"I'm home" I yell as a habit as I walk into my house

"That's right no ones here" I whisper to myself

I go upstairs and go ahead and do my homework, I guess I've been in here longer than I thought.

"Hey" my aunt says opening my door

"Hey you just get home?" I ask her

"Yeah. I was thinking we could go out to eat" she says

"Yeah sounds great" really wanting to get out of the house

We go to a burger place in town.

"So is school getting better?" My aunt asks me

"Yeah" I shrug

"Is Felix being nice?"

"He's just Felix" I say since he doesn't know what nice really is

"Have you talk to Eli and Mary lately?" She asks me

"Yeah about every day" I tell her

"If you want this summer to stay with Mary you can" she gives me a small smile

"Thanks" I give her a small smile

"I talk to the realtor no ones bought the house and he doesn't think anyone ever will. He said something about probably turning the house into some kind of museum since uh so much has happened there" she says sadly about the cane street house

I don't think anyone should live in that house it's cursed but to make it into a museum? It seems disrespectful I mean people were murdered there Luke was murdered there and now there's going to be tours making up lies and saying so called facts that aren't true about what happened.

"O" is all I say to her

"I'm sorry" she says trying to comfort me

"Why don't they just tear the place down" I sigh not hungry anymore

"Because of all the history and if they can make money off of it" she rolls her eyes

"How's work?" I sigh really wanting to change the subject

"Good they keep me busy" she gives me a little smile, I know she always feels so bad when she has to work but she shouldn't I mean she has a lot of responsibility trying to prove herself at her knew job and I know she's still getting used to being my guardian, her life change completely too when my parents died. She lost her older sister and then had to be responsible for me when she's never had to be responsible for anyone in her entire life but herself, I know she trying as hard as she can.

After dinner we go straight home both tired.

"Night" she says as goes into her room

"Night" I say and go to my room

I quickly get ready for bed, I walk to my window about to close the curtains.

I see Felix sitting on his bed like he's deep in thought, he looks so sad but he always look sad for some reason. He acts like a grouch but when you look at his eyes they have no life in them.

He reminds me of myself after everything that happened and I would say I'm all better and happy now but that would be a lie.
