I couldn't remember much.

My memory was decaying. The rough impact to the head caused by the loud explosions was menacing. No one expected it and it took everyone off guard.

"Emily!" I heard Hunter's voice scream from behind the darkness I was in at the moment. "Emily!"

"She's still alive, we have to get the baby out now." an unfamiliar voice said.

I still remained in the darkness, waiting for me to open my eyes and know what was happening.

"I thought Grey was protecting her!?" Hunter sounded furious and I couldn't blame him. Grey wasn't with me at that time but outside, guarding from the exterior. So maybe when they saw the TNT falling from the air, they never caught glimpse of it in time. Good thing it hadn't landed directly at us, but in the kitchen mostly.

It could reflect on the dream I had.

"She's alright, calm down sir-"

"No she's not! Then explain that dangerous injury on her! Explain!" He sounded dangerous and mad.

"She'll be okay! Just calm down!" Another voice said, but this one seemed of a woman.

"Grey! I'll kill you!"

"It just came!" Now I could hear Grey, his voice was shaky and quiet. "I didn't expect it..."

"And what if it landed where she was!?" Hunter asked in anger and it took long for him to reply.

That was the last I heard any voice, I couldn't hear anything at all.

My eye lids were heavy and I struggled lifting them up. Followed by my struggle to open them, a sharp pain hit my left arm as I flashed my eyes open and gave a sharp piercing scream when the pain had magnified.

I stared down at my arm and screamed in horror at how unrecognizable it was. It was still alive, but I wouldn't say a scar wasn't going to show up. The skin was in shreds, not rough deep shreds, but shallow shreds. It was going to be okay, I wasn't going to lose it for sure.

"Emily," I felt a hand grip on my right wrist, I glanced to my side only to see Hunter looking worried as he stared at me. "They said they'll fix you... I'm so sorry, love. I wish I was there." He whispered and I smiled admirably at him.

"It hurts so bad.... Wait... Where's my baby!?" I panicked, noticing I was not as round as before and Hunter softly stroked my arm.

"She's okay," he said, smiling softly, "she's completely fine."

"Can I see her?" I asked and he nodded, standing up with a weak smile on his face. He walked out and I found myself lonely again.

A doctor walked in but without my baby, instead, he was carrying a tray of medicines. She walked to me and began treating my wound. The chemical she used was kind of cold and reduced the heat sensation around my open wounds, it wasn't long until she bandaged it carefully and the pain was gone at last. It was cold and very comfortable.

"Just take care of it." She smiled and walked out.

I huffed out a breath as I folded my hands, getting impatient. The door opened and Grey walked in, slowly rocking our baby. I giggled in excitement when he smiled widely, walking to me. He sat beside me and chuckled as he lowered her to me. Her gorgeous brown wide eyes were what caught my attention first, though she was crying loudly and screaming.

"She's beautiful." I whispered as tears blurred my vision. Grey chuckled with a proud smile on his face, I noticed Hunter wasn't here, I knew he wouldn't be around for someone else's child. "You picked her name?" I asked, stroking her cheek only to have her stop crying slowly.

"I wanted you to pick it out." Grey said, kissing my forehead but never taking his eyes off her.

"Oh, okay," I was so excited, I had to pick her name out!? "Her name should be Scarlet, she's strong, brave and beautiful. My little Scarlet." I giggled and he nodded with pride.

"I thought if Velvet, but Scarlet is way better." He said as he let her grab hold if his finger.

"She'll be Scarlet Velvet. Middle name Velvet." I said and he nodded in agreement.

"My little Scarlet." He whispered and I chuckled, staring down at our little girl who had stopped crying.

The door suddenly burst open and Hunter rushed in, looking in a panic.

"They found out about her, we have to go right now!" Hunter said and not before long, sharp screams of fellow wolves tore the atmosphere. "Hurry!"

Grey got off the bed with one swing of his legs and gently lifted the baby off the bed, I knocked the covers off and got to my feet.

"I'll hold them back, You take them both far from here." Hunter told Grey and I frowned at him. He was just wishing to die, wasn't he?

Grey handed me my Scarlet and grabbed onto my wrist as Hunter led the way out of the room. I hugged Scarlet to my chest with one hand, trying to shield her from the flying bits of concrete caused by explosions outside.

I was suddenly brought to a stop when that Hallow I made a deal with stood right in front of us, reaching out his left hand for me to give him my Scarlet.

"Emily." It hissed and I shook my head, taking a few steps back.

"Deals off, you can't get her," I said as tears blurred my eyes. This wasn't happening. No. "Take me if you have to... Just not Scarlet..."

"Fool!" It hissed in anger now, growing into something menacing. "I never go back on deals." It said and before Hunter could even grab it, it disappeared with no trace, I sucked in a breath as I looked around. It reappeared right in front of me and swung its claws at me and Scarlet, I shut my eyes for the worst, knowing there was no escaping a hallow.

Yet nothing came.

I opened my eyes moments later only to discover it had stopped and was on its knees, head held low in defeat. I looked down at Scarlet who's eyes were glued on the Hallow in front of us. Grey gave out a sigh of relief and walked back to the hallow, reaching his hand out and tried to touch it only to have his hand go through.

"A Bronze...." Hunter gasped as he looked at Scarlet. "No wonder they want to kill her."

"Bronze wolves can over power hallows?" I asked, walking around the hallow still kneeling.

"That's the smallest thing they can do, If she grows up with a dark heart, who knows what she can do, Bronze wolves are dangerous, you have to make sure she grows up right," Hunter said glared at Grey who raised both brows in question. "I'm talking about you Grey, if you want to be a good father to her get the boiler room out of your head for a while. "

Grey snorted and rolled his eyes just before he was interrupted by other sharp screams.
