Time.
Time really has a wonderful way to show what really matter to us. Though it's the most hardest task to keep up to it, it is still a gift.
Leonardo Bianchi five years ago is someone whom everyone respected, terrified and flirted with. But just a short span of those five years, I had learnt a lot about life and experienced the depth of it.
What started like a professional relationship turned into teasing and I didn't even know how I started falling for that light hearted short girl. We teased, tortured, talked, understood and went through hell together only to come to this point of life.
Today is the same day when I met Lilliput for the first time five years ago and also today is the day I will be officially proposing my Sienna. I'm so nervous and happy at the same time that our difficulties finally gave us a fruitful result.
"Val, I can do the remaining so you can please go. Your husband is waiting for you and Sienna will arrive anytime soon." I quickly got Val's bag and escorted her out of the cabin.
"Alright, alright! Don't mess this up and spill your heart before her. I know she will accept you. All the best, brother." Val wished me good luck and walked to the boat that is waiting for her.
I stood nervously shifting from one leg to another at a very famous Bridge Café in Venice. I closed my eyes and breathed in fresh air to calm my raging nerves.

I chanted over and over to calm myself down. This place is very special to Sienna and I. This is where everything started again between us. This is where time stopped for us and took a turn. This is where destiny played its role in our favor. This is the place where we started the second part of our beautiful journey.
Bridge Café... the most memorable place I can ever treasure.
An year and half ago when Sienna chose to go apart from me, I was sure that this time we would meet again and when we do meet again, I knew it was for good. I waited seven long months for the moment I could see her beautiful face and hear her sweet voice. I never tried to look for her, stalk her or even try to cross paths with her. I left it completely on destiny this time to choose our fates and that happened after long wait of seven months.
Seven months of self-separation and living in agony, it was the most beautiful day when I saw her again. In Venice.
I had to complete a nagging deal of branch of restaurants and cafes in Venice and went to the Bridge café to have a glance at it before closing the purchasing deal. Bridge café is quite famous for situation in the middle of a beautiful bridge that many love to scroll around.
Beautiful cloudy weather, beautiful insides of the cozy café had a very calming effect on my agonized brain and heart. The aromatic smell of caffeine and delicious pies was suddenly overpowered by delicate sweet smell of sandalwood and roses.
I don't know why but the sweet smell was so addicting that I started looking for the source in the small space of cozy café. My eyes restlessly scanned the space and my nose acting as it's guide to detect the addicting smell which almost stumbled me with it mild fragrance and the search came to a halt when my eyes found the spring of its brightness.

How much her appearance changed in these mere seven months! She looks more beautiful and appealing, if possible. Her eyes expressed a great satisfaction with life and smile showed how content she is.
I missed her smile a lot. My Goddess Sienna.
She looks healthy and surreal now, smiling at something the waitress is saying.
Oh, how much I missed you, Lilliput. It was almost like dying every second without seeing you. I missed you a lot.
I walked towards her with an expectation that she would shower me with that pretty smile of hers and was suddenly stopped by the yells and cries of people running around in the café terrified and shocked.
"Hello, Miss, What happened? Why is everyone running away?" I stopped the nearby crying woman and asked as loudly as I can.
"There's a heavy storm that hit the city. The café is on lock down from inside due to sudden rise of water over the bridge with heavy rainfall." She explained trying to find a safe space for herself to hide.
A storm?
Oh No, Sienna.
I hurriedly looked for her petite figure everywhere, I was getting anxious because she was nowhere to be seen. Where could she go? Did something happen to her? Is she alright? Was she alone and lost somewhere?
All the negative questions were harassing my sanity and the only solace I can get right now is to see her fine in front of me.
Due the clutter of people running around the very small space looking for a safe out, I couldn't much move without getting hit or collide hard with someone or the other. Parents are hugging their kids, sitting in one corner while the old men and women were carelessly tossed out of the way by the people around.
Five minutes of hell finally came to an end when I saw the one I wanted to so much. Sienna was helping one of the old lady to a corner chair where people there's no rush. Sienna had long gash of wound on her right side of forehead and it bleeding a lot begging for a medicine. In spite of being hurt, she hurriedly took the lady to a chair with much difficult. I can see that she's trying very hard to keep be conscious due to the deep wound she got on her head.
I immediately scurried to her and was about to call out her name when suddenly her steps flattered. I rushed to her crossing the small space in a flash of moment and caught her from falling. Her eyes were closed and her face looked very pale. Taking off my jacket, I placed her faint body on a long table and covered her with my jacket. I checked her pulse and it was strong enough so I tied my handkerchief around her head to stop the bleeding and rubbed her hands and legs to get them warm.
An hour later the people in the café are calmer now. Everyone are sitting calmly and praying for themselves and their family. There must be around twenty five people including me and Sienna. It was getting dark outside and Sienna isn't conscious yet and I'm getting to worried for her.
"Everyone! There's a group of help team that is reaching here in few minutes with helicopters and I want everyone to climb up the ladder in the chimney slowly." A help guard announced leading everyone to the chimney ladder.
"Wh-at happened. Argh." I heard Sienna groan, cupping her head with both her hands.
"Easy there. Get up slowly. The help team is here with choppers to get us out of here." I said soothingly.

She looked at me with confused eyes, "What are you doing here?" She asked hissing in pain.
"Fortunately, I'm here to survey the café to buy it out. Why are you here?" I questioned back to which she groaned loudly catching her head and closing her eyes.
I immediately got up from the chair and provided her with a bottle of water. She took a big gulp and sighed in relief. "Sebastian brought me to Venice to help him propose a girl he was crushing from awhile. He already told me not to go anywhere without him but me being a fool wanted to enjoy the arms of nature. See where it led me to, Directly into the arms of nature." She complained non-stop which made me chuckle at her carefree nature that I missed so much.
Something changed.
Something changed in how she was behaving around me, how she's looking at me and how she was talking to me. It was carefree. There's no hint of bitter past intervening in her way of talking nor was there the pain in her eyes while looking at me. She looked... happy.
Happy... when her eyes met mine.
Something changed in me while looking at her. There was no expectation from her now. I surprising was not desperate to get her love for myself. I was not in any idea of impressing her. I... I somehow felt that it was the way I should feel right now.
I somehow know that we both will have what we deserve and nothing can change that. It felt right to not expect anything. It felt right to just go with the flow. It felt absolutely right to be what I am.
"Are we still on lockdown?" She asked touching the cloth around her head. "Thanks for this" She said pointing at the cloth.
"You are welcome. Yes the water level is rising greatly by every minute and being in the middle of the bridge is not a good thing right now. I think I can hear the sound of helicopter. We should go to the chimney and climb up." I said offering my hand to her to take. She took it without any other thought and by the time we reached the chimney, the place was already crowded with people pushing and pulling to climb it.
Though I can push them all with ease, Sienna is not in the condition to be left alone so I had to wait for the batch to quickly climb up.
After a lot of pushing, many people successfully hiked up leaving me, Sienna, an old couple and four kids.
"I think we need to help them up first or else it might get very hard for them later." Saying, Sienna went towards the kids. I walked to the old couple and explained them slowly how to climb. Once the couple are finally up, kids were much easy to help .It took mere minutes to get them and ourselves up.
Once I and Sienna reached up after the kids, we were shocked and stunned to see the helicopter already full and leaving. It was the last trip that the help team can make due to heavy thunders and lightning.
And so, we were stuck in the building.
Lost out of nowhere but gained each other.
Those six days of being with each other in a closed building was the start of the part two of our journey. Six days being with each other alone was the best thing that destiny can play. That hint was enough for both of us at what we should be to each other.
We were, no doubt petrified all those six days but then again, I cannot have any other thing exchange with it. I love all the moments we spent alone. The previous attraction for each other worked again. It was not sexual. It was something pure this time. We took care of each other, cooked and served for each other. Everything we did was for each other and those few days trigged more deep feelings for each other which was beyond love.
We never expressed but we did enjoy the timeout with each other so much.
Finally getting out of the isolation six days later all thanks to Sebastian and calming climate, we yet again went our own ways but this time I'm confident that we are bound together.
Two weeks after we were rescued, Sienna barged into my Venice office suddenly without any prior arrangement and spoke the words that whelmed me with something beyond bliss.
'Let's date, Leonardo. I want to give us both a chance.'
And from that very minute we started dating. We started our relation from scratch and we were very glad that we did. We didn't let our prior feelings to overpower us but we did made those experiences to lead us further. We took out new found feelings in a very comfortable pace. We started of with just holding each other's hands but slowly it turned into intensified kisses and nothing more.
I promised myself that I will only touch her when she is legally mine and I'm hers.
It's been an year that we started dating and today is the day I finally geared up my courage to ask her to be my wife.
"LEONARDO BIANCHI!"

"Gosh, Sienna why were you yelling in my ear?" I asked looking at her irritated and confused.
"You need to pay attention to your surroundings and stop being in your dream land. I was calling you from ten minutes and you were like statue standing here. What are you thinking by the way?"
"About the proposal." I blurted out unknowingly revealing my surprise. "Damn I forgot my proposal speech. What was it... 'I would be the luckiest a to be your husband'. No, I think it was something else, what was it?" I muttered to myself trying to think hard what my speech was.
God I did not plan the proposal to be this way.
"Yes." I heard.
I looked up to Sienna whom I just realized that she's there but all my attention was on the word she said.
"What?" I asked slowly wanting to hear the word again.
"I said yes."
"Y-Yes? You said yes to marry me?" I asked inching towards her slowly and bringing my hands to her face.
"But –" She said when I was about to kiss her.
"But?"
"But I can only be your wife only if you promise me to name one of our future kids after my brother." She smiled with love and affection for me clear in her eyes.
"Hell yes. We can name all out kids after your brother. Noah 1, Noah 2, Noah 3, Noah 4, Noah 5, Noah 6, Noah 7, Noah 8 –" My happy rambling was cut off by a pair of sweetest lips locking mine into an electrifying kiss.
"Oh no, I planned a lot for this proposal and it was so absurd and un-special. " I said looking at the fully decorated café and large bouquet of flowers I prepared to give her.
"God, you talk too much." She said and claimed my lips into an intense kiss again which just got me all heated up.
Thank you destiny for bringing her into my life and making it special. I promise to myself and the heavens that I would take care of her like a loyal servant and love her like a no other did to anyone.
