《Book boy [DNF]》[18] "Is she your girlfriend?"

"Hi!" Bad was the one to address them, with a friendly smile. Niki had grown still, staring at him with wonder in her eyes. "What're your names?"
"Tom, Tommyinnit." Tommy was the first to step forth, with only Will and Tubbo to go on behind him. He pointed a finger at Clay and grinned, "I've spammed you on Twitter."
"Oh, how could I forget." Clay laughed and his gaze fell to George with a small grin.
"Tom. Call him Tommy, his ego's got to be shrunken. I'm Wilbur, that's Tubbo, and Niki over there, oh, and Gogy." The brunette snorted at the words, and Karl moved onto him with intent and a light grin.
"Gogy?" He asked and the brunette shrugged, "Dumb nickname they made up when we were in middle school." He shot a glare at Wilbur, who was too busy talking to Bad and Sapnap.
Quackity and Skeppy were indulging in a conversation with Tommy and Tubbo while Dream found his place next to George.
"Hi." He smiled, his gaze trailing the two individually, lingering on Niki a little more.
"Hi. Oh my- I'm sorry, I'm just so-" Karl laughed at Niki's reaction, and shook his head.
"It's fine, I understand. I mean, meeting your- presumable- Idols? It's a big deal. Did you two want autographs?" Karl winked at George, but he shook his head, finding it a bit weird, but Niki nodded, pulling out a notebook from her bag.
"So- How long have you guys been together?" Dream spoke, looking up at Niki, trying to sound confident. Niki cracked up at the words and George tipped his head, the edges of his lips twitching into a smile.
"We're- We're not dating." George laughed, looking at Niki, only to let out another laugh silenced by the hand on his mouth.

"Oh- Sorry." Dream mumbled, watching as Karl scribbled on the paper with a scrunched face, trining not to laugh, before pushing the notebook towards him, scribbling his dumb signature down.
"It's fine. I've had to deal with these lot for years, you won't believe the amount of times people have assumed me and the rest of them were dating." Niki muttered a 'thanks' when she got her notebook back.
"Do you want autographs from these idiots, too? Hey, Sapnap!" And there they went, scribbling down their signatures for a good friend of his.
"Why did you assume we were dating?" George looked up at Clay when their attention was elsewhere, and the blond blushed.
"Oh um- Nothing. You just, hung around each-other a lot so I assumed-"
"I'm gay."
The blond made an 'o' shape with his lips and then pressed them into a straight line. "Oh- Sorry, I didn't know."
"It's fine. And plus, we're friends. Their practically my brothers and sisters at this point." George shrugged. "Unfortunately."
Clay wheezed at the words and found himself smiling. "Did I do good?"
"You did terribly."
Clay pretended to be offended, placing his hand against his chest. "Excuse me? I thought it was you who was a fan of me."
"Hey! Don't say it like that, it's weird."
"Hogwarts nerd."
George gasped. "Seaweed brain."
"Mud-blood."
"Degenerate hero."
"Untalented wizard!"
Their bickering had gotten attraction from Sapnap and Wilbur, who laughed at their antics. "Well, it was nice meeting you guys." Bad finished.
"Can I snap a photo real quick?" Tommy asked.
"Yeah, sure." They all got into frame and Clay out his hand on George's shoulder, grinning.
"I want hugs!" Tubbo announced with a proud look on his face. Niki opened her mouth to tell him off but he was already diving into a hug with Big Q, Tommy at his side, calling him 'clingy as fuck' before he received a hug from Sapnap.

"Hugs, then?" Clay opened his arms for George to hug him but he went towards Karl, sticking his tongue out at him when he was in the hug, muttering 'seaweed brain.'
Clay gasped at his antics before Tubbo came in for a hug, Tommy following after. Wilbur gave a good ol' round of hugs, and George had to say, Wilbur gave very good hugs.
When everyone was hugged and worn, clay's hands still yearned to hold George. With a playful scoff, George came up and hugged him.
The gesture was small, and yet it made Clay's heart pound, and a grin emerge on his face. He placed a hand on George's head before truth and reality collapsed on his shoulders.
The tour would be over soon.
They had only a week left, to pack atleast, and the they were off- What would they do? Dream didn't want to lose George, he could tell you that much, but if fate demanded it, who was he to do anything about it?
He didn't know. He didn't fucking know.
But he did know one thing. He wanted to spend his last week with George. "Another marathon of Anne with an E season 2 at mines?"
George chuckled into his shirt and squeezed him only more before he turned away, looking up at him, smiling. He couldn't forget that smile. "Sure."
Dream froze for a second before taking off his tag necklace and handing it to George. "Here, um-" He wasn't aware that everyone was looking at them. "I'd rather you have it, I've got plenty at home." That was a lie, that one was his only tag necklace but it gave him luck.
Maybe he wanted his favourite person to have his luckiest trinket.
"Alright, we better get goin' then." Wilbur slurred, walking up to the brunette and placing his arm on his head, "It was nice meeting you."
"Yeah." George's gaze lingered on Dream, before Wilbur pulled him away and soon they were walking towards his car, buzzing with contempt and excitement.
Tommy, Tubbo, and Niki walked before them, retelling stories they had all witnessed in their own, special ways, while Wilbur and George hung back silently.
"He held onto you for a while." George fiddled with the tag and looked up to face Will.
"Did he? It felt really short, honestly." Wilbur hummed to himself, a smile twitching the corner's of his lips.
"Now I'm confused if he's a simp for you or if you're a simp for him." Wilbur laughed when George playfully whacked him in the shoulder.
"I'm not."
"Okay, so the person who told us he met him who knows how long ago who looked absolutely smitten, wasn't you?"
George squinted at Will. "No."
Wilbur snorted into the air and began to laugh, "Alright mate, whatever you say. But I'm serious, you had the longest hug I've ever witnessed, and he gave you his necklace-thing." Wilbur counted on his fingers, grinning. "Seems a bit suspicious to me."
"Shut up."

Unliving
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon, November 2021] For the longest time, Aideen Fiachna had only one prescient wish; to be the daughter her parents could take pride in. The idea was a tall order, especially as her father stood at the head of the Templar order, and her grandfather as the Pope. However, she endeavored to try nonetheless. Yet fate had a different path in store for her. For all her efforts, all her best laid plans, were but the broken off crumbs of 'one day'. That day, she was brutally slain by a vile, accursed undead being. Though, not even restful eternity awaited her in death. She awakened inside a coffin. Her coffin. During her own funeral wake. Discovering, to her horror, that she had risen. Not somehow resurrected, no, but back in the form of that most hated of beings--the curse of undeath. What will fate deal her next? Chapters will range from 1-2.5k words, scheduled for release every day from Monday to Friday. --------------------------------------- Expect: -Character progression in a journey of self discovery that spanned the ages -World building -Tragedy and Comedy in roughly equal measures -Occasional action Do not expect: -Much in terms of romance -Politics, barring passing views and mentions -A lighthearted tale. This story will be a good bit grimmer than my previous one Any comments, reviews, and criticism will be much appreciated. And thank you for reading. --------------------------------------- Disclaimer: This story is my original work and only posted on the Royal Road website. 8 107Primacy Online
Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, but using alien technology, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection built a new society from the ashes. He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Players from Earth's city-states will be locked in cryogenic capsules and play Primacy Online in War Mode. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. With her help and his method of cheating, he has the chance to become a virtual god within Primacy Online, but by taking up her offer, he will become an enemy of the Church. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend. Will Crom Cruach, once again, become a legend, or will he be destroyed by the Church? What secrets has the Church hidden inside the game?

So... It has come to my knowledge that I need a proper synopsis to post/save this so here goes a thing: Someone dies, and what comes after seems to be like one of those myths of old where you are brought to the afterlife, except, this particular soul's afterlife doesn't seem like it will be comfortable, will it? WARNING: I am only writing this because I want to see how long I can keep writing from here and I am only posting it in RR because I like the display. I advise you do not start reading it but if you do, know that I PROMISE NOTHING. Pd: I write in the night settings so it may be needed to see.
