I miss our love,
I miss the way we burned every last sliver of it
and expected it to last forever.
I miss our banters over text,
at two in the morning,
our endless conversations are the ones that
never seemed boring.
but now,
I lay still as I realize that
someone's getting that banter
and putting that smile on your face
but that someone isn't me anymore
and that's the truth I have to face.
