The Five Great Shinobi Nations were in a state of unrest. Chakra was flowing in waves towards an unknown destination, and the sheer amount made people afraid.

Konohagakure was almost in full blown panic. The kyuubi had just attacked their village, and right after it was finally sealed this happened. They could feel the remains of the kyuubi's chakra that was left after its attacks moving towards the woods. They didn't know what was happening. All they knew was fear.

The jinchuuriki were feeling the unrest more intensely than others. They could feel the parts of chakra their tailed beasts had left out in the world as it rushed past them. Chakra-remnants from all over the world were rushing together. The most sensitive of sensory-ninjas could detect nine distinct chakras from the massive assault of pure power.

Five days of disaster shook the world. Floods, wildfires, earthquakes, tornadoes, and storms covering the sky in lightning. On the sixth day, a eerie silence followed. As the full moon graced the sky, an intense wave of energy like nothing ever felt before by the creatures of the world swept over the land. The moon shined blood red, turning the sky into an ominous crimson.

The nine bijuus perked up inside their jinchuuriki. This hadn't happened for thousands of years, but they were familiar with it. The remnants of their chakra that had been left all over the world was converging, pulsating in it's ridiculous mass. They knew what was happening. They felt it, in the depths of their souls.

This was the birth of a tailed beast.
