《Essie's Critiques》Rules/Payments
Advertisement
You have two options. Either I can critique your first chapter (option one), or your first five chapters (option two). Both options will have different payments (which I will address later). I will post my review in this book for you as well as others to see. If you're uncomfortable with that, privately message me and we can work out a different option for you.
I will split my critiques into ten different parts, and my overall score for your story in my review will follow these parts:
1. —Is it good? Or is it lacking? (10/10)
2.—Does it represent your story? (10/10)
3.—Is it too long? Too short? Does it represent your story? (5/5)
4.—Does it make me want to read more? (5/5)
5. —Comma. Semicolon. Apostrophes. Are they used correctly? (10/10)
6. —how many typos do you have? Did you even edit your work? (5/5)
7. —Is it unique? Or is it predictable and cliche? Any plot holes? (20/20)
8.—Personalities? Character arcs? Or are they dull and lifeless? (10/10)
9. —How do you write? I should see your voice through your work. (20/20)
10. —Are your sentences stilted, or awkward? (5/5)
And as I've mentioned earlier, there will be two options for you. If you choose , I will only critique your first chapter. You can use my suggestions and recommendations and apply it to the rest of your book. Choosing means I'll critique your first five chapters.
(For poetry, my style of grading will be based on different expectations. If you apply to have your poetry reviewed, just apply in the forms page as normal, and I will privately message you the details of my grading guidelines).
Make sure to check the queue for the line of stories I'm reviewing for the month. At the bottom of the page, you'll see that the queue is either closed or open. Do not request for a story review when you know the queue is closed. Do not ask me when the queue opens, and do not ask me to add your story to a closed queue.

I will not review any mature content. This includes sexual themes, excessive violence/blood and gore, and idealogically sensitive themes. There are exceptions, as long as you clear them with me first. For example, I may accept your application if the chapters I'm reviewing includes fade-to-black sexual scenes or mild violence. Notify me about any trigger warnings before applying. Failure to do so will result in an unfinished review; meaning I will not review a specific chapter with this content, and I'll probably berate you for not following the rules. There have been multiple instances where I found myself reading something I was not comfortable with because I was not notified. It's disrespectful, and you probably won't get an unbiased review from it.
I will not review any content glorifying/romanticizing drug/alcohol abuse, rape/assault, incestuous themes of any sort, bestality, or criminal behavior. This is final; there are no exceptions.
When filling out the form, check to make sure all the information is listed within. I will not accept forms that have not followed the guideline (shown in the next page). List all of your information in one comment. If I tell you that the payment hasn't been completed, don't ask me what the payment is. Look through this page thoroughly instead and find what you're missing.
To make sure you've read this thoroughly, comment down below, "Read it." If you don't do this, I will not accept your form. And forms are only to be filled out on the next page. And if you have any questions, ask here. ➡
Make sure to check out the books in my reading list! These are books that have recieved at least 90/100 points in my review, so make sure to support these deserving authors (optional).
If your review recieves at least 80/100 in my review, I will give you a shout out for your book in this profile. If you recieve at least 90/100 in your review, I'll give you a shout out for your book in this profile and my other profile. Along with that, I will add your story to my reading list. (So if you want more support for your story, make sure to hand me a polished draft of your story in order to get the most points you need.)

Make sure to give this critique book a shout-out from your profile (optional).
Only apply if you want genuine feedback. I'm not going to waste my time typing up a 4k word review for you to use for free votes, shout-outs, and more recognition. It's disappointing and disrespectful. Upon recieving your review, acknowledge it by commenting somewhere on the review. Don't waste my time, and I won't waste yours.
If you choose for Option 1 or Option 2, you ask for more or less chapters to be critiqued from the option I provide for you. I will not accept requests to review two chapters with an Option 1 payment, and I will not review more/less than five chapters with an Option 2 payment. If you'd like more than five chapters reviewed, you can always apply for a second review later on five other chapters.
I don't review the same books more than twice. If you'd like me to take another look at chapters I've critiqued before, feel free to apply for a better score. If you'd like me to look at five different chapters in the same story, I'm open to that as well. But you only have two chances with your story. Of course, you can apply for more than one of your stories to be reviewed; but only one at a time. Wait until I finish a review for one story, then you may apply for another.
As I've repeatedly stated before, the payments will vary depending on whether you pick option one or two. And if you have no idea what options I'm talking about, then go back and read the rules.
Dedicate that one chapter to me. If you don't know how, you can ask me or simply tag me in the chapter.
Follow this account (optional).

I will not accept your form unless you complete your payment first. I will review in order of which I receive the forms. Make sure to clearly follow all the rules and completing the payment before applying, as I may not accept some applications even after payment because of broken rules.
Now that we've addressed the payments and rules, let's move on to the form!

Our Chaoz; Our Reality (Completed)
Everyone has their own reasons, be it past events, personality or simply company. But most at some point divulge themselves into videogaming, be it for entertainment or more compettitive reasons. In this year and age there are many genres of gaming, one specific genre though still holds on tight to the ledge it was pushed to trying to pull itself back up. MMORPGs were once the top of everybody's list, adventure, combat, storytelling and endless grind in one single game. It was a different life for most, as if a parallel world to our own. You could be a knight indulging yourself in combat, a mage expertly crafting spells of mass destruction or creation. A ranger exploring the land and hunting down prey, an assassin completing contracts and hording the spoils. A troll scamming children out of their hard earned 10 gold and making more hardcore players rage quit for the day. Or something else. Kyle was a simple player, he always picked the strangest classes or jobs and his characters almost looked the same. He played for the combat, he played for the grind and he played for his guild but above all he played for the story. Kyle is a roleplayer, one who enjoys the simple parts of this virtual life. Whether his guild was starting a war or ending one he'd always have his drammatic entrence or exit, his decleration of annihalition or demand of surrender. After all that? He divulged himself in the game's story, the interaction with NPCS (Non Player Characters) and their advanced AI. He went through many questlines, many tales of heroics and many more adventurers of legend but one thing always remained true with his character. Kyle absolutely loved to the play the villain. But when game turns reality, what will he and his guild of twisted personalities do?
8 80A Comprehensive Guide for Alchemy
A guidebook designed for alchemists of every tier to help refine their craft and provide direction. Formed of countless recipes and techniques, developed over the ages by the collective knowledge of our study, this is a definite supplement material for any aspiring alchemist. This discusses not only the recipe itself, giving you instructions for each one, but directs you to things not to do in the recipe. It isn’t uncommon for starting alchemists to unknowingly make a small change, and before they know it… BOOM! For a relatively minor price you too purchase this guidebook and start working towards building up a proper base of knowledge in alchemy. Even those with considerable ability may learn a thing or two from this! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is purely a guidebook for alchemy in a magical world, and as such contains no story elements. The cultivation (and alchemical) tiers are not at all necessary to understand the book, but exist because in the context of the book it would be important. I'm more than happy to write up any alchemical ideas you've ever had, totally not using this as an excuse to reduce my creative thinking hours... Just PM the idea or post it as a comment in any chapter, with a bit of balancing there's pretty much no idea that can't be done! Hiatus while I focus on shorter stories for competitions
