"So how's it going with your Shravan?" Samantha asked as she gave her a crooked smile.

"What's with the 'Your Shravan' tag?" Suman asked nonchalantly. She didn't want another person telling her how obvious she and Shravan were. They had just a cordial relationship in office!

"Oh please Sumo, I wasn't born yesterday. Whenever we have a conversation, more than half of your talks are revolved around Shravan. How you'll met, how you do this, how you hang out, how he loves your food, his favourite food, how you once thought he was going to kiss you, how he looked after you when you were bedridden, how helpless and hopeless you felt when he suddenly left for London again." She stated as a matter of a fact making Suman internally groan.

'Maybe talking about Shravan wasn't a good idea afterall.' She thought.

"Suman darling, you love him." She stated.

"Yes I do so what?" She whispered. "Let me tell you something, I once came across a letter he had written for me 11 years ago, stating he loves me, but when I asked him to give his love a chance, he stated he moved on. I, in no way, can confess my love to a guy that considers me as just a friend. Someone that used to love me, and I, unintentionally, broke his heart.

I remember being an idiot back in high school, and he left. I don't want to become an idiot again by confessing my love and end up losing him. It was literally just destiny that brought him back in my life, it was destiny that made us friends once again. But it doesn't mean, destiny will help me in making my love story." She finished off.

"Wow, you can give me a whole-ass lecture on this, but you can't say a simple I love you." She muttered but Sumo narrowed her eyes as she heard her.

"There's he." Samantha pointed out and Suman looked in his direction as he just entered the cafeteria and who, by the way, was currently looking at her intently.

"He's so in love with you." Samantha groaned at her hopeless friend.

"Yeah and giraffes can fly in the air." Suman muttered.

"Well you never know, this world is full of surprises!" Samantha exclaimed.

"Sheesh what's with the excitement woman! Tone it down a bit."

"Why? I mean I just saw how much this hot guy loves my friend who also loves him." She said excitedly.

"Who loves who?" Riya asked as she took a seat besides Suman.

For the past few days, Riya had been joining the two for lunch as she had gotten quite close to Suman.

"Her father loves her mother." Suman replied quickly making Samantha facepalm herself mentally.

'Real mature Sumo.' She thought.

"Huh?" Riya asked.

"Uhmm I meant, her parents had a love marriage." Suman corrected.

"Ohhkay." Riya replied still unsure but chucked the topic.

"By the way, tonight Rishi's Mamu invited us group of friends for dinner and I want to take you as well! Well I asked him and he was more than happy having one more." Riya informed Suman.

"No Riya, it wouldn't be right. I mean it would be weird, having dinner with my bosses." Suman said hesitantly. Riya's friendly approach was overwhelming, but she was literally a loner. She loved her 'Me Time' -something she got only at night.

"Oh shooosh!" Riya chided not wanting to hear her excuses. "Remember, after office hours, you aren't an employee to us, so no worries dude! It's gonna be super fun! Me, Rishi, Eric, Camilla and Shravan as well!"

"You should definitely go!" Samantha squealed out earning a few looks from the some of the people on the surrounding tables.

"Uhmm I mean, dinner with your bosses is such a great privilege you know." Samantha corrected herself while Suman made a mental note to kill Samantha.

"By the way, I better get going. Rishi's been annoying me. We've got to go grocery shopping." Riya facepalmed as she typed away on her phone and scampered away after giving Suman a quick hug.

"Samantha, I'll really kill you!" Suman whisper yelled as she whacked her arm.

"Ouch! You violent woman." Samantha exclaimed. "I must tell your Shravan to be careful of you. Who knows when madam will go around slapping him." She muttered making Suman throw a French fry her way.

"Broo, since its half day. You go home and get ready. Look ravishing mahn." Samantha winked.

"Samantha, I'm going for a dinner with them. Not on a date with him." She whispered still a little scared at having dinner with Shravan's friends who turned out to be her bosses.

"What do I do with this girl?" Samantha grumbled, "Like I said, she herself called you. You aren't poking your butt into it. They won't eat you up. Now you, go home and get ready. And don't forget to send me pictures of what you're wearing!" Samantha said as she practically pushed Suman out of her chair and shooed her away from the canteen.

Samantha prayed that Shravan would atleast go and confess his love to her.

"Tum?" Suman asked as soon as she opened the door to her house.

"Kyu? London ka president aane wala tha?" Shravan mocked as he made his way in and made himself comfortable on the couch.

"I mean. Tumhe pata hi honga dinner plan ke baare mein. Tum yahan Kya kar rahe ho?"

"Tumhe pick up karne. Waise you wouldn't know how to get there." He shrugged.

"Riya ne mujhe address de diya, I'd just have to say it to the cab driver."

"It's fine. Saath mein chalenge. Waise, they'll be shocked seeing us together!" Shravan grinned making Suman shake her head at him.

"I'm going in for a shower." Suman informed and was about to walk into her room but stopped dead in her tracks hearing what Shravan said.

"Main bhi saath chalu?" He smirked while looking at her widening her eyes and burst into laughter. Suman threw something his way muttering incoherently under her breath.

While he was aimlessly scrolling through the channels on TV, not knowing what else to do, he heard a shriek from Suman's room and hurried without knocking finding Suman sitting on the bed, her legs kept underneath herself.

"Kya Hua?" He asked confused.

"Spider!" She screamed out to the little black creature on the wall making Shravan laugh.

"Tum isse dar rahi ho?" He laughed out louder looking at the spider that wasn't even quarter the size of his finger.

"Usse bahar nikalo!" Suman shrieked as she saw it moving rapidly.

"God, Sumo!" Shravan groaned but nonetheless done what she told. He took an old newspaper and squished it before throwing it out. He then washed his hands in the bathroom and came out still finding Suman curled up making him chuckle.

Hearing him laugh, she narrowed her eyes at him. "Kya khikhikhi has rahe ho?"

"Tum, The Sumo, ek chote se spider se itna dar rahi ho." Shravan laughed.

"You!" Suman exclaimed as she took the pillow and threw it at him.

"Ohh another pillow fight huh?" He cocked his eyebrow and took the same cushion throwing it, but she dodged it sticking her tongue at him.

"I'll get you." He said as he climbed onto the bed and stared hitting her with her pillows while she fought back. Their giggles were heard in the room and when finally tired, the two stopped, trying to catch their breaths, before bursting into fits of laughter.

"Waise you look sexy with the towel wrapped around your body." Shravan winked making Suman gasp before she started hurling baby punches on his chest.

Shravan laughed, as those punches felt nothing but feather-like, and pulled her fisted hands making the two fall on her bed with her directly onto him.

Shravan lied down, admiring the lady he had grown to love over the years. The innocence her face held, made his heart fall all the more in love with her. Her brown orbs looking straight in his eyes, done damage to his heart. He pulled the lock of hair that was disturbing him and her cheeks had a natural blush whenever he was in vicinity, as he tucked it behind her ear. Her lips were so alluring, that only he knew how much self control he had to impose on himself to not grab her and claim her lips. All in all, she was the most beautiful girl he ever laid eyes on.

She was his beautiful girl.

"Shravan." Suman whispered, his fingers on her bare back causing havoc within her. She cursed her towel for loosening up, making it fall right to her waist at the back while she clutched it just above her bosom.

Hearing her say his name out so huskily, he snapped out of trance and looked at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Well as much as I love staying here, you have to get ready. We're getting late." He said while Suman blushed and got up, simultaneously tugging at her towel so that it doesn't fall.

Seeing her struggling, Shravan moved towards her while Suman looked at him wide eyed.

'Yeh Shravan Control Baba se tharki kaise bana?' She thought.

She closed her eyes tight but soon opened them when she felt something. She saw Shravan covering the front of her body with a shawl, as his own cheeks turned pink at what he was doing. She couldn't help but fall all the more in love with him.

"Main bahar intezaar kar raha hu." He informed and quickly head out, while Suman hid her face in her right hand blushing at what just occurred.

Had it been any other guy, he would've taken advantage of the situation, but he didn't. Yes, he played around and teased her buy they were so light hearted. He instead, covered her with a shawl so that she doesn't feel uncomfortable.

That is her Shravan.

And she yet, fell deeper into the bright pit of love.

"I love your dress!" Riya exclaimed as she, Suman and Camilla were talking in the kitchen.

She had worn a royal blue Salwar Kameez. The Kameez was covered with golden flower embellishments on the top half as well as the sleeves and had stick on golden buttons in the middle from where the embellishments ended to the bottom of the Kameez. She paired her outfit with golden Jhumkas and the same bracket Shravan had once gifted her. Not being someone to wear heels, she had worn golden pumps. Her face was sans heavy makeup, just the basic mascara, eyeliner and nude lipstick. Her face glowed under the fluorescent kitchen light bulb as she smiled to what Riya had said.

Shravan was dumbstruck the minute she came out of her room after getting dressed. He was looking none the better tho, Suman herself was having a hard time keeping her eyes off him. He was simply wearing black jeans with white half sleeved t-shirt. His muscles and perfectly sculptured arms were visible making it hard for her to keep her eyes off them. His jawline, sharp as always coated with a prickly stubble she wished to rub her cheeks onto. His hear was slightly messy, wishing she could tread her fingers in his locks.

"Thank you Riya." Suman smiled.

"I still can't believe none of you'll told us, you'll are best friends!" Camilla said as Riya nodded her head in agreement to which Suman shrugged.

"Well at first I was quite angry at him and then just two weeks back we sorted everything between us." She said as the aroma of the chicken parmesan pasta hit her nostrils, "Smells good." She said.

"Thanks! By the way how long are you'll friends for?"

"13 years." Suman replied.

"12 years 7 months and 26 days." Shravan's voice interrupted them as they saw him enter the kitchen with Eric and Rishi.

"Wow not bad Shravan, you actually kept track to this extent?" Camilla said before whacking Eric.

"Oww! What was that for?" He asked rubbing the spot.

"You see, they're just friends yet he remembers exactly how long they're freinds for, and you, despite being my boyfriend can't even remember when was the first time we met." She complained making the rest laugh.

"I know right. By the way Shravan, are you sure you'll are just best friends or is there something more to it?" Riya wiggled her eyebrows making the two blush.

Now everything made sense to her. They had known each other for so long. When Shravan came to London he didn't have much friends and was gloomy most of the times, that's because he wasn't with his best friend. As he grew older, his body changed drastically and became like one of those male models from the magazines. Girls were mad after him, yet he didn't date any. He didn't even kiss a girl in his life! All because he was in love with his best friend from the time he was still a teenager! All this made Riya admire the bond the two shared and she prayed to God for the two to confess their love, as she could see the love in Suman's eyes for Shravan as well.

"Well, let's go eat. The food is done!" Camilla exclaimed as she took the pizza out of the oven and Suman carried over the Apple peacan salad and Riya took the pasta to the dining room where they began eating.

"Hmm so Suman is the Juliet to this Romeo." Eric whispered to Shravan and Rishi while Rishi clapped Shravan's back.

"Shut up." He said trying to not make the blush on his face apparent but failed badly.

"Ahem, looks like we'll be having another couple in our group soon enough!" Rishi said as the two high fived making Shravan facepalm.

'They will make sure we become a couple.' He thought to himself as his eyes caught Suman giggling at something Camilla said and kept on staring at her.
