'Ring' 'Ring'

I look down at my phone to see Mary calling me.

"Hello" I answer

"Hey" she greats back

"How's everything?" I ask her

"Good but really wish you were here I mean I love Kate and all but so much Kate goes a long ways" she sighs

"I understand" I laugh "I miss you guys too"

"Sooo tell me everything that's going on" I hear her giggle "like Felix for instance"

"All I can say about Felix is he's a jerk with a couple of somewhat nice moments" I laugh "I'm actually going to a party Friday"

"What?!" She squeals with excitement "okay what are you wearing?" She says like its a major decision

"I don't know yet a girl from school is coming over before the party and she's going to get ready here and take me to the party" I tell her

"Is she nice?"

"Yes you would like her"

"Okay remember don't drink to much because well remember last time" she laughs a little "but most importantly have fun"

"You say it like I don't know how to have fun" I laugh

"Well" she trails off

"Yeah yeah" I say

"you better call me after and tell me every single detail and if you meet a guy don't tell eli he will go in protective brother mood" she laughs

"Well you can tell Eli I'm not going to meet any guy so he has nothing to worry about"

"Well just enjoy yourself you need it" she says

"I will. I'll call you later" I tell her

"Okay bye" she says and hangs up

I go downstairs to the living room to see what aunt Lora doing.

"Hey" I say as I sit on the couch

"Hey" she smiles

"So um is it okay if I go to a party tomorrow?" I ask her

"Yeah you need to have some fun but if you drink call me and I'll come pick you up" she say

"Okay thanks"

"Tom called me" she says all of a sudden

"O what did he want" I can't help but roll my eyes

"He asked me out" she say in a non enthused way

"What did you say?"

"I said yes" she sighs

"Why?"

"Well maybe he won't think it's a date all he said was if I wanted to get dinner" she says

"Yeah I already know in his mind it's a date" I say

"Well it won't hurt I don't go out much" she shrugs

"Yeah well if it's going bad text me and I'll call you and tell you I need you and to come home" I smirk

"Thank you" she says like that's a great idea
