Izuku left the toilets and headed to the exit, he crept slowly through the silent corridors listening out for any movement bar his own. Izuku continued closing in on the stairs that would take him to the first floor.
His ears pricked as he rounded the corner, it definitely did not sound like any student infact Izuku knew this voice well: it was basically his own; but older...
Shit! Aisawas was coming and he sounded
PISSED!
The teens eyes flicked left to right scanning the hall. Okay I guess I'm doing this the hard. Like a mouse Izuku made his way over to a large open window and climbed onto the window frame, he leaned forward, crouching.
Two storeys is nothing, he told himself, I do it all the time.
He heard asaiwa looming closer, getting quicker. The faculty must be onto him. Izuku stood up and without thinking leaped out into the air.
He landed smoothly rolling forward and getting straight to his feet, sprinting away. He did a little wave at Aisawa who had just made it to the window and shouted, "I'll be back soon." Before he disappeared out of view.
Izuk ran straight through the open gates and sprinted down the road till he found a walkway that led to a secluded part of the city. Now he'd be able to move quickly and quietly without any attention being drawn to him.
Izuku pulled off his poorly done tie and his blazer leaving it on the path as he went, if he has to he could get another or go back for the one he dropped.
He fished his phone from his pocket and messaged Kato,

'R u at school?' -izuku
'Ye, why?' -kato
'I'm coming to see you.' -izuku
'I'm in a lesson' -Kato
'Get kicked out or smthing' -izuku
'Fine, I'll wait outside for you. You owe me big time' -kato
'Sure, whatever, I'll see you soon' -izuku
Izuku continued through the streets to his old school, surprisingly he met no resistance and just like Kato said he was waiting at the entrance to the school. He was leaning against the wall with a phone in his hand yawning.
"Slacker." Izuku said as he approached.
"Awww. S h u t u p!" Kato retorted before turning to Izuku smirking.
"Come on," Izuku said, "let go."

In The Tall Grass
Elizabeth Wilson commits suicide. She was the golden girl among her peers in Darkwood, Washington who stood above the pressure of her drug-ridden town. Explore the summer before her senior year that triggered the domino effect of Elizabeth's emotional and psychological breakdown that lead her to take her own life. This is the prequel to the main story, Petrichor and was never intended to be made. I wrote this because I wanted to explore Elizabeth's character and show how the main characters have changed since this event. I decided to release this first because Petrichor is undergoing a full rewrite. In the meantime, I'm writing a side story called Mourning Glory that takes place between the second and third act of Petrichor. Development is going rather fast so I suggest to to read that if you like this story

The Traitor Games
Welcome to the Traitor Games, and congratulations on your invitation to join as one of the races putting on a show for the galaxy. Your species has been judged as too violent for integration into the Galactic Conglomerate and thus the decision has been made to relegate you to a probationary period during which members of your species will be pitted against each other in games of lies and betrayal. Unfortunate, but the great thing about a probationary period is that it can end! How can we do that; you might be asking. Well, that's easy, if those participants can earn enough points through playing the games, they can potentially buy out your probationary time. Of course, other rewards will also be on offer for success in the games, and if none of your species chooses to be selfless, well then it just goes to show that you wouldn't have been a good fit for us anyway. All those on Earth unlucky enough to not be chosen to become part of one of the most popular shows on Galactic Television, fear not. We will be streaming the various games your race is participating in all across the world. Should we run out of participants, even with our most generous three life system, we will draw more from the population. Good Luck! Noah Landry is one of these participants, he just doesn't know it yet. He blacks out while walking to the local bar McCaffery's, and finds himself, somewhere else. He's wearing clothing he doesn't remember putting on and rocking an absolute banger of a headache. Now he needs to figure out where he is, what's going on, and how he can get out of the Traitor Games. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
