Fluttershy's POV:

I sat on my bed singing softly to my favorite song.

I heard a knock on the door, I turned off the music and got up. "Who is it?" I asked.

"It's Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie said from the other side of the door. I opened it slowly to make sure it was just her.

It wasn't just her.

"Was that Halsey?" Twilight asked.

I nodded. It made sense that Twilight would come, they were dating. Plus Twilight was a bit more down to Earth than Pinkie Pie. Who at the moment was literally floating on a balloon.

"So... how are you doing? Better?" Twilight asked,

I shook my head and hugged my pillow tight to my knees, which were pressed firmly against my chest.

"Do you wanna talk about it, because if you do... we're here to listen." Pinkie said, and plopped on my bed, Twilight did the same.

I paused, thinking about if I could spill my feelings to these two. Even if they were my best friends.

"You know what helps me?" Twilight started, I looked at her, "Music! You should turn your music back on, it'll definitely help you with what's wrong." She finished. That seemed like a good idea. I scrolled through my playlist, put on my favorite song, and decided to talk.

Twilight's POV:

Fluttershy opened her mouth and started to speak, "Well... it's just that..." She was winding up, taking deep breaths. Either she was about to hit us with a doozy, or this was emotionally painful for her. "It's just that I've had a crush on Rainbow since we were kids and I'm just now realizing it, and I thought she liked me too for a second. She was being so nice and she started talking to me more and I saw her get jealous when I went out with Thunderlane. She let me sleep on her lap, and I'm sorry for putting my feet on you Pinkie, and then she goes and has sex with someone else. I mean, I know we're not really a couple but I thought that we had something going and now I don't think that we do."

Turns out... it was both. She started crying, and I reached out and hugged her.

"Hey, perk up Flutters!" Pinkie said, "I don't mind you putting your feet on my head, it was for a worthy cause. I will not, however, sit here and listen to you be sad over something Rainbow did. Rarity and Applejack will be sleeping over with me and Twilight again tonight and I want to know if you'll come. I promise that Rainbow will not be there." Pinkie finished by reciting her famous Pinkie Promise mantra.

Fluttershy reluctantly agreed, and let Pinkie and I lead her to my car.

Rainbow's POV:

Pinkie Pie was right. I was such a fucking idiot.

I mean, it was true that Fluttershy and I weren't dating, and I was allowed to have sex with whoever I wanted. That doesn't mean I should.

To be honest, I was just pissed at Fluttershy. I was mad at her for accepting that date with Thunderlane, even if it didn't end well. Even though everything ended up okay... I was still jealous, as much as I hate to admit it.

I needed to talk to her and make this right. I whipped out my phone and sent her a text.

--Text Conversation--

RD: Fluttershy I really need to talk to you... are you home?

F: No I'm with Pinkie Pie. Rainbow I really don't feel like talking right now.

RD: Fluttershy I'm sorry! Okay? I need to talk to you, and I don't think I can take you being mad at me.

F: Rainbow Dash I just don't want to talk right now, so would you mind leaving me alone? If you're okay with it, that is. I might talk to you later.

--End Of Conversation--

Ugh! Why does she have to make things so damn complicated?! I couldn't stand her not talking to me.

I slipped on my hoodie, sprayed some cologne, and went over to Pinkie's.

I knocked on the door, and heard a resounding "Who is it?" from Pinkie Pie.

"It's me Pinkie." I said, "I need to talk to Fluttershy. Please let me in."

"Be right back!" She yelled, then came back about a minute later with, "Fluttershy doesn't wanna talk to you."

I groaned, "Pinkie Pie! I know she doesn't want to talk to me, but I need to see her."

Pinkie groaned too. A few minutes later she walked out with Fluttershy.

"Okay Rainbow, you have fifteen minutes." Pinkie frowned, and went inside.

"Listen, Fluttershy I need to apologize. I was just angry that you went out with Thunderlane. I felt like you were doing it on purpose, just to hurt me, even though now I realize that you would never do that. I was angry, and I wanted to get you back. What I did was unforgivable, and I don't expect you to forgive me. I know we've been going super slow with things, but that doesn't give me the right to disrespect you. We aren't officially a couple Fluttershy. I want to change that." I said.

I got down on one knee, and took out a box from my pocket. I opened it to reveal a promise ring I had bought a few days ago. "Fluttershy, will you be my girlfriend?"

Fluttershy's POV:

This was probably the most romantic thing anyone has ever done.

I slowly took the ring and placed it on my finger. "Yes, oh Dashie yes!" I screamed as I hugged her tight.

Rainbow Dash was my girlfriend. Rainbow Dash was my girlfriend.
