Meera is getting shocks after shocks......she is getting more curious to know what happened.

Geet: (Tamil Nadu). (grandfather)(Elder uncle, i.e, father's elder brother) (younger uncle, i.e father's younger brother)

Geet takes a pause and continues...

Krishnan: (Dad, What happened?)

(Author's Note: Here he's is calling seshadri, his father as appa and Murali who is his elder brother and hence calls him Anna.)

Seshadri: (Not able to understand...Chellam has been puking blood for the last 2 days every now and then)

Krishnan: (What did doctor say?)

Seshadri: (10 days is the max limit)

Krishnan nods for a no...

Both his brother's got angry listening to Krishnan.

Geet's Appa composes himself...(Elder brother),

Seshadri: He hands over all doctors reports ...Seshdri couldn't hold on to his tears...All three sons console him and help him compose himself.

Geet tells Meera... "(Far relation)

Seshadri: He takes a pause and continues. (Shankar will tie the mangalsutra knot on Geetika's neck and that's final).

Krishnan had no say in front of his own Appa's decision. He has absolutely no choice. He slowly enter into his room where Geet, Radhika, Gopal and Rajji are eagerly waiting to know what has happened and what is Chellam's health condition. It was as if a thunder fell on them when they came to know that she has a limited life and also what has been decided to fulfill her last wish...i.e Geet's wedding.

Geet is all in her tears and runs to her room...

Geet hugs Krishnan and starts crying...He feels even more helpless now. (Appa...I am not at all interested in this marriage to happen). Please Appa...Tathavai puriya veingo(please make grandpa understand this).

Geet's Amma and Rajji console Geet by holding on to her shoulder with a tight grip. (There is no other way out dear).

Geet starts crying

Radhika: Radhika tries to console her.. (Geetika...try to understand...Shankar seems to be a nice guy...He is good looking...has a decent job...drawing good salary...We all believe you'll lead a happy life with him)

Krishnan:

Gopal (Geet's brother) is the most cunning among the lot. For him, if Geet disobeys the orders of Seshadri, then the entire Krishnan's family will be separated away from the rest of the family and hence not eligible to have a hold on family property. Hence he wants Geet to get married now and when he sees Geet is oposing her wedding, he passes rude comments... he moves towards Geet and grips on to her shoulder..

Geet is really getting angry on Gopal as she knows his intentions pretty well. She pushes his hands that are gripping on to her shoulder...

Gopal's anger got further triggered...he grits his teeth and shouts....

Krishnan:

Gopal moves away with a frustrating note. He still didn't meet his paati.

Where as Geet is in her deep thoughts...she is in such a fix..and moreover, she is guilty that she gave more heed to her current situation and amidst all this, she missed to meet her dearest paati and without any second thought, she rushes to meet her....while Krishnan, Radhika and Rajji didnt know what's up with Geet and they follow her and they stopped near the entrance of the room.

..Geet calls out her name and hugs her and cries

Paati: (Geetika, My dear...how are you?)

(I feel really hurt to see you in this condition) Geet kneels down near her bed crying uncontrollably as her grandma, who has been living a live with a positiveness, bright face with a smile and always active at any given point of time; now she really looks pale and worn out and completely bedridden.

Paati: She wipes Geet's tears...

Geet is shocked listening to this and she sits like a statue giving no reaction. Her grandma holds her hand..

Paati: She pauses and talks further..Geet remains quite and everything goes blank in front of her while her grandma cups her face..

Geet suddenly remembers the Chennai incident where she slapped that guy.

Geet feels for her Paati's current condition....how much her Paati has contributed in the development of her life??...even in her death bed, she cares only about her dearest granddaughter. Geet seriously thinks that. Geet composes herself and answers her calmly... (Nothing like that Grandma, and until now I have not liked any guy). She closes her eyes and dears rolls down her cheeks as she has told a big lie to her Paati. But how can she justify that she still thinks about that stranger?

Paati: (That means, you are willing to get married to Shankar right)

Geet: ( YES GRANDMA)

Geet says without giving a second thought now...Geet's Appa-Amma, Rajji, Gopal, Taatha and everyone outside Chellam Paati's room are delighted to hear this. On Same day, the family Astrologer was called and he traced the ideal date and time for marriage that falls in next 3 days.

On the same day, the entire family leaves to their kuladeivam Temple (means the temple which the family has faith upon for generations.) Its a must that they have to visit this temple before any good and auspicious event takes place in the family.

This is the first time her Paati is not with her during this temple visit. She had to stay back due to her health conditions and some distant relatives are taking care of her. At the temple, Geet looks around each and every family member showering their thankfulness and faith as this marriage has got fixed and by that way, at least Chellam Paati can have a peaceful death.. This moment of joy could only be possible all because of her marriage and how on earth she can be selfish to think only about herself?
