After leaving two hundred dollars for repair on the massive hole in the T.V we were on the road. Me being the protective wolf I am of Lexi I couldn't help but feel pissed and scared for her at the same time. She isn't the strongest wolf and she is fragile and emotional scarred, not that I wasn't, she just shows it more often and the worst part is I know her boy toy doesn't care.

Flashback

I walked up the short sidewalk to the motel Jax was staying in and listened into the door of his room. I was very upset. He wouldn't answer Lexi's calls and If my hunch is right I know why, He's a cheating bastard. A regular rogue with feelings worth sh!t

"Uh, harder Jax, harder!"

I wanted to throw up. Hmm, how shall I approach this? A devilish smile swept across my face and I burst the door open.

"What the hell?!" Jax said looking up at me covering himself not even caring about the naked girl on the bed. I mentally rolled my eyes in my head, and gave a fake gasp

"Jax! How could you cheat on me?! Why would you do this!" I wanted to laugh so hard because the girl's face was absolutely priceless. I love messing with people!

"C-cheated? Oh my g0d! She's your girlfriend! You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend!" no shiz I thought. She yelled at him while getting up and gathering her clothes. Jax just rolled his eyes clearly not amused.

I on the other hand was and decided to go a step further dropping to my knees and crying alligator tears, I could feel Jax's gaze on me like daggers to the soul and I was enjoying every minute of it. The girl stormed out and my fake cries turned to hysterical laughter. I finally got a hold of myself still on my knees trying to calm down as Jax got up wrapped in a blanket stalking over to me as he raised a hand ready to slap me but I caught it. In a matter of seconds I had him pinned to the wall by his throat.

"You think you can take me Jax? you should no better than that. You're face when I ran in was absolutely priceless by the way. Get caught often?" I fake smile and let my eyes glaze over black in a threatening matter."Let me tell you something else. You can let my Honey bee down easy right now and I mean RIGHT NOW or you will stop this sh!t cause i'll be damed if Lexi is gunna go out with a cheater." He started turning purple

"I-I-I'll stop, just. let *cough* just let me go!" I smirked

"What do you say?"

"Please! Please!" With that I let him sink to the ground gasping for air.

"Good boy!" I patted his head as if he was a dog, whic he was.. you know what I mean. "Oh and just so you know If you do this again and I catch you I will serve you your as$ on a silver platter, Have a good day Jax" I punched him knocking him out cold.

"Next time answer her calls bastard." I muttered to myself walking out of the room slamming the door behind me.

End of Flashback

"Baby girl? Are you okay?" No was what I wanted to say but I wasn't gunna go into detail.

"I'm fine" I lied.

"Really? because you look pissed and I am pretty sure the steering wheel already has spots you can put you hands.." I lifted my one hand off the steering wheel seeing how I made permantent hand prints on them and took deep breaths calming down. The flashback must have upset me more than I thought?..

"Yea, my nerves are just shot for obvious reasons" I thought up quickly. What? It wasn't a complete lie.

She left it at that and I knew deep down she was grateful for me taking her. It was harder on me coming back through the pack's territory than it was for her. You have to remember, I took abuse from the pack as a whole whereas she took it mostly from her parents part of it being because she was skinny she just wasn't face pretty. Don't get me wrong her nerves were on high alert too I know how she feels and she knows how I feel which is apart of the whole blood link thingy.

'Arriving at destination in approximately twenty minutes' The GPS told me and my stomach started doing flips, I set the destination in town at a dinner me and Lexi would go to any chance we got so it will alert me when I have to keep a look out. The Midmoon packs territory was about an hour wide, so we had to stay in the car most of the time. When we pass through the boarder the look out wolves will automatically sense our 'foreign' pressence.

Lexi's stomach started to growl and I realised we haven't eaten in hours which is very uncommon for wolves. I knew my Honey bee was afraid and I could smell it and I could smell her guilt? it dawned on me. Did she feel bad about this? I'm not mad at her i'm just trying to look out for her safety. I hate it when she is mad jeez I feel like i'm more protective of her than a mate should be.

We were in Midmoon's territory ten minutes later and I pulled into the diner twently minutes later and parked the car. I turned to Lexi who was looking at me in shock.

"What are you doing? We could get caught?" she looked genuinely worried. I just looked at her intently. Maybe being caught now and willingly confronting them would be better than getting caught further down the road.

"Honey bee, listen to me before you hyperventilate will you? Okay, you are starving I can sense it. plus, even if we DO get caught it's better now than thirty minutes down the road and who knows maybe they will not be as pissed?" she just sighed and looked at her tummy I knew I won.

"Okay" she said in defeat, see I wasn't stupid? I knew my Honey bee too well. "But what if I see Jack again? What if they try to hurt us?" she looked at me so sad. I clenched my heart and I just sighed deep in thought. The mention of me now ex brother sent anger coursing through me, I swear if him or they hurt us i'll die defending Lexi.

"I won't let that happen, now do you trust me?" I asked her while gesturing towards the diner.

"Yes." I smiled. Of course she does.

"Then come on, remember the burgers?" Her eyes lit up in hunger, there's my girl! She hoped out of my Lamborghini jumping in delight and at least for now she forgot how much sh!t we were in.

Walking up to the door I sniffed and froze for a second and opened the door, Immediately I met the eyes of two wolves in the corner of the diner I knew they knew what I was and contacted the look out wolves through their mind links and I also could sense they were mates. Honey bee and I took a seat at an empty booth near the back while I got lost in thought.

Deep down I knew this would happen but I was hoping that it wouldn't we would have to face the Midmoon pack and I was growing angrier and more anxious. They wouldn't possibly recognize us because so much has changed.

Lexi's caramel colored hair was now a darker shade of brown with blonde highlights and of course her eyes were still a deep brown as usual but she was just more out there with her head in the clouds like she was on Cloud 9 or something always wearing dresses with bright colors like yellow, orange, pink, white. nothing dark. ever. The last time I saw her wear anything dark was when we left. Me on the other hand wear dark colors and I used to like bright colors. I stick to leather nowadays and I cut my long dark hair to just below my shoulder blades.

When I snapped out of it I noticed a Dr. Pepper in front of me and Lexi had a plate with burger and fries and she was chowing down gulfing down the plate -which was three quarters of the way gone-happily looking everywhere. Jeez I was out that long? I smiled knowing she was happy and as she's jumping up and down in her seat I'm slouched down looking around and glaring at the couple who suddenly sniff the air and leave.

Sh!t, I knew what was coming next ans stiffened just as the door opens and two guys I didn't know -thank g0d I didn't because I might have ripped off their heads- stepped in and looked directly at me, Obviously noticing I was the intimidating one. They looked at me and jerked their heads towards the door and I knew I had to follow. I stood up slowly and put a twenty on the table to pay for the food and Lexi stood too till I pushed her down.

'Come out when you finish eating. I mean it. You need to eat.' I sent her through our mind link. she just nodded in understanding. I walked up to the two guys at the door and stepped in front of one who was trying to get passes me to Lexi signaling for him to back the f*ck off. He just backed out the door with the other dude.

When me and the two look outs were out of the diner I noticed another car with two more look outs in it glaring at me, I wanted to slap that look of their faces so bad. They turned to me lowering their voice

" I hope you know if you try and run you won't get very far." He tried to look intimidating which he was really bad at.

"Who said I was trying to run? my friend and I are simply stopping for something to eat" I shot back at him.

"Is she gonna come out or do we have to drag her out by her hair?" The second guy asked obviously new at this whole thing because the first one gave him a shut-up-you-idiot look which I just laughed at.

"She is in there eating. she is harmless and If you so much as look at her weirdly i'll rip your heart out and shove it down you Alpha's throat." I looked at him and I was very serious.

He gulped then looked piss, both of them did. Plus the ones in the car. They weren't to keen on me disrespecting their beloved 'Alpha' who just happened to be a heartless-mate-braker. Oh if only they knew!

A couple of minutes later Lexi came out holding my Dr.Pepper and looked at the four look outs and waved with a smile on her face skipping to the car, she's adorable and insane, but adorable nonetheless I watched her skip to the car and get in the passenger side in her Yellow dress with white flowers bouncing in the wind along with her. I turned to the look outs who were looking at her shocked and confused with a hint of suspicion? Makes sense. Wolves aren't so jumpy and calm about these things but that was just Lexi. They then turned to me and I just raised and eyebrow, shrugged and walked me and my leather booted self to the drivers side.

Soon we were on our way out of town to the pack house both cars with the look outs flanking the front and back of us. The territory was just as I remember. Forest. How shocking! just kidding.

Less than ten minutes later we pulled up the driveway to the pack house, The memory of us leaving flashed through my mind just as quickly it was gone. Everybody was standing outside waiting for our arrival and in the front of the group was the five people I hated the most with a firey passion. Danielle, Jack, Lexi's parents, and Darius. I felt my wolf whimper and my heart stop when I saw him none of them looked very different.

'I'm scared.' I heard Lexi say as she glanced up at her parents and pulled out her phone to text Jax and tell him we'd be late, or dead..

'I know, It'll be alright just follow my league' I calmed her nerves by deciding to be funny and put on 'Highway To Hell' by ACDC on the radio in a CD I made called 'Badas$ Music' I know it's original but it worked. It was blaring at the highest volume. I pulled into the driveway actually very fast causing memebers to either stiffen or gasp. I could feel my wolf wanting to come out and give Darius a piece of her mind.

Every wolf is fueled by something. Sometimes it's happiness like it is for Honey bee and sometimes it's anger like it is for me. Darius dismissed the look outs and it was just my car in the gravel drive way. I had tinted windows so they couldn't see me which made my entrance all the more grand.

I opened the driver's side door and let my leather boot hit the floor first pulling the rest of my body out and meeting everybody's eyes I moved away from the door and slammed it. I walked forward and leaned against the hood of my car folding my arms over my chest staring straight ahead at my former pack and current enemies.

"Come out Honey bee!" I yelled behind me not turning my attention away once. She came out humming and jumping up and down closing the door with her happy-go-lucky self. She came around the car to the front to stand next to me with her hands clasped in front of her looking childish for her age considering how we are seventeen now. It was funny the way we looked actually, Lexi wearing her favorite yellow dress with white flowers happy as can be whereas I was coated in leather looking pissed off. It's a wonder we are bestfriends/ sisters, huh?

Darius sniffed the air about the same time Jack did and their eyes darkened with desire. They knew it was us, their 'mates'. Daruis zeroed in on me and a smirk tugged on my lips.

"Jamie?" he said stepping closer a growl escaping my lips with me not trying to hide it. He just returned to his spot trying not to piss me off. I glanced at Jack who was shocked beyond belief

"Lexi? Is that you?" Jack asked taking a step forward and she whimpered taking a step back. I stood up straighter wanting nothing more than to tear him limb by limb. He must of sensed it cause he looked at me with a sad guilty expression and stepped back into his place. I looked over at Gabrielle who looked just as sad and guilty and couldn't help a laugh that escaped my lips, noticing Darius's hand around her waiste I'm not so sure if I laughed at her expression or if I laughed at that. I decided to toy with them.

"Honey bee?" I turned to Lexi.

"Yes Baby Girl?" she answered back. This was gunna be fun.

"I think they are feeling sad and guilty. How pathetic." I laughed.

"Me too it's so obvious, I'm not so scared anymore." she smiled at Jack and winked deciding to tease him which I laughed at because he just looked hopeful then Lexi's face grew serious as she flipped him off and looked away. Now they all looked guilty.

"Lexi? Baby girl?" Lexi's mom asked trying to sound sweet. Lexi's face just turned cold as she glared at her mother and father because they were her weak spot, That's where the fun ended. I just gave her mother a murderous look and my eyes were turning black. The b!tch stood there and watched her daughter get sexually abused and raped and did absolutely nothing. Lexi was starting to form tears in her eyes. I didn't care where we were I stood up in front of Lexi blocking her view from her mother.

"Lexi? Honey bee? Look at me." she just shook her head and tears started falling down her cheeks. I took both of my hands and cupped her face forcing her to look at me. "It's okay we are gonna be out of her in no time, oka-" I was interupted when her bastard father decided to speak up.

"Lexi, honey, you're home." Her idiotic father pipped up his mouth and got the nerve to check her out? snd speak? to my Honey bee! That's it. I whirled around and pointed at him accusingly.

"Listen you prick! I would rip you to shreds right here and right now if there wasn't the chance Lexi and I would get killed in the process! My threat still stands from two years ago you dumb motherf*cker. Lay a single hand on her or look at her with any emotion what so ever and I'll give you a slow and painful death-" This time Lexi interrupted me because I was starting to shake.

"It's okay Baby girl. I'm okay" she said hugging me and I never riped my black eyes off her parents.

"Daddy? Mommy? who is that? She has a pretty dress!" A mini version of Lexi came out from behind Lexi's fathers legs and hugged his leg tightly.

Lexi turned wide-eyed at the little girl and just stared at her for a long time and so did I.

"Honey bee get. In. The. Car." I told her as nicely as I could at the moment.

"Okay" she said slowly and turned to get in the car. She sat there for two minutes then opened the door. "What do I do? It's boring in here." she gave me a puppy dog face and a look of sadness at nothing to do and my eyes softened and so did my face.

"I don't know! Sleep or call your boy toy!" I glanced sideways and rolled my eyes as a growl erupted from Jack. Jealous much? good.

I turned my attention to the pack who was just observing this whole thing and rested my elbows back on the hood of my car. 'Paradise City' by Guns n' Roses started to play and Honey bee was jumping up in the down singing at the top of her lungs playing a fake drum, she's definetly crazy. I just laughed and a few members of the pack did too and I just played a fake guitar banging my head then just shook it after awhile realising where I was and the amused look on Darius's face.

Ugh. whatever. back to 'business'

"So, Are you gunna kill us or can we go?" Everybody looked taken aback by my sudden question expecially since I asked casually, It was funny, just saying. The music from the car turned down as Lexi picked up her phone. Imediately I knew who it was from her hurt expression. Jax.

I just turned my head to the side listening intently.

"Where are you? Did you get lost? You're such an idiot you are supposed to be here so I can have fun. G0d you're so selfish! This. This is over between us you little brat!" Selfish? Aw h3ll no.

"I-I No, We Just-" Lexi was struggling trying to explain, He was always nice to her pulling her in so she's never seen this part of him.

"Shut up. Just shut up. You worthless piece of sh!t." I heard a growl from Jack and everybody was listening intently. I was trying to control my anger breathing deeply but then I looked over and saw a tear slide down Lexi's cheek and I lost it.

I walked to the passenger side of the car keeping eye contact with Lexi the whole time. I warned him. I warned him MONTHS ago, I should've known this would happen. I opened Lexi's door leaning my hand on the top and put my hand out for her to give me the phone.

She looked at me, then the phone and then back up at me and smiled. "Jax, I think you're about to get your as$ served to you on a silver platter, I hope it hurts like hell!" With that she placed the phone in my hand and folded her arms across her chest in triumph.

"You B!tch! What are you-" Jax started screaming into the phone then gulped when I said

"Hello Jax. Remember? I warned you."
