Ɓy noon the next day, they approached Luke's academy. It was a large stone building, positioned on a wide ledge on the side of the mountain. The space was filled with boulders, but the ground was carpeted with vibrant green grass. It was a beautiful day, but they couldn't see anyone outside. Ben thought that was strange, it was filled with young boys and the area was usually filled with activity. Normally the sound of swords clashing could be heard from a distance, but he heard only the whipping of the mountain wind.

"Is it usually so quiet?" Finn asked Ben.

"No," he replied in a low voice.

"I don't like it," Poe whispered.

"Me either," Ben replied.

"Look," Rey said, pointing at the door of the academy.

Ben looked in the direction that she was pointing and saw two guards standing on either side of the door.

"Do they usually post guards at the door?" Rey asked.

"No," he answered gravely. "And those aren't just guards, they're Snoke's soldiers."

"Do you think Snoke is holding them here?" Poe asked.

"It seems that way," Ben answered.

"What should we do?" Rose asked.

"I have an idea," Ben replied. "This far in the mountains, they probably don't know that I've betrayed Snoke. Maybe I can get us in without any trouble. But just incase, Rey, Finn, Rose and Poe, could you slip in through the small wooden door in the back? It leads to the kitchen and it's most likely unguarded. If there is a guard, it'll only be one, and I know that the four of you can handle that. I'll go through the main gate and hopefully, they haven't heard what happened and I'll be able to get in."

"I'm coming with you," Rey said stubbornly.

"Rey..." he began.

"What if they try to kill you? At least if I'm there be it will two against four instead of one against four, I know how to use a sword, I'm not helpless I've been fighting for survival since I was seven," she interrupted.

"Rey, I don't want you to get hurt."

"I fought four bandits alone when I was fifteen, I can take care of myself," she replied.

"So can I."

"But you don't have to," she said.

"Neither do you," he sighed, giving in. He had learned from his parents that it was better to surrender while he still had a chance. Not doing so was usually got his father into trouble. And he knew how Rey was, if he told her not to come, she'd probably just follow him. "Fine you can come with me. Here, take my extra sword." He pulled a sword from his saddle pack and passed it to her.

She smiled and accepted it, then they both road towards the front gate of the academy.

Once they were out of earshot, Poe shook his head. "Love birds," he said.

Finn nodded and dismounted. "Yeah, they can't deny that they've fallen in love with each other for sure." He went over to Rose and assisted her out of the saddle. Then he offered his hand to her, she smiled as she accepted it and they began to walk quietly towards the back door.

Poe patted his horse, a painted stallion. "We're surrounded, buddy," he whispered. Then he dismounted and went over to join Finn and Rose.

Rey road behind Ben as he approached the front door of the academy. He halted and she drew in her reins as she came up next to him. He dismounted and she followed him. Then he walked up to the door and the guards saluted him. She breathed a deep sigh of relief; they didn't know about his betrayal to Snoke.

"Kylo Ren, what brings you here?" one of the guards asked.

"Snoke sent me. I need to see Luke, he has information that we need," he answered.

The guard nodded.

"And who is this beautiful young lady?" one of the other guards asked.

Ben thought for a moment, he could just say that she was one of Snoke's soldiers; there were women in Snoke's ranks. But he knew that if he didn't lay claim on her the other men would probably try to claim her for themselves. It wasn't that he didn't trust Rey, it was that he didn't trust Snoke's soldiers.

"She's my wife, I met her when I attacked her village, and I ended up falling in love with her." He reached over and took her hand. It wasn't completely a lie, he had met her when he attacked her village, he just didn't tell them the details of what had happened in between.

"Wow, I never thought that you would get married Ren," the guard answered.

"I'm surprised that she agreed to marry you after you attacked her village," another added.

"She's very forgiving," Ben said and Rey smiled at him.

"Well he did spare me and he was wounded so I took pity on him, " she said.

"That's lucky. Maybe one day I'll get wounded and a beautiful girl will fall in love with me as well, " said the guard.

Ben nodded. "Maybe one day."

"But I thought that Snoke didn't allow marriage, " the other guard said.

"Well, this is our lives we should be able to live them, " Ben replied. "He doesn't have to know."

"Good point, " the guard agreed. "Maybe I should go find myself a wife."

Ben nodded. "That sounds like a good plan."

One of the guards opened the doors of the academy and let them go inside. Ben looked around there were young boys ranging from seven to eighteen sitting on the floor. They seemed to be afraid to move, and with good reason the room was filled with armed guards. Some of them had whips and Ben knew that they probably used them to keep the boys from escaping. They had to get them out of here.

In the corner Ben saw his uncle sitting in a wooden chair. He wove his way through the crowded floor to where his uncle was sitting.

Luke looked up as he heard someone approaching. He seemed surprised to see his nephew, but there was also worry and grief in his eyes as well. "Ben, please come back home. I know that your mother would forgive you."

Ben didn't answer, there were guards everywhere. "You have information that I need," he said at last.

"Well, I'm not going to give it to you," his uncle replied stubbornly.

Ben smirked, "we shall see." He turned to one of the guards. "I need to speak to him alone."

The guard nodded, not wanting to disagree with Kylo Ren.

"Come with me," he said grabbing Luke's arm. He gestured for Rey to follow them, not wanting to leave her alone with all of these guards around. He led Luke into a small side room and locked the door.

Luke opened his mouth to speak, but before he had the chance, Ben pulled him into a hug. "I'm sorry for everything, uncle."

Luke looked at him for a moment. "You've come back?"

Ben nodded.

Luke hugged him. "I hoped that you would."

Luke looked at Rey and smirked. "Who's the girl?" he said teasingly.

Ben blushed. "She's my wife," he said a little shyly.

Luke smiled. "You got married?"

Rey and Ben both nodded.

"Congratulations!" He pulled them both into a hug.

"Thank you Uncle Luke, my parents sent us here to find you, we didn't know that you being held prisoner."

"You should have known, what else would have kept me from coming to your wedding?"

"Well, it was a bit of a short notice," Ben replied. "But I did grow concerned when you didn't attend the annual celebration at the beginning of summer."

Luke nodded. "So do you have a plan kid, because I don't think that the two of you will be enough to get us out of here."

"It isn't just us, three of our friends came in through the back door. And as far as a plan goes... I'm just making this up as I go," Ben answered.

Luke shook his head, "you sound just like your father."
