Rihanna's POV
" Good morning Mrs. Franco" I waved at my nosy neighbor . She was an old woman who lived here with her husband for a few years. It has come to my understanding that her son was some mafia leader in Italy who she tried to set me up with on more than one occasions.
" Good Morning Rihanna, You're looking fabulous is it a date?" She peered through her door. She was almost blind but sometimes I wish she was just dumb and deaf even her husband would agree.
" No Mrs. Franco ,I'm going to work" I stepped inside the elevator.
" That's what they all say" she winked and took her newspaper inside. I shook my head in disbelief at this little old woman and sang along to the song playing in the elevator.
" Shouldn't have walked away, I would have stayed if you said we could have everything okay but we just"
Mariah Carey and Neyo's song Angels Cry was playing and that song always left me in a mood.
Ironically the rain started pouring outside, I ran to my car and turned on the air conditioning. I continued humming the song until I reached my place of work.
I stepped inside the building and went to the top floor. I never really interacted with co workers, they were too nosy for my liking. I walked inside Brandon's office to see him flipping around a small box in his hand.
" Good Morning Mr Salvatore" he quickly hid the box inside a drawer and gave me a stern look.
" Quit with the formalities Rihanna " I shrugged and walked to my work area and sat down.
" We are in a place of business it is mandatory " I told him.
" Not with us anyways what happened last night, you had a little attitude " he gave me a curious look.
Couldn't he just forget about it
" It's that time of the month" I lied, I wasn't going to explain anything to Brandon even though I owe him one.
" Okay anyways we have a meeting with the Japanese construction company" I got my notepad and pen.
" Well let's get the day started" he nodded in agreeement.
