"How is Hümaşah Sultan?" I asked the Hekim as I walk inside Hümaşah Sultan's chamber where she was being treated.

"Sultanam," he bowed. "Thankfully she's out of danger now. She has lost a lot of blood but thank God she was brought here on time. If she was even a minute late, we could've lost her."

"But. . ."

"But what?" I asked as I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Unfortunately the Sultana wouldn't be able to conceive anymore." He replied with his head down.

I nodded with a heavy heart knowing how much it was going to hurt her when she hears it, as I walked towards her bed. She look very pale.

"Osman." She murmured before opening her eyes.

"Sultanam," I walked towards her side. She look at me and suddenly her eyes started to water and she began to cry.

"Halime, I'm so sorry." She cried out. "I couldn't protect Şehzade Osman. They snatched him away from my arms and I couldn't do anything."

"Sultanam, you did your best. You don't have to be sorry. You protected him with your life." I wiped her tears before moving some of her hair away from her face.

"But they took him away." She cried louder. "They took Ayşe, Osman and Ismihan away and I couldn't do anything."

"Osman is here Sultanam." I announced making her stop for a second. "We got him back."

"What about Ayşe and Ismihan?" She asked as she tried to sit, hissing in pain. I helped her sit and put some pillow behind her back for her to sit comfortably.

"They are searching for both of them Sultanam. Don't worry, we have caught both Hafsa and Fatma Sultan. I'm sure Ayşe and Ismihan will be found soon." I reassured her and she nodded.

"Halime," Hümaşah called out after a while and I hummed before facing her. "Is Mehmed. . ."

"He's alive, Sultanam."

"Are you sure?" She asked again with tears forming in her eyes. I nodded before grabbing her and giving it a light squeeze.

"Khanzade Selim Giray came on time." I said and told her the whole story from the begining as she listened patiently.

"Allah şükürler olsun." She whispered as she squeezed my hand with a smile on her face.

"Orhan came." She said and I frowned. "He took Gülbahar with him along with his children."

"What about Latife and Nurbahar?" I asked.

"They're death." She whispered. "He killed everyone. Latife, Nurbahar, Defne and Sadika. All of them are death."

Tears rolled down my eyes as Hümaşah Sultan told me everything that happened there. How that ungrateful, son of a bitch, did there. I swear to God, if that asshole or his bitch appear infront of me I'll torture them and have them stoned to death in the middle of the market.

Ungrateful brat.

How dare they try to kill Hümaşah Sultan. Forgot about her being a member of the dynasty, for fuck sake she's his sister!

But who am I kidding. Orhan is the son of Safiye, the ungrateful women. Her assholes genes runs deep in his blood.

I left Hümaşah Sultan to rest and headed straight to my chamber.

"Gülnihal, how is my Şehzade?" I asked as soon as I entered. Gülnihal was sitting on the couch with Osman in her arms.

I walked towards them and took Osman from her before sitting down beside her.

"He just woke up Sultanam." She replied. I sat down on the couch before breastfeeding him.

"I was so scared when Khanzade Selim Giray came. I thought he was send by Şehzade Orhan to kill everyone of us there." She said.

"And?" I asked.

"And?" She asked in confusion.

"I know you probably did something Gülnihal." I narrowed my eyes at her. "Did you hit the Khanzade?"

"Yes! How did you know!?"

I scoffed. "I saw the wound on the Khanzade forehead which wasn't there before and immediately put two and two together and knew it was you."

"He said when he reached there they were already gone which means one of the girls hit him. And as long as I remember, no girl is as violent as you when you get scared."

I remember the last time she got super scared when she saw a snake when we were outside, she grabbed the sword from one of the guards and immediately killed it screaming like a mad women. Poor snake.

"Sultanam," she let out an unlady like groan making me chuckle. Staying with me has made her forget all the palace manners, not like I care.

Someone knocked on the door and I turn my face away giving my back at the door. "Come."

Esma walked in amd bowed. "Sultanam, Khanzade Selim Giray is waiting for you in the garden."

"Ok, bring my scarf." I said before standing up with Osman in my arms. I gave him to Gülnihal. "Change his clothes and put warm clothes on him, it's cold outside. I don't want him to get sick."

She nodded before taking him inside while I rearranged my clothes and put on my scarf.

I walked out of the chamber with my maids and Gülnihal holding Osman in her arms.

"ATTENTION. HER IMPERIAL MAJESTY HASEKI HALIME SULTAN." The door man announced as soon as I stepped outside.

Khanzade Selim and Yakub Effendi bowed their heads as I walked towards them.

"Sultanam." They said in unison and I nodded.

"Sultanam, I'm honoured that you have asked for me. What can this slave do for you, Your Majesty." Yakub Effendi said as he bowed his head. He didn't dare to look up and face as it was forbidden.

The Ottomans have many rules and one of them were, men cannot look at the face of the women of the Harem or the member of the dynasty. But I already broke it, many times. I mean it's ridiculous.

"Yakub Effendi, your wife use to make strong alcohol and poisons, isn't it?" I asked.

"Evet, Sultanam." He replied, nervously glancing at Khanzade Selim Giray who had his eye brows raised at him. "But that was long time ago, during the reign of Sultan Mustafa Khan. Now, she left that work."

Incase, you didn't know, Mehmed has forbidden the making and using of alcohol.

"Where is she now?" I asked. As long as I remember, she was banished from the capital after an incident.

"Sultanam. . . "

"Effendi." Khanzade Selim said in a stern annoyed tone making Yakub Effendi flinch a little.

"She is in . . . Amasya province, Sultanam. Living with my sister." He stammered.

"Good. Sent a word to her that I have asked for her to return as soon as possible." I ordered.

He nodded and left hurriedly.

"Khanzade, I want you to personally interrogated everyone. I have a feeling that there is a traitor among us." I said to Selim Giray and he nodded as he walked couple of steps behind me.

"You word is my command, Sultanam."

"Any news from Dervish Pasha?" I asked.

"Till now no news, Sultanam. If they don't send any words about the Sultanas soon, I'll go too." He answered and I nodded.

"May Allah protect the Sultanas." I whispered as I look up at the blue sky. Selim Giray replied with an Amin.

Osman sneezed making me turn back to look at him. I took him from Gülnihal. "You can go now Khanzade." I dismissed him and he bowed before walking away and we also walked inside the palace.

"Bring the physician to my chamber. Looks like Osman got cold." I ordered Esma and she nodded and bowed before walking away hurriedly.

"Sultanam," Sumbul agha called out as we near the Harem door.

"Yes, Sumbul. What is it?" I asked with my eyebrows raised. Bringer of bad news.

"Atike Sultan has fallen ill." He announced.
