《Yeji Imagines (gxg)》you're sick but scared of needles (requested)

"Can we get some help here?" Yeji asked as she carried you in her arms as she ran into the emergency room and over the front desk where nurses sat. "My girlfriend's sick."
"What's going on with her?" One nurse asked as she got up, pushing a button on the wall for the doors to open so Yeji could carry you in through them.
"I think she has the flu. She's been sick for the last couple of days. Vomiting, fever, dizziness. She's been resting but I woke up a little while ago when I heard her fall." Yeji explained. "I'm pretty sure she passed out."
She was clearly freaking out due to the panic and worry she was feeling about you.
"Okay. Everything will be just fine. Just follow me into the room here and I'll get someone to help you."
Yeji nodded and gently laid you on the hospital bed, where you opened your eyes soon after.
She couldn't help but breathe out a sigh of relief upon meeting your eyes.
"There you are, baby. You scared me." She said as she kissed your forehead.
A little while went by of them doing a few tests on you, mostly to make sure that you did have the flu as Yeji assumed and not something different or worse than that, as well as making sure that when you passed out you didn't hit your head and cause any serious damage to it.
Thankfully, everything was okay there and, just as your girlfriend assumed, you had the flu.
"Have you been staying hydrated?" The emergency room doctor inquisited. "Your girlfriend here says you've been throwing up a lot. Have you been drinking enough water in between?"
"I don't know." You confessed with a sigh. "I've been so out of it due to being sick that I don't exactly know."

"Well, that explains a lot because the reason why you fainted is that you're dehydrated. You have to always make sure you're drinking enough water and especially when you're sick, as you are right now. You're losing a lot of fluids and you need to make sure you drink some water because, well, this happens."
"I know." You said and Yeji kissed your head.
"She'll be okay, though?"
"Yeah. But I would like you to stay awhile longer while we give you an IV and you hydrate a bit."
Your eyes went wide at that.
"An IV?"
"Yeah. It's going to go right into one of your veins, either through your hand or your arm." He said and you groaned.
"A needle?"
"Yeah." He nodded. "It won't be bad."
You whined as the nurse walked in a couple of seconds later, a needle in her hand.
"It's not a big needle, my love." Yeji soothed.
"It doesn't make me feel any better, Yeji. A needle is still a needle, big or small."
Yeji chuckled and rubbed your shoulder comfortingly.
"I can't do it."
"Baby, you have to. It's going to help you feel better. This way we can go home and rest." She encouraged but you shook your head, clearly freaked out from the needle that the nurse was preparing to put into your skin.
"Left or right?" She asked, referring to the hand that you wanted it in.
"Neither." You mumbled.
"Babe," Yeji soothed. "It's okay. It'll be in before you know it and once you start feeling better, we can go home."
You still didn't want to but Yeji nodded to the nurse to put it in your right one and as she gently took it into her gloved one, you squeezed your eyes shut.

Yeji took your left hand into hers, brushing her thumbs across your knuckles comfortingly.
"Open your eyes, baby girl." She softly whispered. "Look at me. I'm here, right here."
You opened your eyes hesitantly, only to find Yeji's soft eyes already locking with yours.
"There we go, sweet girl. Squeeze my hand, I've got you."
You didn't have much strength due to being so sick but you did squeeze her hand as the needle went into your other one.
Yeji's heart broke a little upon seeing the look of worry on your face and hearing the whimper fall from your lips.
"All done." She whispered in your ear. "Good job, baby."
"Thank you for being here with me, Yeji. I think I would've fainted again if you weren't here for me to hold your hand through that."
This made both Yeji and the nurse chuckle and you laid your cheek on Yeji's shoulder, finding comfort in her there by your side.
Just as you have for the last couple of days while you've been so terribly sick and needed her more than ever.
"Anything for you, my girl." She said as she kissed your forehead softly. "You're going to feel so much better soon and then I'm going to spoil you with cuddles."
You couldn't help but smile at the thought, knowing you'll be using that as your motivation to get through the next couple of hours.

The Saga relates the events and personal histories of the men of the 3rd Marine Space Expeditionary Force and their bitter MAXWAR (mutually assured eXtinction war) against the alien Krag Subjugation. Told from the view point of the warfighters on the front lines, the blue collar workers who build and maintain the infrastructure that supports them, and the scientists and engineers who develop the technologies that power their victories on the battlefield. This mission, The Maggot Colony, relates the first part of the adventure, where their capital ship, The Good Shepherd, is critically damaged, and a small force is sent to establish an outpost on the surface of a nearby planet to secure much needed emergency supplies and fuel. The situation is desperate, the fighting is brutal and the technical challenges both in space and on the planet surface seem insurmountable.
