Eunmi looked up at Jungkook. A pout was spread across her face.
"I'm sorry, my love." She frowned as she connected her fingers with Jungkook's. "I lost touch after getting a new phone."
"Eunmi..." Jungkook closes his eyes in slight frustration. "Don't start with the pet names." He said.
They met for the first time four years ago; however she had to risk leaving to take care of her sick mother in Icheon around ten months ago
Both of them said their goodbyes, but they never made their break up official, therefore Eunmi still had every chance to call him her boyfriend.
During the first months of her leaving, they Skyped a lot, and talked on the phone almost every night.
Unfortunately there was a week when she didn't call him not even once. called him, so he tried calling her, but she wouldn't answer.
She stopped answering his Skype calls along with her phone calls. Then after that one month came another long nine months where they haven't spoke to each other again.
He thought maybe she didn't care about him anymore..that she didn't need him, so he felt as if he should move on and meet new people.
"You still love me right?" She asked. Her face had a look of worry as she looked up at Jungkook and awaited an answer.
"I-I don't know anymore Eunmi. It's been too long." He admitted.
"You said you'd wait for me, Kookie." She said.
She was right. He did promise her that as soon as she gets back, he would scoop her into his arms and celebrate her return, but at this very moment Jungkook didn't want to do any of that.
"I'm sorry.." He said as he unconnected her hand and placed his hand on her shoulders, so he can lightly push her back.

A frown was apparent on her face. "At least read the letter. You might just be happy."
Jungkook looked in the dorm and at the letter that was on the bed. He then looked back at her and nodded.
She hugged him one last time before saying her goodbyes.
Jungkook walked back inside his dorm. He sat on the bed and grabbed the envelope. Opening it, he slowly pulled out the card which had a little quote that read "I started missing you as soon as you said goodbye."
The sides of his lips curved into a small smile as he opened the card revealing a full note written.
Dear Kookie love,
I'm back Kookie! I came back because my mom is doing fine now! I want to apologize for losing touch with you. It wasn't my intention I promise. I hope you aren't too mad at me. I missed you so much. No words can explain how much I wanted to see you again. Luckily I'm back and I can see you whenever I want now hehe. I have a few things planned for us. I was hoping we could have dinner together soon maybe? Or plan a trip to the zoo because I know how much you love animals.
There's so much things that I would love to do with you. Words can't describe how much I miss everything we have done together. Since I'm back at the university I got a brand new dorm number. If you want to come see me my room number is 260 on floor 2. I love you!
Love, Eunmi ♡

Palus Somni
It is the final days after the end of the world and you only have one month left before the last sanctuary erupts into chaos. There's a dead body hanging from a tree and cadaverous giants watch you sleep at night. The end is already here, you just don't know it yet. Now rated in the top 3% of all novels on Royal Road! Palus Somni (‘Marsh of Sleep’) is a worldbuilding webnovel about what happens when your God forsakes you. Inspired by gothic horror and mingled with British myth and folklore, join the Alucinari nuns as they struggle with day-to-day life after the world has ended. Every night when the sun sets the monstrous Gol, colossal beings with too many teeth, awaken and roam the marshlands. Only those with a faithful heart will be spared. Young acolyte Wille has never seen the walls fail, but when a fellow nun is murdered within their sanctum the very safety of the monastery is thrown into question. Did the Gol find a way to breach their defences, or is there a human traitor amongst them? The answer lies both far in the past and deep beneath the earth, through the maze of ancient catacombs. With a cast of over thirty different characters, watch as your friends and enemies spiral into inevitable madness at the hands of a callous and unforgiving world. Discover the secrets of Palus Somni through letters, diary entries and notes found scattered across the monastery. Uncover the mystery of the grotesque giants that stalk the night and bring your challenge to the Gods themselves. Each character has their own handmade pixel art, and every update includes a music recommendation for a dark atmospheric dungeon synth album that you can listen to while you read. Slice of life meets cosmic abomination: Palus Somni is a collection of intertwining stories, some chapters are stand-alone tales while others feed into the overarching narrative. It is an exploration into a community, and rather than focusing on any one character the story meanders through the convent, exposing the hopes and fears of its inhabitants. Story updates every full moon.

Breakout: What Did I Get Myself Into?
The world is normal, and I mean completely run of the mill. People do boring things all the time, like controlling wind, moving at mach speeds and becoming able to demolish a building in one punch after eating. What...that's not normal to you? This is a world where the abnormal happens every day, thanks to super powered mutants called "Pathos". Enter: Capital City: An infrastructure with constructed on the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan, the basis for a school system of which the goal was to educate the Pathos on controlling their power in a safe place while also protecting those without power from being harmed. If you graduate, you could even rule the City one day! ...Or you could just take advantage of the free student housing and perfect the art of being a shut-in... Join Reito Usodachi, a lax and jaded, but surprisingly strong 15 year old boy who's in way over his head, on his adventures in Capital City... The only problem is, he may falter a bit when he gets a grasp of how weird the people in the City actually are. Even though he's read his fair share of media and the like, no amount of reading Manga or playing games could've prepared him for this. Amateur writer here! Trying my best on my first Original English Light Novel! (On a short hiatus!)
