Sienna Point of View

Life is such an unpredictable play, one cannot expect the next move which might sail you or drown you. You just have to wait for that moment to find out.

When I thought 'this is it, there are no more waves coming to crash me,' the silence only gives me the taste of a storm.

"Sienna, what are you doing here? You need to get your touchup before going to the aisle." Val ran towards me with a mobile phone in one hand and a pair golden high heels in another.

The talking between both the men stopped abruptly and suddenly turned towards me with a alarmed face. Val came towards me smiling and turned towards both the men and gasped in horror. Her face turned pale and eyes twitched from me to the men in urgency.

"Sienna, what are you doing – " Mr. Giant started coming towards me and Val tried to pull me from there but I am not going to let this go.

What is that, that I don't know and this heartless person, Paolo knows?

What is it that Val is in such despair?

Why is Mr. Giant looking at me with such fear in his eyes?

What is happening here?

Why can't Mr. Giant marry me?

"Why?" I whispered, walking slowly towards Paolo. I didn't want to meet this monster. I don't even want to see him ever because he was the cause for my present condition.

Paolo was the main reason of my misery and he is the most cruel person I ever came across.

"Why can't he marry me? Because I'm an escort?" I questioned Paolo with shaking tone. Even a small thought of him will get me scared.

"Sienna, let's go" Val took my hand and tried to drag me out from there but I didn't move, adamant enough to know what exactly was going on.

"Sienna – " Mr. Giant came towards me with scared look "He – He's just kidding, Lilliput. He doesn't mean it." He said softly squeezing my hand and signing Val to take me out from there.

"No Val, I want to know how you both know this person?" I demanded, getting desperate to know the answer.

Mr. Giant is an arrogant jerk, I agree but how come he is in acquaintance with such a cruel person.

"Sienna, he is just no one. Why do you care, come let's go; it's time for your wedding. Leo, you too get on the dais and wait for us." Val said urgently and turned grim when talking to Mr. Giant.

"This no one, you are referring to destroyed my whole life, Val. He was the cruel monster who shot my brother. He was the heartless person who threw me in the escort house without a second thought and you are telling me he is no one important to you all?" I yelled and cried out all the pain that erupted from seeing the face of this nasty person. Paolo gulped in nervousness and looked towards both the brother and sister.

I'm sure these brother and sister are hiding something from me. If it was something related to their family, then I wouldn't care but somehow I know it's related to me.

I want to know what it is that made both the siblings scared.

What is it?

"Mr. Giant was never the truthful person so I want to know from you, Val. How are you associated with Paolo." I asked shaking her by her shoulders. Val's face went pale and she opened and closed her mouth not knowing what to say. She had tears in her eyes and trying to cover them up with a brave nonchalant front.

"He... he was really no one, Sienna. He... is... he... my lover." She prompted suddenly but I don't believe her.

No, he is not your lover, Val. I know very little about you but I do know you.

He is definitely not your lover.

"He's my lover and cheating on me. So... So, Leo was warning him." Before I say anything, Val said and linked her arm into mine and dragged me towards the door but when I turned back and looked at the men sweating profusely in anxiety and looking at the file that Mr. Giant was holding, I knew few of my answers will be in that file.

I jilted her arm from mine and ran towards Mr. Giant, snatching the file from him.

"WHT THE-" Mr. Giant yelled in aggravation and that petrified look was back on his face.

"I know he is not any of your lover, Val. I will know what this is all about." Mr. giant tried to take away the file from me but I turned away before he could touch and ran from there.

Mr. Giant immediately caught up in front of the Dais and tried to snatch back the file away. We were pulling and pushing the file and suddenly all the papers from the file got loose and fell around us.

I bent down to quickly retrieve the papers but what shocked me the most was...

They have pictures of me and my brother Noah together. Few papers contains complete details of my brother.

Why do they have my brother's details?

I picked a couple of those informative sheets and started reading them.

Name : Noah Thomas

Date of death : Feb 2, 2011

Work History : Last worked as PA to Leonardo Bianchi.

Bi-Bianchi?

He worked as a PA to Leonardo Bianchi?

I never knew Noah worked for Bianchi's as he was always secretive about his work. He used to get paid handsomely so I never took interest in knowing about his work but how come he became a PA when he was only high school graduate?

I know Mr. Giant's unusual demanding nature and know he would never let the under-qualified get under his roof, then how come Noah got to be a PA?

I took another couple of papers and looked through them. Val was tearing up silently looking defeated before Mr. Giant. By now Phoebe and Niccolo also came to the garden from inside and was trying to gauge what is happening here.

'Noah Thomas was ordered to be shot to death for working for the rival team and being snoopy around the company files.'

Ordered?

He was ordered to be shot?

So, Paolo was ordered to kill my brother?

Tears gushed from my eyes at what I am reading right now. My brother... my brother was backstabbing the company he was working for?

"He can't betray – No he can't. I know him and he will never cheat on people. He was known for his loyalty. No, he can't." I said to myself, picking up another paper with my shaky hands and stood up facing Mr. Giant.

"You... ordered Paolo to kill my brother? How could you! How could you be so evil to kill a person. My brother, Noah... he was the most loyal person I ever knew and he could never ever backstab people."

"He Didn't" For the first time I heard Paolo interfering.

"WHAT?" Mr. Giant yelled in disbelief looking confused at Paolo.

"What do you mean he didn't?" Mr. Giant yelled for which Val was biting her lower lip preventing herself from letting her sobs out.

"I'm positive, Mr. Bianchi. Noah Thomas never betrayed us six years ago. We m-misunderstood him. He was secretive because he was investigating something important for your father." Paolo's statement shook the ground below my feet and I fell on my knees howling out loud in pain.

"NOAH!!!" I screamed out in pain and cried loudly, punching the ground with my fist in anger and despair.

Noah was shot to death without any justification!

WHY?

WHY DID IT ONLY HAPPENED TO US, NOAH?

WHY?!
