"I still don't like that guy." Feonix said, obviously referring to Jaden.

"I know F, but he's trying, and he said he wants to get to know you. And maybe be your friend. If your willing, that is." I said back, holding his hands.

He scoffed and turned away from me.

I didn't expect much else to be honest. Jaden's always had an unexplained hatred for Feonix, and treated him like shit. God knows why.

"Is he picking you up at least?"

"We're meeting there." I started.

"It feels weird, having him take me instead of you, my boyfriend."

"I love it when you say that."

"What?"

"When you call me your boyfriend. If I was told you'd be calling me that a couple of months ago I'd laugh in your face." He grabbed onto my hips, drawing me closer to his slender body.

"Me too." I said back, it was true, but not exactly for the same reasons as my Feonix.

"I love you." We said, again in synchrony, just like the first time we had said it to each other.

He kissed me and I lost all trail of thought.

"How do I look?" I asked the guy who I wished would be there with me tonight.

"Fucking stunning." I smiled back. Trust me I knew I looked good.

A text interrupted my thoughts.

Hey, I'm about to leave, I might

as well pick you up on the way if

your ready.

Yeah I'm ready

"Jaden is picking me up on the way now." I told him.

"Mhm." He mumbled back, clearly unhappy with the whole situation.

"Will you be here when I get back?"

"I don't know yet. I'll text you."

"Okay."

With that I made my way to the front door, to be greeted by a very dashing looking Jaden.

"Wow." He said.

"You clean up nice Hossler." I said back.

He gave me a toothy smile and lead me to his car.
