He had to take many breaths and count to ten before he could lift his head and see the figure standing in front of him. The man was dressed all in black, through the red veil, Xiao Zhan could see that the man was tall and with a strong build.

But when he saw his face, his whole body froze. Xiao Zhan blinked for a couple of times and even squinted his eyes, wondering if he had a vision problem.

Clearly it had to be that or he wouldn't be seeing this person here, in front of him who was looking at him as if it would devour him if he made one false move.
