Johnny's POV

We're all sitting around in the waiting room waiting to see if there's any update on Brian. I still can't believe he's in a coma. I never thought anything like this would happen to any of us. It's a scary thing when you think about it. Knowing there's a slight chance you may lose one of your best friends. Matt said we're not going to announce it to the rest of the world just yet. He said we should wait at least until we know he won't be waking up any time soon. Everything just happened today, so we can't jump to any conclusions or release anything about it yet.

“I wonder how long until we hear back from the Doctor,” Jimmy sighs.

“I dunno, man. I'm hoping soon.”

“I think once they've got him all stable and stuff we'll hear back,” Matt adds.

“Yeah I hope so and hopefully they'll let us go in and see him.”

“Hopefully.”

“I'm hungry,” Becca sighs.

“Do you wanna go grab something to eat in the cafeteria, baby?”

“Yes please.”

“Alright come on,” he smiles.

“I'll tag along too if you don't mind,” I say.

“Of course you can tag along, Short Shit.”

“Thanks, Jim.”

He smiles at me then the three of us head to the cafeteria.

“I wonder what kind of food they have here.”

“I'm sure they have all sorts of food.”

I'm listening to them talk about food when something clicks in my head.

“Wait. Did you call her baby back there?” I ask.

“Yes,” Jimmy chuckles. “We're together now.”

“Fucking finally. I was rooting for you two all along.”

“Thanks Johnny,” Jimmy laughs.

“Any time. You two seem perfect for each other.”

“Thank you.”

He smiles at Becca and she smiles back. They really are perfect for each other. They're the cutest couple I've seen. I haven't dated since Lacey and I broke up, so it's nice to have a happy and cute couple around. I really wasn't a fan of Jimmy's previous girlfriend and I'm sure glad he dumped her ass. She was annoying and not to mention a money loving snob. The rest of us couldn't stand her, but Jimmy was completely oblivious to that. I honestly don't know what he even saw in her. Whatever though, she's gone and that's all that really matters. Becca's amazing and I know she'd never be like Amber. She really truly cares about Jimmy, not his money and fame. That's what I like about her. I know Brian feels the same and I hope he makes it out okay to see that Jimmy and Becca are together. He'll be happy.
