"Samantha Samantha Samantha!" Suman squealed first thing the following Monday as soon as she entered the kitchen. She held her hands and twirled her much to the amusement of her as well as the other ladies out there.
"Sumo!" Samantha exclaimed a while later seeing a dancing Sumo, "Shravan sir is here." She pointed to where Shravan stood behind Suman and she widened her eyes, stopping her dance immediately.
"Ahem, " Shravan cleared his throat hiding an amused smile, "Miss Tiwari, may I know the reason behind your happiness this morning?"
"Not-nothing sir." She mumbled fighting back a blush. Shravan smirked hearing her call him sir, because truth be told in all those weeks of working for him, it was the first time she addressed him at work.
"Mr Malhotra, you wanted something?" One of Suman's co-chef purred, seductively making Suman cringe much to the amusement of Shravan.
If looks could kill, she'd be getting her last wish fulfilled.
"No, Uhmm I just came to fetch water for myself." He replied nonchalantly and before anyone could proceed to help, Suman rushed out with a jug of water making him smile at her reaction.
A while after he went, Suman went out with the excuse of going to the bathroom. As soon as she was outside Shravan's cabins, she felt him pulling her in as he locked the door and gave her a devilish smile.
Thank God, this door to the cabin was on the other side of the building!
"Seeing him walk towards her, she took a step back for every step he took towards her. At last, she couldn't further move away, thanks to his desk.
"Shravan." She warned, not sounding convincing to her own ears.
"Someone might see us." She whispered as his figure towered her.
"Its a one way glass." He said placing his hands on either side of her on the table and leaning towards her face.
"I'm your employee." Her breath came out raspy feeling his lip hovering over hers. One movement and their lips would touch.
'What's taking so long, Lambu!' She agitatedly thought.
"So?" He whispered placing his lip over hers. She gasped feeling his hands under her thighs picking her up and placing her on the table. The kiss that started off gentle, turned into a passionate aggressive one, with the two fighting for dominance.
They pulled back to catch their breaths and he placed his forehead on hers, his breaths coming out raspy.
"You have no idea how much I wanted to do that on this desk." He whispered tucking a stray strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Since when?" She asked looking in his eyes.
"From the time I started off this office. You inhabited my mind, my thoughts 24/7. Like I said, I've been loving you from the time I was just a teenage boy. I'd wonder every time, what would my Sumo be doing, where would she be, how would she be, would she be missing me as much as I'm missing her? You invaded my dreams. You were at the tip of my tongue in every prayer, you still are. My day started off with you and ended with you." He said cupping her left cheek, tracing circles on it with the pad of his thumb.

"Remember that time we almost kissed on your couch?" He asked and she nodded her head. "That night I kept on dreaming of you, every dream starting with a kiss and ending with..." He gave a mischievous smile making het blush. "The next morning Rishi came over to fetch me and walked up my room to wake me up and I grabbed him thinking it's you. That poor guy was so traumatised, he stayed away from me thinking I've either turned gay or was sexually frustrated. Later when he connected the dots, he along with Eric teased me endlessly." He chuckled making sumo giggle.
"Sereves you right for torturing me so many months." She replied hotly making his raise his eyebrow.
"What? I'm saying the truth Lambu!" She said and soon a squeal escaped her throat as her picked her up, her legs instantly wrapping themselves around his waist and he sat them down on his chair.
"Shravan I swear if someone has to come, I'll kill you." She warned yet giggle feeling stubble tickle the crook of her neck.
"Accha? Planning on becoming a widow before marriage itself?"
"Naah, kissi aur se shaadi karungi." She played along.
"No chance. My ghost will haunt him down. The poor guy will be scared beyond his wits, forget you he won't marry anyone else in the future." He replied possessively and took the flesh of her neck between his teeth and bit it making her moan.
He pulled down a sleeve of her top rrceling her shoulders and his lips traced every inch of skim available to him. His one hand cupped her breast through the fabric of her top while the fingers of her other side traced patterns on the inside of her thigh. Despite being seated on him, she felt her legs shaking and liquid pooled between her legs. His lips proceeded further towards the swell of her breast as her fingers worked it's way through his shirt buttons, as the desire of skin contact overwhelmed her. Their make out was stopped at someone knocking his door.
He pulled back and his eyes were greeted with a wonderful sight. Her hair messy, lips swollen, the hem of her top pulled down revealing her milky shoulders and cleavage, her fingers on his bare chest and he could feel the warmth emanating from between her legs. He felt his erection and decided to stop before things went beyond their control.
"Sumo we should stop." He whispered to which she nodded. He decided on simply holding her against him. Their bubble was broken by another harsh knock on the door.
"Shravan yaar, it's time to close. What are you doing?" Rishi's voice came.
"Saala kebab mein haddi." He mumble making Suman giggle at what he said and placed a quick peck on his lip before getting up.
She went out from the other door and soon made her way to the kitchen without being noticed while he, on the other hand, straightened up and opened the door finding a very impatient Rishi waiting for him.
"What took you so long?" Samantha asked seeing her.
"Huh?" Suman asked still a little lost. She could literally feel his hands on her!

"What's up with you? Why do you look so flushed?" She raised an eyebrow to which Suman meekly shook her head.
"You are so lazy! I wonder how you managed all these years alone in London." Suman muttered as she stirred the contents of the butternut soup. given the weather, the soup was the perfect dish for dinner.
"Yaar, tum na bilkul bhi romantic nai ho. Main tumhare saath time spend karne aaya aur tum ho ki." Shravan sulked as he sat on the kitchen counter.
"Romantic? Huh. Tabhi toh baada saal lagaye tumne teen easy shabd bolne ko." She scoffed.
"Main na jaaraha hoon, tumhare taunt se behtar, main bahar ka pheeka khana khaunga." He said getting off the counter and seeing Suman ignoring what he said, he moved towards the door before exclaiming,
"Main jaaraha hoon!"
"Toh jaau na. Maine thodi gaud mein bithake rakkha hai." Suman said nonchalantly laughing mentally. She knew Shravan was trying to get a reaction out of her but she played neutral.
"Main sacchi jaaraha hoon." He said not expecting the lack of reaction from her.
"Tum na ek kaam karo, media mein daal do "The Shravan Malhotra just walked out of Suman Tiwari's London apartment". Itna bolne ki Kya zaroorat hai. Darwaaza hai wahan." Suman said facing him, "oh accha! Tumhe darwaaza kholne nai aata? Toh main hi khol deti hoon na." She said walking towards the door hiding her smile.
"Bye!" Sharavn huffed walking out the door.
"Bye!" Suman waved grinning.
"Bye!"
"Accha suno?"
"Kaho?" Shravan grinned looking back.
"Tum na yahi raho, dinner ke liye." Suman smiled.
"Finally! Lekin kyu?" He gave a lopsided grin.
"Kyuki tum ek number ke aalsi ho." Suman pulled out her tongue before running and made her way to her room.
As soon as his mind registered what she said, he widened his eyes screaming, "Sumo ki bacchi," and ran off behind her, closing the door.
"Aalsi huh?" Shravan asked entering her room and Suman mentally facepalmed at not closing the door.
"Nai. Maha Aalsi." Suman giggled running around the room with him just behind her.
"Accha!" Shravan picked her up bridal style within a few seconds making her squeal in delight.
"Shravan ke bacche!"
"Shaadi ke baad hojayenge!" Shravan smirked as Suman widened her eyes, her cheeks tinged.
"Bohot bure ho tum."
"Jaanta hoon. Chudail is boyfriend hoon, bura banna padta hai na." He grin as Suman whacked him before leaning her head on his shoulder as he walked them over to the couch in the lounge.
"Kya dekhna hai tumhe?" Shravan asked going through Netflix.
"Kaho na pyaar hai." Suman mumbled.
"Haan Tumse pyaar hai." Sharavn said cheekily making Suman giggle, "Sumo pick something else." He whined.
"Fine." She huffed, "The nun."
"The nun?" Shravan asked, "Why do we need to watch the nun, jab tum yahan ho?" He bit the inside of his cheeks to stop himself from laughing.
"Gadhe!" Suman screamed taking the nearest pillow and hit him right on his face.
"Motu sumo wrestler se toh lakh guna behtar hoon." He replied earning another punch with the pillow.
"Okay bas bas." Lekin tumhe sach mein voh movie dekhne hai? I remember jab hum school mein the, we once watched a horror aur tum itna dar gayi thi." Shravan asked, concern enveloping his features and Suman's heart melted in an instant.
'Who wouldn't fall in love with this guy?' She thought to herself.
"Haan baba. Waise bhi tumhare London jaane ke baad, mujhe aadat huyi thi, akele movie dekhne ki." She replied casually missing the hint of remorse on his face.
"I'm sorry sumo. Meri ek bewakoofi ki vajah se, tumne aur Maine kya kuch nai saha." He said, all traces of his previously playful grin disappearing.
"Oof Shravan! Kitne baat sorry bolonge? If you think of yourself to be responsible, so am I! Maine na jaane Kya kya nai kaha aur Kiya tumhara saath. I took you for granted, I insulted you in front of my gang. You always were there for me, Lekin jab meri baari aayi tumhara saath dene ka, Maine tumhe beech raaste mein hi choda." Suman said a tear escaping her left eye.
"No sumo. Tum tab bacchi thi, naadan aur immature thi. Tumne joh bhi kya ghalati se Kiya." Sharavn said instantly bringing her closer as she rested her head on his chest.
Instead of replying to whatever he had just said she just said one thing, "tum itne acche kyu ho?"
"Main itna accha kyu hoon?" He repeated the question, "Kyu? Tumhe mawali ladka chahiye tha kya?" He joked making Suman giggle.
"Chalo, dinner karte hai. Mujhe bhook lagi hai." Suman said trying to get up, but was help back by Shravan's tight grip on her.
She raised her eeybrows gesturing and was soon caught off gaurd as she felt the surface of the couch slip off beneath her and the next minute found herself being carried by Shravan to the kitchen. Gently placing her on the kitchen counter, Shravan kept his hands on either side of hers and leaned down till their foreheads touched.
"Mujhe mera inaam do na." He whispered huskily causing the hair on her skin to erect.
"Kis liye?"
"Tumhe uthane ke liye aur Kya? Pata hai, kitni heavy ho tum? Baapre baap!" He exclaimed as Suman punched him on his chest, which by the way felt like a father's touch.
His smirk was however, slipped off the next minute as Suman pulled him suddenly and placed her lips on his, initiating their kiss. They might have kissed a few times by then, but it was the first that she was initiating it and that left him quivering beyond what words could describe.
"Kaisa laga inaam?" Suman whispered between the kiss.
"Sabse best." He muttered letting her take control of the kiss.
Due to lack of breath, they pulled apart and Shravan placed his forehead on hers. He soon placed a kiss on her forehead as her eyes closed momentarily enjoying the feeling of his lips against her forehead.
And that is how two best friends and lovers
