《Book boy [DNF]》[15] "Concert jitters"

When the others got the news, they were ecstatic. George was especially happy to let Tommy and Niki know of the news, because both of them had been rather down since the now dubbed 'bar incident.'
Niki wouldn't stop talking about how excited she was, bounding up and down, gripping George's arms and swinging him around the room like they were 10 years old going to Disneyland for the first time.
Tommy, too, was excited. He joked that all he wanted to do was use them for clout- But George knew there was something more.
When the day came, they all spent a while getting ready. Niki and George, with Tommy sprayed out on the floor, already dressed and ready scrolling on Twitter.
He was wearing a white tee with a dark red jacket on his shoulders, high waisted brown trousers and vans with white socks.
"Do you think this looks better?" In all honesty, she looked fine now. Her short blond and brown hair bounced on her shoulders, an oversized white tee, with a box of birds flying within it, and a high waisted baby blue skirt that reached her knees.
"You look fine Niki!" George tried to convince the shorter, however she looked nervous. "Toms, back me up on this one.
Tommy lifted himself off the ground and eyed Niki, "Should I wear this, what I'm wearing, or that?" She picked up a dress with shirt, puffed sleeves and a skirt that reached her thighs.
"Wear what your wearing, you look more chill. Are you lot serious right now- Please, Gogy, tell me your dressed?" George eyed his outfit and winced inwardly.
An over waisted baby blue long sleeved sweater with high waisted ripped jeans and a nest of ruffled brown hair probably wouldn't do him well- But hey, he thought it looked nice.
"What do you think?" He stood up to show Tommy. The blond rolled his eyes and scoffed, nodding. "Yeah, you look great."
"Yeah, you do." Niki put in and she sighed, placing the dress back in the closet where she kept her clothes. "Can I crash at your place after the concert?"

"Is that even a question? Of course you can." George replied, dropping on her unused bed.
"Now, can we go?" Tommy sat up, annoyed, switching off his phone. When George nodded, he stood up and switched his phone off.
"Finally. You take too long." He spoke, annoyed, opening the door to the bedroom, leaning on the door frame to wait for the others.
George and Niki rolled their eyes and followed him out, getting a small bag with them, including: Money for merch (if they wanted any) water bottles, deodorant, an umbrella, and other nicknacks.
"Tubbo!" Tommy yelled, running up to the couch, flopping onto it, next to where his friend was sitting playing on his phone. "You won't believe how boring these two are. 'Oh Tommy, does this look good?' I don't know!"
Tubbo chuckled at his sentence, "Hey, we're going to a concert and The diamonds are going to be there, I would have thought everyone would do that."
I'm gonna see Clay preform, George thought to himself. The words hadn't yelled in his mind so clearly until now. He let out a snort, Clay, the child obsessed with Mythology, the guy that won't leave me alone, will be preforming.
"What?" Tommy asked, turning to look at him. George shook his head, putting his hands up in defeat. "Nothing, nothing."
"Alright, lads, are you ready?" Wilbur burst out of the door, giving them all quite a fright while he proudly walked down the hallway to the door. He wore an oversized beige sweater, with ripped jeans and black vans.
"'Cause I am."
"Who asked?" Tommy let out a chuckle, the beginning of a laugh at his very own words. Wilbur squinted at him, drilling into his gaze like he had demanded death.
"I guess you chose that route, didn't you?" He sighed, and cracked his knuckles. "Alright, come here Toms."
He ran, full speed to where Tommy was sitting. The former scrambled out of where he was sitting and jumped face first into the sofa. Before he could bound away, Wilbur caught him and kept him on the couch by laying on his back. "What's up, mate?"

"Will, get off!" Tommy mumbled, laughing, trying to shake the other off. George lifted his phone and snapped a picture, before Tubbo ran up to them and tried to pull Will off by his arms. He didn't make much progress.
George and Niki went to help Tubbo head first, pulling the brunette off the younger, setting him free. They dropped Will on the ground and stood over him, laughing.
"May I remind you," Wilbur began, getting up. "That I'm taller then all of you. And plus, I'm the only one who can get you to the concert."
"That's true." Tubbo scratched his chin, and turned to the others for an answer. Wilbur took out his truck's keys and swung them around his fingers, "C'mon lads, let's go before all the good parking spots are taken."
-
When they reached their destination, there were no good parking spots. They had to park before a nearby shop and run all the way to the place before the entrance would be swarmed.
They reached it eventually, and tugged eachother through the entrance. Niki was beyond herself, screaming internally with excitement while George was right there beside her, shaking and laughing.
Wilbur and Tommy thought they were idiots while Tubbo was a bridge between them, excited to hear all about the diamonds like a little brother following his older siblings.
They bounded towards the merch booth, which had only a few people waiting for it. "D'you think we're early, or all the good stuff's taken?" George asked.
"It's 8:30, and the concert starts in thirty minutes. All the good stuff's taken." Wilbur replied, switching his phone off.
"Aw," Niki hummed to herself. The two people that were waiting left, and they stood at the merch stands, silently. "D'you think it's worth it?" She asked.
"Hey, whatever makes you happy." Wilbur shrugged, "But I think that we should start heading to our seats. And plus the merch is cheaper online." He whispered the last bit in Niki's ear, and the group left to go and find their seats.
They found they were placed not too far but not to close to the stage- Tommy called it 'stupid' and 'dumb' and that they had gotten the worst seats, but George and Niki disagreed. Atleast they were there.
The opening act came out and performed their single. They would all be liars if they said they weren't jumping and dancing- Cheering, yelling out the lyrics to the song.
George had worked up some sweat, crawling down his back and clinging to the locks of his hair, but he didn't care. He was locked in a friendly dance with Tubbo, grinning at each other while they sang.
Even Tommy and Wilbur had been dancing along. Toms was spluttering out words as he didn't know what to sing and Wilbur told him multiple times that he was ruining the song, but they didn't care.
When the opening act left, the lights dimmed and everything went dark. George's eyes were glued onto the stage, awaiting something that he knew would come. He had watched live performances on YouTube before, and yet he didn't know what was to come.
His hand was tangled in Niki's fingers, a lock of his hair hanging in his forehead. In a blink of an eye, the curtain opened and the diamonds had blessed the stage with their presence- They spluttered out some words of 'hullo' but George was laughing, Niki was screaming and the rest of them were yelling and wooing.
Tubbo had even gotten onto Wilbur's shoulders to get a better view of everything, and they all clapped and cheered and whooped. They didn't bat an eye for the yelling folks behind them, although Tubbo had turned and told Will that maybe they shouldn't do what they were doing.
The man wouldn't listen, he was too far gone- Drunk from the loud beat, and the smiles on his friends faces.
George couldn't be more happier.
