"Don't tell me you two are fighting again." Riya rolled her eyes as she sat on the couch next to Camilla who was holding a huge bag of popcorn and a whole lot of other snacks and savories Suman just made.

In these two months of their relationship, Suman had learnt one thing and that is, Shravan MalHOTra is a total bull. All because of his jealousy and possessiveness. They had a huge spat the previous night and their friends had caught on it first thing when they showed up at work with sullen faces. They knew exactly when Suman and Shravan were lovey dovey and when they were at the verge of pulling the other's hair off.

"Of course they are. Haven't you seem Sumo wearing black? Seems like she's mourning over the fact they're fighting." Camilla rolled her eyes making Suman direct a glare towards the two of them.

The three were at Suman's house and like a tradition that was followed in these 3 months, one night would be dedicated to an all girls party at one of the girl's place and simultaneously an all boy's night at one of their places. Camilla and Eric's house was out of the question as they were living in leaving four houses left for any such plans.

"I don't get it. Why are you'll even fighting in the first place?" Camilla asked munching on popcorn as she scrolled through Netflix and stopped on The Modern Home as they decided on binge watching at least a season.

"Considering the number of times they've been fighting, I wouldn't be surprised if she says she doesn't know." Riya muttered making Camilla giggle.

"It's your stupid friend. I don't know why on earth does he act like a total ass at times." Suman said walking over the couch placing the plate of mini pizzas on Riya's lap making her glare.

"What? You're in the middle and your lap is the perfect table for this." Suman raised her hands in defence.

"Don't change the topic you'll! What did Shravan do now?" Camilla asked munching on a mini pizza from the plate.

"I met one of my college friends at the mall yesterday and like a normal girl, I hugged my friend. Over that Mr Malhotra went on and on. As if I didn't hug the man but kissed him."

"Well being in a relationship for so many years, I can sort of understand how possessive men tend to get." Camilla shrugged her shoulders, "And you can't entirely blame him. Look, if Shravan has to hug a girl other than me or Riya wouldn't you feel the sparks of jealousy?" Camilla asked as Suman gritted her teeth thinking any stupid chui mui keeping hands on her man.

"I wouldn't like it." Suman confessed.

"You see!" Riya exclaimed and realization dawned on her.

"Well, since you have realized everything, cheer up and lets watch." Camilla said pressing play.

"I want to meet Shravan."

"Sumo, you can't meet him now. Look its their boys night out and it wouldn't seem good to gate crash and spoil their night now will it? Talk to him tomorrow!" Riya said and Suman nodded her head knowing she was right. For quite a few hours straight their eyes were glued on the TV, it was different thing that Suman's mind was somewhere else.

On the other side the boy's party kickstarted, and by that we mean the three were hogging on food as if they had been left starving for years and years. Along with food they were watching a match of football, and while Rishi and Eric cheered and exclaimed in between the match, Shravan's mind was somewhere else. By a certain someone whom he just fought with.

"What the hell Arsenel?!" Eric exclaimed standing up and Shravan closed his eyes in frustration. On a normal day he would've been screaming and jumping around at times like them but he just wasn't in the mood. And the fact that the two were doing just that pissed him off. Like big time.

"Bruv, if you once more shout Arsenel, I'll shove that hockey stick up your ass. Shut up!" Shravan said while Rishi doubled over in laughter hearing his friend's pissed up voice.

"What the f*ck dude. Calm down." Eric said taking a sip of his beer and threw Shravan's coke can towards him.

"Bro, don't piss the lion out. His lioness dumped him for her girlfriends." Rishi joked and Shravan rolled his eyes at the two.

"I can't believe you'll are fighting." Eric deadpanned taking a whole lot of crisps in his hand and shoving it all in his mouth, a few falling on his lap in the process.

"For the second time this week." Rishi laughed.

"I don't understand what's so funny in this? Laugh once more and I swear I'll throw that TV out the window." Shravan warned.

"Bro we won't lose anything. It's your TV, you have all the freedom in the world to do anything you want to with it. Burn it, throw it, kick it, use it as a punching bag- do anything with it." Rishi said.

"Yeah and if you want, while you and Sumo are at loggerheads, you can imagine the TV to be her and make out with it." Eric gave a side glance to Rishi who gave him a 'Shut the hell up' look knowing very well why he said that.

"Forget the TV, I'll do all that you'll mentioned with you two. Maybe then you'll shut up and let me live in peace."

"Shravan! You'll make out with us!?" Eric feigned shock while Shravan not getting what he said sported a confused look. Upon realising that Eric was referring to what he said so himself a few minutes back, took the empty box of Domino's and threw it towards him.

"I can't believe you fell for that." Rishi doubled in laughter seeing Shravan's face go red for a reason he wasn't quite sure of.

"Bro, it shows you need to meet Sumo." Eric said sobering a little.

"But they fought as usual and his stupid ego won't allow him to." Rishi rolled his eyes at his best friend.

'I miss you sumo.' He sighed looking at Sumo's picture.

"You brought lunch today?" Samantha asked seeing a lunchbox in Suman's bag.

"Not for me." Suman replied writing something on a piece of paper. Once satisfied with the two word letter, she folded it and placed it just below the food in the lunch box.

"Ooh you made Aloo Patatas!" Samantha said and Suman laughed at her mispronounciation.

"Aaloo paranthas."

"Yeah yeah, same thing." Samantha muttered, "Don't tell me you'll fought again."

"How does everyone keep guessing it?"

"It's so apparent! Your not so cheery mood just says it all darling!" Samantha said as if it were the most obvious thing.

"Will you do something for me?" Suman asked and Samantha raised her eyebrow gesturing her go continue, "Please give this to Shravan."

"What do I look like? CitySprint?" Samantha gave a ridiculous smile, "Sweety, you made it you give it. And besides, it's your boyfriend, your chashmish." Samantha gave a proud smile at the end of the sentence at finally pronouncing chashmish correct.

"But-"

"Go!"

"Fine mom." Suman grumbled and made her way out the kitchen.

Making her way towards the already filled cafeteria, she looked around till a certain 6ft man was seen sitting and by his expressions she knew he was starving at that time. Making her way towards his table, she placed the lunch box and walked off not saying a word.

Shravan lifted his gaze seeing a lunch box placed on his table and looked up seeing Suman's retreating back. Smiling slightly to himself, he opened the lunch box and the contents of it brightened his smile. She had made heart shaped Aaloo paranthas for him, the topmost having a smiley face drawn with tomato sauce. Feeling a paper stuck under the container, he pulled the paper off and saw a 'sorry' written in Suman's not so neat and Sumo-like handwriting.

Looking at his grumbling stomach, he sighed and closed the lunch box. He knew he couldn't eat it, not as yet. In order to cure his boredom, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and started scrolling through their pictures in his gallery.

In the meanwhile, Suman was sitting at one end of the cafeteria with Samantha and her smile dropped seeing Shravan close the lunch box.

'Itna bhi Kya naarazgi hai? He could've at least eaten it. This doofus isn't eating the canteen food as well.' She thought.

"Hello? What's up?" Samantha waved her hand bringing Suman back to reality.

"Nothing."

"Won't you eat?" She sighed.

"Nah you continue. I'm going back to the kitchen." She stood up and walked away and Samantha shook her head at her stubborn friend.

Making sure all the necessary things were kept in her bag, she took a look at herself on the full length mirror that was hung on the wall just beside her bed. She was dressed in a scarlet red anarkali. It flowed past her ankles and touched the floor as she didn't bother wearing heels. It's netted sleeves touched her wrists and floral patterns were sequenced on the side of the top half of the dress. She hooked on her favourite golden Jhumkas and for a change applied a mang-tika. Wearing a gold bracelet in one hand, she grabbed her bag in another and walked out her room.

Once she had made sure all windows were latched, she sauntered towards the door and opened it only to find Shravan standing in front of her with his hand stretched out showing he wanted to ring the doorbell.

"Tum kaha jaa rahi ho?" And "Tum yahan?" Rang out simultaneously and the two laughed. Gesturing with her hands for him to come in, she narrowed her eyes wondering why he was at her place when they apparently had a fight two nights back.

Just as she was about to open her mouth she noticed he was dressed in a sherwani, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows flaunting his muscles.

"Tum yahan kaise? Woh bhi Indian outfit pehnkar?" Suman asked.

"Woh main... bas aise hi." He shrugged his shoulders. "Tum kaha jaa rahi thi? Woh bhi sajh dajh ke?"

"I guessed you didn't know what day it was today. Karva chauth, so I was coming over to break my fast." Suman gave a smile and Shravan stood stunned hearing her, "Aur main itni ban-than ke nikal rahi thi kyuki yeh humara pehla karva chauth hai."

"Anyway, tum yahi ruko main pooja ki thaal taiyyar karti hoon." She said and turned around to walk away but he was quick enough and pulled her, her back colliding with his body.

"Tumhe Kya laga? Mujhe yeh din yaad nai hai? Remember you packed aaloo paranthas for me and I left it? Voh issi liye kyuki Maine bhi karva chauth ka fast rakkha hai." He whispered in her ear and she immediately turned to face him, a mixture of shock and surprise on her face.

"Tumne karva chauth ka fast rakkha hai?" She gasped and he nodded his head, "kyu?"

"Kyu? Tumhari mamiji ke liye. Happy?" He gave a tight lipped smile.

"Mera matlab hai, Tumse bhook bardaash nai hoti and tumne toh-"

"Haan mana bhook bardaash nai hoti, Lekin yeh mujhe Karna tha. Tumhare liye, humare liye." He said taking her hands in his and rubbing the back of them with both his thumbs, "yeh batao tum kabhi yeh fast miss kar sakti?"

"Nahi. Kabhi nai."

"Kyu?"

"Kyuki, mujhe tum meri har janam mein chahiye, aur tumhari lambi life ke liye."

"Exactly! Toh mujhe bhi tum hi chahiye har janam mein. Aur meri lambi umar ka Kya matlab agar usme tum na ho? That is why I've fasted for your long life as well. Aur pyaar hum donon ne Kiya, sirf tumne nai. So fast tum akeli kyu rakhongi? I'm equally responsible as you are in contributing to our relationship." He said placing a kiss on her hands.

Seeing a tear escape her eyes he frowned before wiping it, "Arrey ro kyu rahi ho?"

"Khushi ke aansu hai buddhu." She chuckled, "Main kitni lucky hoo ki mujhe tum jaisa boyfriend mila hai."

"Uhum." He shook his head, "boyfriend nai, life partner."

"I love you." Suman placed her head on his chest right above his heart and he wrapped his arms around his waist.

"I love you too."

"And I'm sorry."

"Kyu?"

"Maine Tumse bohot sari ulti cheeze kahi. I should've understood how you must've felt seeing me hug my friend." Suman said.

"I'm sorry too. I overreacted." He said.

"Anyway," Suman broke the hug and stood straught, "chalo let's break our fast."

"Chalo phir." He smiled and the two walked out to the balcony.

Once they were done breaking each other's fast, the two walked in shivering a little due to the sudden decrease in temperature. Making sure the doors were closed right, Suman went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for them. As there wasn't enough time and the fact the two were super hungry, she simply made toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches for the two and Shravan switched on the heater in the living room.

"Finally!" Shravan said excitedly taking a sandwich.

"I still can't believe Mr Bukkhad ne pura din kuch nai khaya!" Suman teased taking a bite of the sandwich.

"Can say the same Bukkhadi." He scoffed.

"Bukkhadi word nai hai."

"Whatever."

"Short of comebacks now are we?" Suman teased raising her right eyebrow.

"Naah mujhe laga, I should let you have the last word once in a while." He shrugged.

"Oh please! You didn't have anything else to say. Tabhi muh pe tape maarke baithe ho."

"Tape? Kaunsa tape? Tumhare hoton ka?" Shravan smirked and Suman groaned at her hopeless boyfriend.

"Kitne tharki ho tum."

"Jaani, main tharki nai romance king hoon." He gave a flirtatious smile and Suman didn't know if she should be laughing at what he said or cry out of frustration at how hopeless he is.

"Waise Sumo, ek baat batao." He called out to which she hummed in response.

"Agar by chance Maine tumhe propose nai Kiya tha, tum Kya karti?"

"Tumhara kachumbar bana leti aur Kya. Almost 12 saal intezaar karvaya hai tumne."

"Tabhi toh Bukkhadi kehta hun, har baat pe khane ke bare mein baat karti hai." Shravan mumbled.

"Tumne kuch kaha?" Suman asked to which he shook his head.

"Sumo?"

"Haan Shravan." Suman gave him that look as he had interrupted her while she was reading an article.

"I didn't know bachpan mein tumhare baal coconut tree jaise dikhte the." He said in all seriousness and Suman looked at him, confusion written all over her face.

As soon as she got a vague idea of what he was referring to, she widened her eyes, "Tumne mere Bachpan ke photos kaha dekhe?"

"Photos nai. Bas yahi." He laughed showing her her childhood photo displayed on his phone and she dramatically gasped.

"Where did you find that?" She yelled.

"What do you think?" He raised his eyebrow.

"That baboon Pushkar!" Suman screamed, "Shravan delete that!"

"No way! I'll in fact post this picture on Instagram and Facebook." He laughed.

"You won't dare to." She glared.

"Of course I will." He gave a challenging look.

"Shravan! Give me the phone!" She yelled out and literally jumped on top of him.

"Oww! Moti!"

"You called me moti!"

"Moti ko moti bulaonga na." He said as a matter of a fact and she resisted the urge to pull his hair.

"Waise, tumhe phone chahiye haina?"

"So was I speaking in French all this time, when asking for the phone?"

"Mera matlab hai, let's make a deal."

"Kaunsa deal?" Suman raised her eyebrow and Shravan tapped his lip making her narrow her eyes.

"Get lost!" She scoffed moving away.

"Accha?" He raised his eyebrow to which she gave him a look of knives.

"Think about it."

"Get lost."

"Accha phir. I'll get going, Waise bhi I've still got to think of an awesome caption for this photo." He stood up and Suman held his hand.

"Theek hai. Kiss chahiye na? Milenga." She said thinking of something.

"Promise?" Shravan gave a naughty smile.

"Haan baba." She chuckled and Shravan sat right next to her.

Seeing him anticipating a kiss, she quickly snuck the phone from him and was about to run away but was soon met with his chest.

"I knew you were up to something. Mere paas lawyer ki degree patang udane ke liye nai hai." He whispered.

"Accha? Kuch mahine pehle kuch aur dikh raha tha." She taunted hinting to Shravan's ignorance to her feelings for him.

"Hmm taunt bhi maar rahi ho? Koi baat nai, we can fix it." He said huskily as their noses touched and what happened next was simply magical.
