Xiao placed down his phone and leaned backwards on his chair. This entire mess was far too troublesome for the teal headed boy.

After he found out that it was you who was driving the car, things became much more complicated.

Before, he resented the driver for being so careless to the point of hitting someone. But once he found out that the driver was actually you, those feelings changed. He didn't know why, but he couldn't bring himself to feel angry towards you.

He couldn't hate you. In fact, he felt even more pain finding out that the driver was you because he felt bad about the guilt that you were now probably feeling.

He was fine with blaming himself, but it wasn't so easy blaming you. He couldn't figure out why this was so difficult for him. He had only known you for a month, yet he became attached.

The whole reason why Xiao had been avoiding you was because he didn't want to say anything that could possibly hurt you. Especially at a time where he's feeling so conflicted.

But how much longer could he keep that up? After all, he may not realize it, but he did want to speak to you once more.

He would do just about anything to go back to how things were before all of this happened.

And now, not only did he have this to deal with, but Zixin too. The very student he had a conflict with ever since elementary.
