"FULL POWER!" the kid in a blue T-Shirt yells, at the peak of his voice, commanding his partner Pokémon, the yellow electric mouse, Pikachu. A yellow ball of lighting was covering Pikachu, as he unleashed a jolt of high electricity onto the Island Guardian of Mele Mele Island, Tapu KoKo. Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town, was fighting for this dream since he was ten and finally, it seemed to have been achieved.

Far away in a big mansion in the Hoenn region, a girl smiled looking at the TV. She pulls her hand close to her chest and touches the blue ribbon, that had been gifted to her. While a frog-like bipedal meditating Pokémon opens its eyes on sensing the event.

Three days later, Ash Ketchum, the new champion of the Alola region, was walking through the forests of Kanto, going back to his home with the Champion Trophy in his hands. As he reached Viridian city, he sees a vaguely bright Pokémon flying through the skies of the Kanto region. The bright white and blue Pokémon eyed Ash but flew away as Ash noticed it. Ash turns towards Pikachu and looks back at the sky.

"Weird isn't it buddy? When we first started our journey, we saw Ho-Oh and now it's Lugia, both the Legendary Pokémon said to roam the skies of the Johto region. Maybe it's the start of something new!" Ash says clenching his fist in excitement and walking straight ahead.

Three days later, Ash woke up in an amazing mood and ran down the stairs. He looked back at his Kalos Outfit, which his mother fixed for him. Ash then looked at the five Pokéballs that were lying on the table. Just then, Ash heard a knock on the door. Ash runs to it and opens it to welcome his friend, Brock.

"So we doin' it again huh buddy?" Brock says looking at Ash. It's been a long time since they both travelled together on journeys. But, all of them were confined to a region, unlike this time, now it's a big trip around the globe.

"You bet!" Ash says with excitement and his traditional goofy smile.

Ash and Brock had breakfast at The Ketchum Residence and got ready to leave. Before the two left for the journey, Professor Oak arrived to talk to Ash and hand him a new Pokédex, also called the International Dex. Ash then looks at the five Pokéballs and then at Pikachu, "so, back at it with you guys again," he chuckles.

: A few days later :

"Pikachu! Electro Ball!" Ash yells, screaming at the top of his voice as Pikachu lands its final attack on the Mega Gyrados of the Champion of Kanto and Johto, Lance. With one final blow, the Mega Gyrados turns back into a Gyrados and faints, while Pikachu was barely standing there smirking.

"Here we have it! The new Champion of the Kanto and the Johto regions, Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!" the referee announces. Many familiar faces were watching the TV, rooting for their friend. He was one step closer to his goal.

Two days later, Ash and Brock, boarded their planes to the Hoenn region. This time Ash was going there with two goals in his mind, win the region and meet Serena. But to his dismay, the two didn't cross paths. Ash went on to defeat the Champions of Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. But before he could proceed to Kalos duty calls and he had to mask the Ultra Guardian outfit. The two friends part ways in Unova, with Brock heading back home to take back the title of the Pewter City Gym leader and Ash dawning the Ultra Guardian outfit.

As he lands in Alola, he encountered a guy called Goh in the airport, he was running around with a rabbit-like bipedal Pokémon.
