As we came near the Harem, Sadika Hatun's screaming reached our ears and Mehmed shot me a confused look.

"I'll tell you in our chamber. Just keep walking." I said and he nodded before walking.

"Attention. His Highness Şehzade Mehmed and Halime Sultan." The door man announced and everyone in the Harem lined up as they watch us pass by. The aghas foot whipping Sadika also stopped as we pass by and bowed to us. As soon as we were out of their sighted, they started again.

I felt pity for a moment but again. She actually didn't love Selim. She only wanted to be a Sultana. Because if she truly did love him, she shouldn't have really cared about being a Haseki Sultan and should definitely have been angry on Selim for sleeping with another women.

Mehmed placed me on our bed and I asked Esma to hand Osman to me. Gülnihal and Esma help me remove my scarf and hair pins while I breastfeed my baby and Mehmed went to change his clothes.

"Sultanam," Gülnihal called out and I hummed.

"I overheard Gülbahar Hatun cursing you out and our Şehzade Osman." She said and I turn my head back to face her.

"Really? What was she saying." I asked.

"Yes, Sultanam. She said you were nothing infront of her and when she gives birth to a Şehzade and become a Sultana, she'll kill our Şehzade Osman and you." Gülnihal explained with a scowl on her friends and I chuckled.

"Give your order Sultanam and we'll beat her up. She won't even dare to say anything like that in the future." Gülnihal said but I shook my head at her with a smile on my face. Loyalty. That's what I wanted and that's what I got.

"No, Gülnihal. I'll handle her myself. Just keep an eye on her and report her every move to me."

She nodded her head and Mehmed entered the room after changing into his night attire. He dismissed the maids and they bowed to him before walking out.

He sat down beside me before wrapping his arms around my shoulder while I breast fed Osman who was staring up at us with those big eyes. It felt as if I was staring into my own eyes.

"Osman." I whispered as I stroke his head before placing a kiss on his forehead. After a while, he fell asleep and I slowly placed him on our bed before turning my full attention on Mehmed.

He took my hand before leading me outside the balcony. We stood there, watching the beauty of the capital like we always do. The celebration for the new prince was still on. The sky was decorated with firecrackers and the view from here was very beautiful.

"Why were the Harem aghas foot whipping Sadika Hatun?" Mehmed asked as he lean his chin on my shoulder and I let out a sigh.

"She disrespected me and spoke ill words about the Sultan and Osman." I explained to him everything and his face changed.

"That witch! How dare she!?" He gritted out.

"I can't believe I didn't saw her ill intentions from the begining." I scowl at the thought. I can't believe I was so stupid.

We chated for a while before going back inside to sleep as it was already past midnight. I pulled Osman closer to me before placing my hand on top of his chest while Mehmed wrapped his arms around my waist with his hand on top of my breast before snuggling his head into the nape of my neck and soon sleep consumed us.

Dream :-

For the second time, I found myself in the same forest filled with fogs, wearing a white dress.

I saw a men standing a little far, wearing a white kaftan and a head gear. I walked up to him, "Bey, can you please tell me the way out of this forest. I lost my way and my son and my husband must be looking for me." I said to the guy.

He slowly turn back, revealing his face and I gasped. It was none other than my father in law, Sultan Mustafa Khan.

"Hünkarım?" I mumble as I stare at him in shock.

"Halime," he acknowledged.

"Your Grace, I don't mean to sound rude but. . . what are you doing here?" I asked when suddenly a women appeared from behind. She had a long brown hair with a pair of honey brown eyes which seemed oddly familiar.

"Mustafa?" She called out with a smile on her face and the Sultan smiled at her before hugging her and kissing her forehead while she giggle and I stood there awkwardly.

"Handan, my moon, my love, I missed you so much." The Sultan said as he showered his wife with kisses.

"No one can separate us now." She whispered to him and he nodded and he laughed with her. They look so perfect together.

The woman's gaze fell on me and she smiled at me. "Halime,"

"Sultanam."

She placed her hand on top of mine before giving it a light squeeze. "Thank you for saving my son. I thank Allah everyday for sending you to him. Please take care of him and my grandson."

"Of course Sultanam." I whispered as I nodded.

The Sultan stepped forward. "Protect your son Osman for many evil eyes are on him, ready to pounce on him. The Osman dynasty will be reborn and will go on through him. He will live up to his name. Like our great ancestor Sultan Osman 1 from whom the dynasty came."

"He will be most powerful Sultan of all." The Sultan said and I nodded as I took in his information. "And about Mehmed, I will never be able to thank you enough for everything you have done for him. I knew you were the right one for Mehmed as well as for the whole dynasty from the moment you stood up against Orhan for Mehmed, despite him being a Şehzade."

"Hünkarım, thank you for your words and also for accepting me as the wife of Şehzade Mehmed by breaking the 200 years old rule." I said with a light chuckle and they followed.

Suddenly Şehzade Selim came out of nowhere and smile at me before turning towards his parents. "Anne, Baba, it's time for us to go now."

"Evet, Oğlum. Just a minute." Handan Sultan said before embracing me into a tight hug.

"You'll be facing more problems from now but please don't give up. The evil eyes are watching your every moves, waiting for you to make a mistake. Remember, no one is your friend. Trust no one. And don't show them your weakness for there is no place for weak in the palace."

"There is no place for weak."

"There is no place for the weak."

I let out a loud gasp as I sat up and Mehmed instantly woke up.

"Halime, are you alright? Was it a nightmare? It's ok. You're safe now." Mehmed hugged as he stroke my head and wiped the sweats away from my forehead with the back of his sleeves.

"Mehmed. . . I . . . I." I stammered as I thought of the dream.

"Ahhhh it's ok." He said as he patted my head before placing a kiss on my hair.

I could see the lower part of the sky turning orange and yellow but it was still dark outside. I was about to tell him about my dream when a loud knock disturbed us and we share a look.

"Who might it be at this time?" He asked more like talk to himself but nonetheless I replied with a shrug. He got out of the bed before walking towards the door and opening it revealing a breathless Sumbul agha.

"Sumbul?" Mehmed asked. "What are you doing here at this time? Is everything alright?"

"No, Şehzade. Nothing is right." Sumbul cried out my heart started to beat fast. Please don't be. Not now. I'm not ready.

"What is it?" Mehmed asked in panic.

"Our Sultan is no more."
