I wore a white dress with long sleeves paring it with a necklace Mehmed made for me and a matching earing. And as per Mehmed's request, I wore a small tiara with a scarf that reached till my thigh.

Mehmed was riding a horse while I was in the carriage with Danielle and another girl who's name is still unkown to me.

The carriage stopped and I look outside to see people gathering to greet their prince. Mehmed jumped down from the horse before walking towards the carriage. He held his hand out for me and I took it before stepping out.

People were looking at me curiously because Sultan's and Şehzade's mostly take out only their wife or mother of their children whereas I was just a Hatun and was walking around with their Şehzade.

Mehmed told the girls to wait in the carriage while we walk around with the guards talking to people.

My gaze fell on a woman who was sitting on the side of the street with her son. She had quiet alot of cuts and bruises on her face that look fresh so, I decided to ditch Mehmed and went towards that woman.

Two of the guards followed me as I walked towards the woman. I stood in front of her and look up at me. “What happened?” I asked with my eyebrows furrowed. I kneel beside her inspecting her face.

“Sultanam, my husband's family kicked me and my son out of the house.” She said as she started sobbing. She addressed me with the wrong title but that doesn't matter right now. The only thing it matters right now, is that guy and his family who kicked them out and who is going to be kicked by me.

“Did your husband did this to you?” I asked her and she nodded. Some more woman who were sitting far away walked towards me.

“Sultanam, please help us too.” One of the cried out and averted my gaze towards them before standing up. “We were also kicked out by our sons and husbands because they don't want us anymore.”

By now, this caught everyones attention. Mehmed walked towards us with his guards trailing behind him. He came and stood beside me before asking me. “What happen?”

“Mehmed, we should help them.” I fully turned towards him. “They were kicked out from their house by their family after they beat them badly.”

He nodded before turning towards one of the aghas. “Aghas, make sure they have a shelter and bring me whoever kicked them out of their house. They have broken the Sultan's law and those who break the Sultan's law will have to deal with me and my sword.”

He turn towards the group of woman. “They will take you home. Now, nobody will do anything to you.” He said and those woman thanked him and me before walking off with the guards while the woman and her son were still struggling to stand up. I helped her to stand up before turning towards the boy.

“What is your name?” I ruffled his head and smiled at him.

“Ibrahim.” He replied.

“Ok Ibrahim, how old are you?” I asked him.

“Seven, Sultanam.”

I smiled at him. “I'm Andria Hatun. I'm not a Sultana.” I said before reaching inside my dress pocket and taking out a small bag that has a some amount of money before giving it to him.

“But you are a Sultana by heart.” He replied before kissing my hand and I smiled at him. Such a sweetie.

“Ibrahim, take care of your mother and study well.” I patted his head and he smiled at me.

“Thank you Hatun for helping us.” She sobbed. “May Allah be with you and bring you lots of happiness.”

“Amin.” I replied taking Mehmed off guard. I've read alot of books and seen alot of movies based on the muslims and ottomans so, this was nothing new for me.

They walked away with the guard and I rubbed my hands together smiling at their back and feeling happy inside knowing that I helped them.

“Long live Şehzade Mehmed. Long live Andria Hatun.” The people shouted as they gathered around us making me jump a little and Mehmed chuckled at me.

Some guards brought a seat for Mehmed to sit and listen to the people's problem and Mehmed being Mehmed forced me to sit with him. I hate being the center of attention.

A woman along with two of her children came forehead and kissed Mehmed's robe before standing up. “Şehzadem, this is my son Abdullah and my daughter Aykiz.”

I look at her kids who doesn't look any older than ten.

“Şehzadem, my husband is in jail because he was unable to return some money.” She said and Mehmed nodded. “Please release my husband or my children and I could be homeless and starve to death as we have no job and no one is willimg to give us any job.”

I felt sorry for her and her children. It must be really hard for them to survive without any job and money.

“Your husband will be freed.” Mehmed said and the woman and her children bowed at him before thanking him.

I called the girl and she came towards me after she got a green signal from her mother. “Are you studying, Aykiz?” I asked and she shook her head.

“My father can't earn enought for our studies.” She replied sadly. I nodded before calling the boy too and he came.

“Do you want to study?” I asked them and they both nodded their head. I turn towards Mehmed with a smile and he instantly knew what I mean.

He whispered something into one of the aghas ear and he nodded before turning back and walking away. “Both of you will be schooled.” He said before turning towards their mother. “And you will also be given a work.”

The woman burst into tears and kissing his hand before turning towards me and kissing my hand too.

“Now, both of you can study. Are you happy?” I asked them and the boy nodded happily while the girl burst into tears before hugging me. “Thank you so much Sultanam. May Allah bless you.” She replied before walking towards her mother and they walked away.

Now now now. How many times should I tell everyone I'm only a Hatun not a Sultana.

After a long tiring day, we turn to the palace late and decided to head straight to the chamber.

I was standing in the balcony enjoying the beauty of Konya province when Mehmed came and hugged me from behind.

“You managed to win my people's heart in just one day.” He said before placing a small kiss on the side of my head. “I think they like you more than me.”

I turn back and wrapped my arms around his neck and he pressed his forehead on mine. “How can't they love me? I'm just too lovable.” I said and he chuckled.

“Halime.” He whispered and I looked at him with confused expression.

“Halime?”

“Halime.” He repeated and I understood and smiled at him.

“Do you like it?” He asked me and I nodded. “Yes.”

"Do you know what it means?" He asked and I shook my head.

“It means honest, beautiful, gentle and generous.” He said before crashing his lips on mine.
