Viridian Outskirts, Kanto Region,
It was early afternoon and the sun was shinning very brightly. The weather was warm along with slight breeze. A teenage boy of about 15 years, named Ash Ketchum with raven hair and auburn eyes along with a Pikachu on his shoulder was heading towards Pallet Town. He had just bid farewell to his best friend Brock Harrison as his journey to beat the Battle Frontier in Kanto along with the Maple siblings that is May and Max had come to an end.
Brock, being his oldest travelling companion since his journey of becoming a Pokemon Master had started was just like an elder brother who he never had. Brock had taught him so many things including cooking food, preparing Pokemon food and Medicines during their journey through Kanto, Johto and Hoenn, also not to forget the re-journey in Kanto for the Battle Frontier challenge. He was sure going to miss Brock.
He was so happy and delighted on the fact that he had just defeated the Pyramid King, Brandon and won the Battle Frontier challenge. He was also the first trainer ever to defeat the Kanto Battle Frontier. He had also bid farewell to his friends May and Max a few days ago. They both were like younger siblings to him and he had enjoyed a lot travelling with them through Hoenn and Kanto.
"Pikachu! We are almost home I can see Pallet town down there from here." the raven-haired trainer exclaimed to his partner getting excited. "Pika Pi" it cried happily.
Suddenly Ash stopped as he was surprised to see a familiar face with spiky brown hair who was wearing a lab coat. "Gary!" he exclaimed getting excited to see his former rival and friend after a long time.
"Hey Ashy Boy! long time no see, gramps just told me that you have won the Kanto Battle Frontier. Congrats!" his former rival exclaimed congratulating him.

"Gee, Thanks Gary. Bye the way what are you doing here?" he inquired while getting a little annoyed by that nickname.
"Oh, I just returned from Sinnoh yesterday. I am working as an assistant for Professor Rowan travelling Sinnoh and doing research on different evolutionary processes and stones required from them." Gary explained.
"The Sinnoh Region? I have never heard about it before." Ash said looking a bit confused and amused by the name of a new region.
"The Sinnoh Region is a whole different place which is located towards the north of Kanto. It has lots of new Pokemon which you might have not seen before, also the League there is pretty famous because it has the toughest Elite Four and the Champion!" Gary exclaimed while explaining about the new region to his former rival.
"Sinnoh sure sounds pretty good." Ash said as the words 'League' 'Elite Four' and 'Champion' had triggered his attention. "Hey Gary can we have a Pokemon battle, it has been a long time since we had one?" Ash asked his former rival.
"Why not Ash, it has been a long time and I have to see how strong have you gotten in these years. Is a one-on-one battle okay?" Gary asked.
"Fine by me. Pikachu get ready for the battle." Ash yelled confidently as he chose Pikachu for the battle.
"Same old Ash. Electivire let's rock!" Gary throwed his Pokeball revealing a yellow colored Pokemon with black stripes and some sort of wires coming out of its back. It looked somewhat similar to Electabuzz.
"Hey Gary who's this Pokemon? I haven't seen it before but it looks somewhat like an Electabuzz." Ash asked
"This is an Electivire, the evolved form of Electabuzz. It evolves from Electabuzz when it is traded holding an Electrizer which is an item native to the Sinnoh region." Gary explained Ash about his Pokemon.

"Oh, I see Sinnoh sure is an interesting place. Let's start the battle. Pikachu start off with Quick attack." Ash ordered as Pikachu began to glow slightly as it charged quickly towards Electivire.
"Electivire wait for the right moment and stop it with Brick Break." he ordered. It did as Gary ordered, as Pikachu was about to jump on Electivire, it intercepted the attack with Brick Break and Pikachu collapsed on the ground with a direct hit.
"Electivire use Thunderpunch." Gary ordered. "Pikachu use Iron Tail to dodge it." Ash quickly ordered. As Electivire was about to hit Pikachu with its Thunderpunch Pikachu got up and intercepted it with Iron Tail causing collision of both the attacks and a cloud of smoke had formed.
"Pikachu are you alright?" Ash asked getting a little worried as the smoke cleared. "Pika Pi." It assured. "Alright Pikachu use Volt Tackle."
"Electivire you use Take Down." Pikachu started running as it began to glow yellow as Electivire charged towards it to use Take Down. Both the attacks collided again this time causing a huge explosion.
As the smoke cleared both the Pokemon were still standing but Pikachu looked a little bit worn out and Electivire looked as if it hadn't taken any damage. "Pikachu use Thunder to finish this off." Ash commanded
Gary just stood smirking without ordering Electivire to dodge or do something. Ash was a little bit surprised by Gary's casualness as he just ordered Pikachu to use one of its most powerful attack. Pikachu leaped forward and charged a super powerful electric attack.
Ash was just shocked. He couldn't believe what was happening. Electivire just stood there rolling his arms absorbing the attack. As the attack ended it looked as if Electivire got better. "How is it possible!" Ash exclaimed shocked.
"Ashy Boy, its Electivire's special ability known as 'motor drive', if it is attacked by any electric attacks then it's speed and attack increases and does not cause any damage." Gary explained.
"Great! now we can't use any electric attacks." Ash exclaimed getting a bit of irritated. "Pikachu now sprint forward and use Iron Tail." Ash ordered as Pikachu began to sprint towards Electivire.
"Electivire now get hold of Pikachu using your wires and finish it off with Thunder." Gary ordered coolly. Ash's eyes widened in shock as Electivire grabbed hold of Pikachu and charged a super poweful Thunder attack on it.
"Pikachu, No!" Ash yelled in horror as Pikachu collapsed on the ground unable to battle.

Makemake
"Makemake—a planet that is found in the far edges of the system known as Sol—was once a metropolis, like all of the other planets that populate the system. Now, like all of the others, it lies as a Sleeping City, forever dormant. No one lives there anymore—it has been vacant for years. In one of the massive cities that used to have a population that was in high numbers a sound could be heard. A distant sound. A beep, or a call, a message—whatever it was, it was an electronic noise.
