"IT'S MY FAULT," Xiao quickly lifted his body upwards, awakening from the nightmare.

His entire face was flooded with sweat while he had trouble catching his breath. He inhaled and exhaled slowly, wiping his forehead.

'Just a nightmare,' he thought to himself. Soon, his room's door was opened. "What was that yell?"

"Are you alright?" A deep voice spoke. Xiao only nodded in response.

"Another nightmare? Do you want to talk about it?" The voice spoke again. Xiao nodded 'no' this time.

"Alright then. Try getting some more rest. If you need anything, give me a call," the man assured before closing the door.

Xiao laid back down, taking in one last deep breath. He closed his eyes in an attempt to go back to sleep, knowing full well it wouldn't work.
