isabella's family was eating breakfast at the kitchen table and they noticed bryan was walking laurie out of his room
isabella rolled her eyes. her parents never cared who bryan brought home.
she hated how much they grilled her whenever she liked a guy, let alone dated.
"bryan, are you gonna have breakfast with us?" mary asked her son.
"nope. gonna be late to work. see ya." bryan said before grabbing a piece of toast and walking out the door.
"laurie forman?" isabella questioned.
"let's hope it's the only time she's here." david said.
isabella had always known bryan and laurie were hooking up but she didn't want her at her house.
-
"so, you know what?" donna said.
"what?" jackie and isabella asked her.
"oh, i can't tell you." donna said.
"oh, my god. now you have to tell us. even if it's not about me, i want to hear it." jackie said.
"come on, donna. tell us." isabella said.
"i was really bad last night." donna told them.
"did you shoplift? i knew it." jackie said.
"no. i slept with eric last night." donna said.
"wow." isabella said with a grin.
"oh, my god! oh, my god! was it great?" jackie asked her.
"yeah. i was asleep." donna said.
"wait, what?" isabella asked.
"ew." jackie said.
"no. no, guys, we were both asleep." donna said.
"i'm not following." isabella said.
"so nothing happened?" jackie asked.
"well, you know, some things happened. but we mostly slept." donna said.
"wow, how exciting." isabella said sarcastically.
"you mean you were in his bed and he didn't whine and beg for, like, two hours until you're so sick of hearing his stupid voice that you just gave in so he would shut up?" jackie asked.

"maybe we should revisit this." isabella said.
"no. i love him. he just, like, held me all night." donna said.
"isn't that adorable." isabella said with a smile.
"oh, my god! that's so sweet. michael's just after me all the time. i mean, i understand cause i'm sexy and all, but still. like, okay, he always, says, why cuddle when we can do it?" jackie said.
"well, was he always like that?" donna asked her.
"no. no, i guess things kind of changed after we did it. but in a good way." jackie said.
"clearly." isabella said sarcastically.
"i love it when eric holds me." donna said.
"yeah. i love it when michael buys me stuff." jackie said.
"i need to find a boyfriend, wow." isabella said.

the gang minus jackie and fez were sitting at the hub talking about how eric got suspended.
donna was smoking at school and eric took the blame for her.
"eric forman's first suspension. i'm so proud." hyde said.
"no way. back up. why'd he get suspended?" kelso asked.
"yeah, i'd also like to know." isabella said.
"because he's stupid." donna said.
"they can do that?" kelso asked.
"oh, my god." isabella said.
"no. he told them it was his cigarette, and that's stupid." donna said.
"please, donna, stop. don't fall all over yourself thanking me." eric said.
"i didn't need your help." donna told him.
"yeah, forman. i think she wants to get in trouble. it's donna's little cry for help. help me! help me! we hear you, donna, and we love you." hyde said.
"get bent. you guys are jerks." donna said before getting up.
"i didn't say anything." isabella said.

"wait. why am i a jerk? i don't even know what's going on." kelso said.
"i'm gonna go make sure she's okay." isabella said going after donna.
-
"man, last night we could hear the pinciottis fighting all the way across the driveway. it was horrible. it was all, you're the devil, midge! and oh, bob, shut up." eric said imitating them.
"oh, bob, shut up! that's classic." kelso said laughing.
"man, if you get any dumber you're gonna need a helmet." hyde said.
"pretty sure he already does." isabella said.
"what a bummer for donna, huh? i can't believe they're sleeping in separate bedrooms." hyde said.
"yeah, i know. wait, i don't know. what are you talking about?" eric asked him.
"well, hyde knows something about donna that eric does not know. this is an interesting development. let's watch." fez said.
"yes, let's." isabella said.
"midge is sleeping in the guest bedroom, man." hyde told eric.
"how did you know that? did donna tell you that?" eric asked him.
"look, forman, it's not a big deal. i guess she's just telling me stuff that she's not telling you." hyde said.
"see, this is why communication is so important. now, michael and i-" jackie began.
"uh, excuse me, we were talking about donna and me and how-" eric said.
"oh, hush. no one cares. now, michael never keeps secrets from me. do you, sweetie?" jackie asked him.
"huh? oh, no, no. never." kelso replied.
"now this is an interesting development." isabella said as her and fez grinned.
"michael, you hesitated. why did you hesitate?" jackie asked him.
"no, i didn't hesitate. did i, hyde?" kelso asked him.
"yep." hyde said nodding his head.
"fez?" kelso asked.
"oh, yes. if you really loved her, you would not have hesitated." fez said.
"ah!" kelso let out.
"conversation, michael. the van, now." jackie said.
"no! no, i didn't hesitate! you guys are dead!" kelso said before him and jackie left the room.
"more like he's dead." isabella said.
donna and eric ended up making up and so did jackie and kelso.
-
everyone was standing in the basement and it felt wrong. they didn't know how to explain it but the energy was off.
"something's not right here, man." kelso said.
"helmet head is right." isabella said.
"i'm getting a really weird vibe, like before a tornado. or dracula." hyde said.
"something bad has happened here." eric said.
"something horrible." donna said.
"michael... michael, i'm frightened." jackie said.
"well, whatever it was made the couch nice and warm. someone's been eating my chips." fez said.
"monsters." isabella said.

Epilogue
Revised version now available! Amazon paperback, ebook, audiobook, Kobo, B&N, Google In the war-torn land of Cyraveil, four heroes strove to overthrow an empire. By cold steel and elemental sorcery, they brought peace to a warring land on the brink of destruction. As the flames died, the realm needed strong leadership, and who better than the champions who had saved the kingdom? But when the people sought out their saviors... they vanished. Matt, Blake, Jen, and Carl: the four mysterious companions, who together had deposed an insane ruler and saved countless lives, were gone—spirited back in a whirlwind of magic to a sleepy suburb in Mellbridge, Oregon, never to return. The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. Right as Rage
Only 15 years have passed since the miscreant god, Villi, stole magic from the gods and gave it to mortals. In response the mortals seem to be doing their best to squander this gift. The Kingdom of Abrune regulates it, the church of the Sacred Hierarchies outright condemns it, but one 'wildman' from across the sea begins his journey after being cursed by it. Vakdragnar's curse manifests when he loses his temper. It has driven everyone he’s ever cared about away from him. Out of options and money, he travels to the city of Tirough and quickly finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He is persecuted despite his intentions to do good. How can you stand against evil if everyone you’re trying to protect thinks you’re the villain? And if this curse is truly a part of him now, what if they’re right? **************************************************************************************************** Right as Rage is a story I’ve been excited to write for some time now. I hope everyone is as excited to read it. This story is going to be told over several arcs, with each arc containing 7-12 chapters, and an interlude or two each. I plan on submitting new chapters once a week on Tuesday evenings.

The Strangers
Brian Jeffries wakes up in a bed that is not his own, in a room dimly lit, surrounded by a large group of others just like him. This group of twenty-five finds themselves teleported to the land of Exandria, a world of swords and magic, of elves and orcs, of dungeons and dragons. A strange old man informs them that they are the newest members of the Adventurer's Guild, a group that takes contracts all around the world for gold and glory. For these normal humans the choice is simple: Serve or be executed. The captives are split into parties and sent out on their first jobs. Follow Brian and his newfound allies as they learn to become professional adventurers, complete contracts for the Guild, and maybe find a way home. To honor the source material's Dungeons and Dragons roots, I will be rolling dice throughout the development of this story. Everyone has a character sheet. From combat encounters to social interactions, everything that can be rolled will be rolled. See how a natural 1 can turn the tide of a battle, how a successful intimidation check can subvert a fight, or how deception can reveal critical info. No one is safe and anything can happen when you put your fate in your hands, take a chance, roll the dice. A Critical Role Fanfiction
