《Lost | ✓》16 / Epilogue

Four months later...

"I'm proud of you, Trav," I smiled as I threw my arm around his neck lazily.

These were one of those rare moments where Travis smiled at me. "Thanks, Amanda."

I sighed happily and looked around the first floor of Tyler's house, which was filled with Erin, Travis' brother, Oliver, and the both of us.

We just got back from our graduation and of course, we brought Ollie with us.

"So since your birthday's soon, are you gonna move out and find a place?" I asked, and Travis scoffed.

"Hell yeah. The trailer's under my dad's name, and even though he's far gone, I don't want to be surrounded by his shit," he explained. "Ollie and I are moving more south."

A smile slowly grew on my lips. "Closer to me? I knew you wouldn't resist."

My dad ended up winning Travis' case against his dad, and managed to file a restraining order against him.

Through the whole process, Travis stayed strong for himself and his younger brother.

Travis let out a dry laugh before looking off to his brother. "I'm going closer for him. The school he's at is fucked. The public school that's here is perfect for him."

I smiled as I watched Travis stand straighter at the thought of protecting his younger brother, who was now playing a video game with Erin on the Xbox.

By Erin's scrunched up nose, I could tell she wasn't winning.

That, and Ollie shouting in victory helped prove that theory.

Suddenly, the door behind me opened, and I took my arm off of Travis just as I saw Tyler walking in with Bethany.

Bethany had dirty blonde hair that reached her shoulders and dark brown eyes, and although she was was too girly for my liking, she was okay in my book.

I smiled when I saw both of them. "Hey Beth."

When her eyes met mine, she waved excitedly before rushing to me to give me a hug.

Although I'm not a fan of hugs, I didn't mind them for her.

It was like her peppiness was rubbing off of me.

Ew.

"I'm so proud of you guys! And I told you that dress would look amazing on you," she cheered, taking a step back so she could eye the blush skater dress that I bought with her last week.

I blushed as my head hung low, but I felt Tyler's presence when he went to stand next to Bethany.

My eyes looked back up and met his intense mahogany eyes before feeling at shortness of breath.

When I looked between the both of them, I was still shocked that they were cousins. They looked close to nothing alike.

"If you'd excuse us," Tyler drawled out as he grabbed my hand before guiding us to the front of the house.

He quickly took the first door on the left, which showed his dad's office. Before I could ask what he wanted, he closed the door and pressed my back against it.

"Hey baby," he whispered against my lips as he trailed his hand up and down my waist.

I chuckled as he brushed his nose with mine playfully. "You saw me an hour ago, why are you acting like you've been gone forever?"

Tyler brought his other hand to my cheek before drawing circles softly.

"I just missed you," he smirked before pressing his body further to me.

I rolled my eyes but cupped his cheek before bring his lips to mine.

The kiss that I assumed would start off slowly, happened to start way more violent than I expected.

Tyler gripped my waist tighter as he continued to press his lips harder to me, as if I was the last drop of water on a dry planet.

"Tyler," I groaned as he brought his lips lower so they were latched onto my neck. "There are people in the next room," I reminded him, but that didn't stop him from kissing me once more.

"Don't care," he said, his voice muffled by our lips moving together.

"Guys, get your horny asses in here! We're ordering pizza," Erin shouted from the living room and we both separated breathlessly before laughing.

"Let's go Ty," I smiled before grabbing his hand and guiding the both of us outside of the office.

"Amanda," someone shook me awake with a whisper, and I stretched my arms out above my head before fluttering my eyes open.

When my eyes met Tyler's, they widened before sitting up on the couch Erin and I were sharing.

"Why are you up, Tyler?" I whispered, and I caught the small smirk he was fashioning through the moonlight peaking out from behind the curtains.

"Get dressed, we're going out," was all he said before moving in the darkness.

My eyes doubled in size as I tried to find him, but came out unsuccessfully a few moments later.

The only people I saw was Travis and Ollie, who were lying asleep on the couch across from me, and Erin who was clenching a pillow to her chest with her lips parted open.

Bethany slept like an angel on the single seated couch while I snuck upstairs before reaching Tyler's room.

I wasn't surprised when I didn't see Tyler there, but I took his absence as a advantage. I quickly opened the drawer that Tyler kept empty for me, and pulled out some shorts and a tee shirt.

"You ready?" Tyler asked behind me and I gasped as I turned around to see him eyeing my attire.

"Knocking would be a good thing to do next time," I hissed, and he shrugged playfully as he smirked before striding over to me.

"Nothing I haven't seen before," he whispered, drawing his hand up and down my arm.

My jaw clenched, knowing the truth of his words. "Shut up, and lets go."

Tyler laced his fingers with mine before guiding the both of us down the stairs quietly before slipping into our running shoes.

"Come on baby," he said, close to begging when I made him wait while I slowly put my shoes on.

I simply smirked, but took my time anyways.

When I finished, he tugged my arm forward until we were walking next to each other on the sidewalk.

"What time is it anyways?" I asked after a few minutes of walking in silence.

Tyler looked at me quickly before looking forward. "Midnight..." he stated slowly, and my eyes widened briefly.

"What are you up to, Tyler?" I asked slowly, but he stayed silent for the remainder of the period.

When the park came into view — the same park we played soccer in the past — I sucked in a large intake of breath as he began to change his direction so we were walking towards the field.

Tyler ignored my protests before leaving me alone by the center of the field before jogging off to the forest.

"Tyler, where the hell are you going?" I hissed, looking around me to make sure nobody was around.

When he started to run back towards me, I saw him holding a round object. The closer he came, the easier I noticed what he was holding.

A soccer ball.

"What's all of this about?" I laughed softly as I watched him place the soccer ball down before standing on the opposite side of it.

"We, are playing one final game of soccer, baby," he stated before spreading his legs out. "Now let's go this."

I couldn't help but laugh. "Good luck, Evans."

He immediately glared before standing up straight. "What the hell does that mean?"

"Are you forgetting that I've beaten you in dozens of games?"

Tyler scoffed in response before crossing his arms. "And are you forgetting that I have years of practice on you?"

My smug expression shifted to a glare instead. "Oh it's on, pretty boy."

He smirked and eyed the ball between us before bending lower on his knees. I followed along seconds later.

"Ready?" He asked with raised eye brows, and I scoffed.

"Go!" I shouted, kicking the ball to the direction of his net, but before I lasted two seconds with the ball, he kicked it away from me.

"Shit," I whispered to myself as I sped up faster to catch up to him.

Tyler laughed ahead of me, which managed to fuel my speed so I was next to him. Right as he was nearing my net, I kicked the ball out of his hold before rushing to the opposite direction.

"Victory," I laughed as I was getting closer to his net, but before I could move a inch closer, Tyler stole the ball from me.

My jae clenched immediately, and before I could think about my actions, I acted on them.

I tackled him, and Tyler quickly yelled before moving his body around so I would land on top of him.

When he landed on the floor with a thud, I had no time to relish over the power I held over him until he flipped us over so he was looming over me.

"Tie?" Tyler asked, and I couldn't help but scoff.

"Staying on the middle ground is for the weak," I stated breathlessly, and he rolled his eyes before bending lower.

"Come on baby," he whispered into my neck before brushing his nose with mine, leaving me close to cracking.

Tyler started teasing me slightly, first while bringing his warm hand up my bare thigh, and then whispering sensually in my ear that I couldn't help but want more from.

Not being able to take it any more, I cupped his cheek, bringing his lips closer to mine, but before our lips could meet, he pushed back.

"Accept defeat," he whispered, and my jaw clenched, refusing to listen.

But when Tyler pushed himself closer to me, I lost shortness of breath before tangling my fingers into his hair. "Okay fine, tie."

After those words left me, he immediately brushed my lips with his own.

A moan left me as he began to rub my waist before moving his hand under my shirt, where his over average warm hand caressed my skin while his other hand cupped my cheek.

My hands tightened their hold in his hair while he rubbed his lower half on me. My lips parted in a groan while his quickly brushed his tongue on my lower lip.

"God, I love you," he whispered against my lips, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I love you too... Rely," I whispered as I smiled largely.

Tyler laughed, cupping my cheeks once more before smashing his lips to my own.

"Let's go, baby," he breathed out once we pulled apart, and I nodded as I watched him stand up.

In seconds, he was on his two feet before offering a hand to help me up, which I gladly took.

"Are we heading back to your place?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Yeah."

I bit my lip as we walked to where the soccer ball stood, but before Tyler could stop me, I ran towards it and kicked it directly to Tyler's net.

"Goal!" I sang with a scream, and Tyler laughed.

"Oh, it's on, baby."
