"So how have you been?" Miss jones asks me

"Fine" I say out of habit

"Any nightmares?" She asks me with a raised eyebrow and it's almost like she waiting for me to lie

"Yes" I tell her the truth "things that I thought I blocked out"

"Maybe if you talk about it, it might help you" she says like it's that easy

I shake my head "I'm not sure I'm ready yet"

She nods "it's okay. You will know when your ready"

Samara took me to my appointment which I appreciate.

"Thanks for taking me" I tell her

"Yeah of course" she says like its no big deal

"You don't think I'm uh like weird?" I ask just wanting to know if she actually wants to be my friend or she just playing me or something

"Yes" she says instantly without hesitation

"What?" I look at her with wide eyes because I didn't think she would actually say yes

"I'm weird too" she shrugs "that's why I like you and Felix you guys are weird" she smiles

"You want to be weird?" I laugh

"Yeah because there's nothing wrong with it" she smirks

She pulls in my driveway "later weirdo" I joke

"Same too you" she waves

I go up to my front door and open it. "Aunt Lora in home" I say

"Hey" aunt Lora says from the couch but I notice she's not alone

"Hey there" tom waves and I try my best not to roll my eyes at him

"Um hey?" I say slightly confused as to why he's here

"Well i better be going but I'll see you tonight" tom says as he gets up from the couch

"Um yeah yeah" Lora nods

"Bye Jessica" tom says as he walks by me

"Bye Tomas" I say sarcastically to him

He gives me a look of annoyance but keeps walking. I lock the door as soon as he shuts the door.

"What are you and tom doing tonight?" I ask a little curious

She sighs a little "he wants to take to dinner"

"If you don't want to go you can just say no" I tell her as I sit next to her on the couch

"I know but I mean he's a nice guy and so I should give him a chance" she shrugs

"He doesn't seem like your type"

"He's not but maybe that's a good thing you know I don't have the best taste in guys" she laughs humorlessly

"We'll have fun." I tell her I mean I do want her to be happy even if it is with tom

As soon as aunt Lora leaves for her date with tom, I text Felix and ask him if he wants to watch a movie and surprisingly he said yes. I don't think me and Felix are considered friends but we understand each other and have this sort of bond that's hard to describe.

I walk next door and knock on the door. Felix answers and gives me a small smile and moves to the side to let me in.

"So did you pick a movie?" I ask him as I walk in

"Yeah um sinister is actually about to come on. If that's okay?" He asks me as he walks over to the living room

"Yeah that sounds good" I say i used to love scary movies but now I feel like I live in a horror film so I don't usually watch them, but at least Felix is here with me

Felix makes us popcorn and we sit on the couch, I do have to admit I have jumped a couple times and every time I do Felix laughs a little.

"You do like scary movies right?" He asks me and I can tell he's worried that I'm going to be scared

"Yeah but I jump pretty easy" I laugh a little embarrassed

"I jumped the first time I watch this but now I've seen it so many times it doesn't bother me anymore" he shrugs

"I can't imagine you scared of something"I say

He laughs humorlessly "everyone scared of something"

I give him a small smile and he gives me one back.

After we finish the movie I notice my aunt is still not home yet. "I guess they went to do something after dinner" I say making conversation

"He's been trying to get a date with your aunt for awhile I'm sure he's trying his best to impress her" Felix says

"Do you not want them to date?" I ask him even though he said in the past that he didn't want them to date but he might of just said That to make me mad

He puts a hand through his hair "I just know my dad and I don't want him to hurt your aunt" he says looking away from me

"So you think he will?"

"I know he will. I mean I talk to him about it but he doesn't take me serious" he shrugs and he looks kind of sad

"Thank you for talking to him though. I don't want her to get hurt either" I smile at him appreciating that he cares

He gives me a side smile and he looks like he's about to say something but his phone goes off, he looks at it "dad texted me and said he's on his way home"

"Okay. Do you mind if I use the bathroom really quick?" Not ready to leave just yet at least until I know aunt Lora home

"Yeah go ahead" he says

I go up stairs to the bathroom and as I'm about to open the door I see someone shoes on the other side of the door. I freeze my hand on the door nob for some reason I have a bad feeling but that's weird because I know it's probably just Felix.

I open the door and no ones there but I hear a noise coming from one of the rooms "Felix?" I say as I walk towards the noise
