《His painful rejection》Chapter 13 A night to forget

I sat on the bed as I waited for them to call. Hunter hadn’t come back yet guessing he’s still looking out there for me. Serves that two face fucking cheater hadn’t it been enough that my first mate rejected me now I had to face another rejection. Fate truly sucks I got stuck with two mates that think with their head down below then there head on their shoulders. But hey serves me right for trusting right.
My phone rang indicating I had a message.
‘I’m outside come out’
I texted a quick reply and jumped out the window. I’m sure if I went through the front door somebody would mind link Hunter that I was back.
I walked for a few more minutes until I saw the familiar red mustang. The person leaning on the car smiled and waved my way. I gave a small weak smile and waved back.
They engulfed me in a comfortable hug one that I truly needed right about now.
“So what’s up?” they asked.
“My fucked up life is what’s up,” I responded with a sigh.
“How about we go somewhere so we can talk about it?” they asked.
I nodded and entered the car.
.
.
.
We arrived at a small café that still amazingly was open at this time at night. Ordering our coffees we went and found a nice place to sit far away from any curious person who tried to eavesdrop.
“Okay spill it,” they said.
“Well, with what can I start with Rick?” I said.
“From the beginning,” he said with a small smile.
Rick was an old friend that I had met a year after I had arrived at Hunters pack. He was my best friend the person I could count on the most when I needed it. He knew what to do when I needed to feel better. He knew me like the back of his hand, and knew what I wanted or what I felt just by my actions and expressions. He was a troublemaker, but fun to be around with. He is the only person I can trust in in these situations.
“Come on you know you can trust me,” he said as he took my hand in his.
I gave him a small smile and nodded. I took in a deep breath and began to tell him everything. From Roy trying to get me back to finding Hunter exchanging saliva with some slut. Well not any slut, the one who made my life a living hell.
“So he cheats on you in your two year anniversary?” Rick asks amazed as he takes another sip from his coffee.
I nod my head, “Yeah and to top it off he thinks he can explain to me why. I don’t need an explanation what I saw was it. It broke my heart you know,” I sat back and bit my lip as I felt the all so familiar sting of tears threatening to make an appearance.
“Hey, hey, there okay don’t cry,” Rick said as he stood up and gave me a hug.
“No it's not okay,” I shook my head. “It hurts Rick I never expected him to hurt me that way I thought I would be happy with him that we could have a future but he hurt me just the way Roy did. What wrong with me am I not pretty enough am I not good enough,” I sobbed into his shoulder.

“Hey, don’t say that you are beautiful,” he pulled away and wiped my tears and looked me straight in the eyes. “You are good enough.”
“Well, I don’t feel like it I feel like complete and total crap,” I said as I looked down at my folded hands on my lap. “I feel like I'm always going to be everyone's last choice. Never the first nor the second, but always the last.”
“You'll always be my first choice Kristen,” he said with a smile of encouragement.
“You say that just to make me feel better,” I said with a sigh
He frowned and looked at me. He gave me a smile that soon turned to a grin a small glint in his eyes told me he had something planned.
“Well we don’t want you to feel like crap how about we do what we usually do to get our minds off of things,” he grinned.
I thought for a moment and the same grin appeared on my lips. I nodded and we were off.

Sitting at the front seat behind the wheel of a beautiful black Ferrari was an amazing feeling. Rick was next to me in a beautiful red Ferrari with a wolf painted on the hood. We were currently waiting for the red light to turn green.
You see this is what I usually would do to keep my mind off of problems I love racing the adrenaline the heart pounding, and ecstatic feeling was just amazing. Being a werewolf made me a speed loving person. I could label myself as an adrenaline junkie. And Rick, he was no different from me.
I turned to look at Rick who held a huge smirk he saluted me and I nodded his way.
The light turn green and the race was on turning streets, taking speedy decisions and a little drifting here and there made me feel ecstatic. Seeing the needle move from zero to a hundred in a matter of seconds made me laugh with pleasure.
I was screaming at the top of my lungs as I passed Rick. Only the engines of both cars could be heard as we went head to head. My heartbeat quickened, and my knuckles turned a ghostly white as I held onto the wheel with a tight grip.
As we neared our destination I couldn’t help but step on the gas even more than I should leaving an angry Rick behind. With a drift to the side I parked the car perfectly.
I hopped out of the car as I waited for him. As he parked and got out I couldn’t help but laugh at his angry face. You see Rick is a sore loser he hates to lose against people especially if it’s a girl.
“How did you like eating my dust,” I asked with a smirk.
He glared at me causing me to laugh.
“Lucky chance,” he mumbled.
“I don’t think it’s a lucky chance I have beat you many times before,” I grinned.
“Shut up,” he hissed.
“Why cause it's true,” I smirked.
“Show of,” he mumbled.
This indeed caused me to giggle at his behalf.
“Okay are we going in or not?” he asked as I composed myself.
I nodded as we walked into the Bar. This place is only for werewolves hidden from humans a place where we could be ourselves.

“Hurry up with the paint will you,” I slurred yup you heard me slurred after we entered the bar we thought why not a few drinks a few drinks turned into a lot and a lot into bottles of them.
“Wait up,” Rick slurred at my side as we spray painted a cop car.
Yeah not the best idea but hey we’re drunk, and we saw the car. The cop was inside the small coffee shop I’m guessing getting some coffee and doughnuts, or whatever they get and well we had some spray paint in the cars so we decided why not.
Rick handed me the pink spray paint as he had finished with his master piece which was a weird looking tagging I didn’t understand but I shrugged my shoulders and painted a unicorn. I wouldn’t normal paint something like this but I’m drunk and I’m hardly thinking at all.
We stepped back as we admired our beautiful creation we had done this to a few other cars and the wall next to the café.
The jingle of the café door being open made us look up the cop had come out with his coffee when he saw us he dropped it and looked at his car. Anger was shown as he took in the scene before him.
We laughed uncontrollable at his reaction. The cop ran to us yelling for us to freeze I laughed as he ran Rick pulled at my arm indicating it was time to go I turned only to trip over my own two feet. I laughed as I hit the floor when you’re drunk you feel nothing but believe me I’m sure it’s going to hurt like a bitch in the morning.
Rick laughed as he saw me on the floor he tried to pick me up only to fall himself. We laughed at each other only to be pushed to the floor and handcuffs being put around our wrists. The cop pushed us inside the car as Rick and I laughed our asses of. Yes we’re stupid, but alcohol causes you to not thinking straight, remember?
The cop yelled at us as we continued with our crazy laughter. We were dragged inside the station and thrown into a cell. The cop left I’m guessing to do some paperwork.
“So enjoying your night,” Rick slurred as he sat next to me.
“Yup especially when you sang to wrecking ball in the Bar,” I said as I laughed.
“Shh don’t tell anyone,” Rick chuckled.
We sat there laughing at what we had done in the bar.
Rick had gotten on one of the pool tables and had sat on one of the lights that illuminated the table it just so happened that wrecking ball by Miley Cyrus had gone on and as Rick swung from the light I began to throw some money at him as he sang to the song. Even the memory made me laugh.
The cop appeared a few minutes later telling us that we had been bailed out. I jumped up and helped Rick up seeing he was way more drunk than me.
“By whom?” I asked the cop as I giggled seeing how Rick couldn’t even stand on his own two feet.
“By me,” a voice said with a growl.
I turned to see who had said that. I glared as I made eye contact with them. I can be drunk but I have not forgetting what they did.
Hunter stood there with his arms crossed over his chest a death glare was directed at Rick, who now leaned on the cell bars to stay balanced.
“Oh ooh big bad Alpha isn’t happy,” Rick chuckled as he almost fell over.
I giggled as I saw Rick try to gain his balance back. I turned when another growl was heard this time from Roy he stood next to Hunter.
“Jake, Jace,” Hunter called.
“Yes alpha,” they responded in union.
“Take Rick and put him in the car I’ll take Kristen,” he said as he glared at us.
“Yes Alpha,” they said as they began to pick up Rick who now laid on the floor.
I turned to see Hunter and Roy glaring at us both. I glared back at them.
“We’re in trouble,” Rick chuckled I’m guessing he hadn’t noticed complete everyone who was here.
“I believe we are,” I glared. “And look at that both my mates are here,” I hissed.
“What!” Hunter yelled.
Oh ooh I’m in deep shit now. I forgot that I hadn’t told them about Roy yet. Stupid alcohol I hate what it does to me. Now how the fuck am I supposed to fix this mess. Maybe you wouldn't be in this mess if you didn't get drunk off your ass.The women in my head sneered. Shut up!
“Dun dun dun,” Rick said with a chuckle.
I turned to him and I swear if looks could kill he would be buried six feet underground right about now.
“Kristen what do you mean both your mates,” Hunter growled.
I just stared at him wide eyed no words could come out.
“Where is that bastard I'm gonna kill him,” He growled.
I turned to look at Roy who looked like he was about to shit his pants, well get in line bud because I want to shit my pants too.
“Where is he!?” Hunter growled.
I turned to Rick begging for help but he was knocked out now and Jace and Jack just bowed their heads as they felt the power of Hunters voice. I looked everywhere begging for help but found no one to help me out.
I turned and looked at Hunter who’s eyes were now black as he fought to control his wolf.
“Where is he!” he yelled.
My heartbeat quickened my hands clenched and unclenched as I felt the sweat beginning to appear. My breathing became ragged, and quick I began to shake and before I knew it black spots began to appear in my vision. I welcomed the darkness as I fell into unconsciousness.
Last thing I heard was my name and footsteps running my way. All I know is I’m so screwed when I wake up.
