Kristen

I was dragged once more into the cell against my will. My body ached from the brutal beating I had received last night. All through the night my uncle and Steven laughed as they sent blows my way. My wolf howled in pain because of the pain inflicted on us and the pain of being away from our mates.

"You dumb child I can not believe you thought we would make everything so easy for you," he chuckled

"You're an asshole you know that," I spat

"Watch your mouth when you speak to me. You foolish girl!" He spat as his hand made contact with the left side of my face. "Let me see if you're so strong when wolfsbane is running through your veins."

He picked up a syringe and walked to me. I closed my eyes readying myself for the small pinch of the needle, but it didn't come because a young boy came running towards us.

"Sir," he said

"What?" My uncle turned to face the boy who had interrupted him

"They are here," he said

My uncle nodded and turned to me with a grin, "guess your little mates couldn't bare to stay away from you for so long," he turned to the rogues. "It's time for the show to begin. Let's go. And you," he pointed at a rouge. "Put her inside the cell. Don't let her out this time." The rouge nodded.

He took one more glance my way then he turned away and walked out the room. The rouge began to drag me to the cell. I waited until the footsteps had faded away before I began to escape.

The guy had no experience fighting making my escape ten times easier. I didn't kill him I just bashed his head in knocking him out cold. Knowing that the wolfsbane that had inserted in me a few hours ago had wore ofoff I knew all my powers were back. Thank goodness for that one.

'Hunter where are you?'

'Kristen is that you?'

'Yes. What is happening?'

'We're coming to save you're’

'We?' I asked

'Yes all the warriors of both packs,' he said

'I'm able to escape now. My uncle has left and the rouge that was left with me is unconscious'

'Okay. We are in the west side of the building be careful' he said

'I will don't worry' I said as I looked once more to the rouge. Teleporting to the place that Hunter said. I never realize how gruesome the scene would be.

Dead bodies were everywhere blood tainted the grass a deep red and the smell of sweat and the sound of a thousand snarling wolves filled the air.

Finding Hunter I ran to him and fought by his side. Using the powers I had and my strength I began to help.

Many of the rouge had not yet been trained to fight against more skillful adversaries giving us an upper hand in this war.

I won't lie they have a lot of confidence and determination, but it won't help them at the end. I'm pretty sure most soon will realize there is no point in fighting for everyone of us that fell twenty of them did.

My uncle didn't put much thought in training them. I'm sure he thought that the numbers would be more important considering it was ten of them for every one of us.

Yet he missed one important fact. We are stronger, better and by far more intelligent than all of these rogues combined. And we won't stop till everyone of them knows the error of their ways.

Jake howled asking for help and seeing as Hunter was doing really well I left to help him. Three wolves had surrounded Jake, making it an uneven fight. I growled at them and attacked one from behind I was able to help Jake attacked the closest to him as I began to start with the second.

I didn't play around I aimed to kill. All that went through my mind is protect my pack and get revenge on those who caused not just harm to me, but to my family and every other family that must have passed through the same pain of losing one of their own because of these blood thirsty imbeciles.

Hunter

Knowing that Kristen was safe and now fighting at my side comforted me. Now I had to concentrate on trying to end the menace that these rogues were to not just us, but the entire wolf existence.

Kristen left my side to go help Jake who was being attacked by three rogues at once. I ran to go help Roy after seeing he was having trouble with some of the wolves.

Fighting side by side with my old friend I didn't expect what came next. Everything happened so fast all that I could remember was Roy in his human form pushing me away. The sound of two bullets fired the thump of a body hitting the floor and my eyes only seeing red. I ripped the head of the once that shot. Turning into my human for and slipping some shorts on I ran to my friend.

I thought he would be okay but as I got closer the smell of strong poison mixed with wolfsbane made me think twice. Roy laid on the grass a bullet wound had hit his chest near the heart and the other had hit his stomach.

Falling to the floor I grabbed hold of his hand. Tears began to fall as I saw him gasping for air.

"Everything is going to be okay buddy you'll see," I said but I didn't know if it was to comfort him or myself.

Roy shook his head he knew he was done for. He gave me a sad smile, "call Kristen," he pleaded.

I nodded and mind linked her. In a few seconds she was at my side dressed in some jeans and a t-shirt. I know she didn't expect to see this all I said to her was it was urgent. Falling to her knees she grabbed hold of Roy's hand as tears began to fall down her cheeks.

Kristen

When Hunter mine linked me I thought he needed help with some rogues. Or maybe that he had found my uncle or Steven. I never thought I would actually see such a horrible scene. My heart shattered as I saw Roy laying on the ground. Seeing his blood stained chest. Seeing him so broken and hurt.

It hurt to feel him dying it hurt to see him giving up.

"R-Roy e-everything is going to be okay," I croaked. I wanted him to believe it I wanted to make myself believe it but I couldn't.

Roy shook his head and touched my cheek, "i-it's okay Kristen," he said with a small smile.

Tears began to flow out and I could not stop them "it's not okay!" I yelled. "You were not supposed to get hurt. You were supposed to be fine. We were supposed to win this fight and live our lives and be happy..."

"And do what kristen?" He shook his head. "Watch you choose one of us as the other gets hurt? Do you think it will be fine if one is hurting, but has to presented to be happy for his mate it's not Kristen."

I was speechless I never thought Roy would say this. He might have thought it, but it really surprises me.

"I can help you Roy," I said or at least my grandmother can.

He shook his head, "this has to happen Kristen," he said as he ran a hand down my face and smiled at me. "This must be a sacrifice in order to be happy Kristen."

"No no no," I shook my head. "Shut up don't say that!"

"Kristen listen to me!" He grabbed my hand. "I love you and I want you to be happy even if that happiness doesn't involve me."

I began to sob hearing his words, "I love you too Roy," I whispered as I hugged him tight.

"I need you to make me two promises," he said I nodded.

"First I need you to take care of my pack"

"Promise," I said

"Okay," he kissed my forehead passing the power to me.

"What is the second promise?" I asked.

"I want you and Hunter to be happy together. And to remember that even in your worst days you will always have each other," he said with a sad smile.

"I promise," I croaked.

"Thank you," he turned to Hunter. "And you," he pointed, "make her happy and don't ever lose her again."

Hunter nodded and took hold of his friends outstretched hand, "I promise my friend," he said as his voice cracked and a tear slipped.

"You're crying Hunter?" Roy chuckled. "Alphas don't cry man up and stop being a girl."

Hunter smiled "I will miss your playful insults, Roy"

"Don't get emotional with me," Roy chuckled. "Plus I know you will always miss all of this." Roy said as he presented himself.

Hunter chuckled and looked away trying to hide the tears that began to fall.

"Kristen," Roy said

"Yeah"

"Can I have one more kiss," he said with a sad smile.

I nodded and leaned in our lips moved in sync. I put all my emotions into that kiss as tears began to flow. My heart ached and a stab of pain passed through my entire body. My wolf howled in pain feeling and seeing her mate die.

"I will miss those lips. And your beautiful deep blue eyes that I always got lost in," Roy said as he wiped a tear from my cheek.

Roy's breathing became slow and deeper. He began to gasp for air and all I could do was watch as he began to take his final gasps of air.

"I love you Roy," I said as I began to sob.

"I love you too Kristen," he whispered as his eyes began to close and his hand fell.

His breathing stopped and his body became stiff. Hunter began to yell profanities into the sky. While all I could do was hold Roy's lifeless body close to me. As if by doing so he would come back. I howled in pain and soon after everyone in Roy's pack and in Hunters pack joined in.

They felt the loss of a great leader, a great friend and for me a perfect mate.

Hunter hugged me tight as we both sobbed for the lose of a loved one.

"They will pay," Hunter said as he held me close. "They will all pay."

And he was right Roy's death will not be in vain. I will avenge his death and see to it that every rogue dies a slow and painful death. And most importantly that my uncle and Steven feel the wrath of the white wolf. They have no idea who they are messing with. And now that they have taken one of the mates from my wolf all she wants now is a blood bath and to be honest so do I.

"Everything will be okay baby," Hunter cooed.

I shook my head, "it will be okay when the blood of the guilty taints the floor and their please fill the air," I growled.

Hunter moved back as the raging fire in me began to grow. My hair once more became a fiery red and my hands became hot as coals.

Standing up I marched to the big metal doors. Ripping apart every rouge that crossed my path. I Will have no mercy for any of these worthless wolves just like they didn't have mercy for my mother or Roy.

Giving order to both packs to kill without mercy I burst through the doors of the building with only one person in my mind. The leader of all these abominations. I will leave my uncle to my father knowing that it's his wish to kill the man who took his mate away. But I rather go for a bigger fish of my own. Before this day comes to an end the blood of Steven will be on my hands. And his head will be hanged for all to see that they should never mess with my packs or me.
