《Fusion Online》Chapter 7: The Senate Commandos

"So how exactly are we suppose to win this game?" Heather asks, sitting behind her desk, her hands placed on the marble top desk, and her fingers intertwined. On her desk is a small hologram projector, and as it name armor being, just like everyone else sitting around him, a Senate Commando. The difference would be his white pattern, which instead of being like flowing lines, is straight and dotted. His pattern being a few lines that connects to a corner of a box, and then the corners of he boxes would have dotted lines and connecting to another box. Most of the boxes are not large, but the three large ones being on the left-front part of his helmet, on his shoulder guard, and on the right part of his chest plate.

With the announcement, Heather's mind starts connecting the dots. "So we defeat all the bosses and win?" Heather asks. "No, there is more to it that that." Calem answers, inclining a few inches foreword. "Then what else?" The white and purple clone armored commander asks once again, shifting to the right side of her chair, places her right hand near the corner of her desk and taps her desk with her fingers several times in a bit of annoyance that she wasn't correct while her left hand is on the center of the desk.

"The game also has the capturing mechanism similar to that of Star Wars Battlefront II." A 21 year old female Senate Commando says, sitting on left end of the semi-circle. Everything seems the same on her armor, all but her white design. The lines start on a circle and connects to other circles with a straight line. She of course also has several circles and designs painted on her armor, the most noticeable would consist of the large one on her shoulder guard, and the a medium sized one on the top center of her chest plate. Just like almost most of female adults, her chest plate has been specially made to fit her properly, making it comfortable for her to wear. "After we win on both major battlefields," she continues. ", a boss will appear in a dungeon like place. The dungeon could be underground, on land, under the ocean, or floating in the skies, depending what kind of boss the planet has." She finishes.

"Once we capture a planet. How long till the dungeon appear?" Heather inquires. "About two days later. For the reason being that it's not just about capturing a planet, but being able to defend it." The female Commando answers the question.

"You might be curious to what bosses that you might encounter on the planet." A male Commando at the age of 23, sitting on the left side of Calem speaks. His Commando armor being of the same color as the rest, but his pattern isn't very unique. He doesn't have any white lines on his chest plate or helmet, just in his shoulder guard, which is a white shark's jaw opening, as if it was ready to bite into its prey. "Well, we have reasons to believe that the bosses will be either a mutant version of a monster, or an enemy general." He informs the red eyed commander. Heather nods at the information given to her. "How did you gather this information?" Heather asks. Even though being approximately 1/4 of year since the beginning of the game, not a lot of people have heard of bosses. "With Yavin being one of our starter planets, as well for Korriban, Wayland, Bonadan, and Dantooine. A lot of players discovered dungeons their and reported these sightings. After consideration we send a huge raid group and won on all the starter planets with no casualties. But there's a leveling mechanism that is connected to them"

"And what will that be?" Heather raises an eyebrow

"First of all, they are usually always 5-10 levels higher than the average amount of levels the raid party has. This does not mean that a few players in the raid group won't be a higher or equal to the boss. Second, that as long as the boss lives, leveling will become harshly tougher. Almost each level of experience will be almost twice as much EXP needed to level up." The last member to speak answers. This commando is a male, age around 22, he has a white pattern that is really plain. Just a few white lines going horizontally on his chest plate, two on his helmet, and his shoulder guard has what looks like a the letter E. This information causes Heather to widen her eyes. Not only was leveling hard because animals and beast on planets only gave a small amount of EXP, but finding rogue or defected enemy was not only hard but dangerous. Everyone thought that stormtroopers would be easy because they had bad accuracy. But in reality, they may have better accuracy than half of the players stuck in the game. "This game is getting harsher by the second" the commander murmurs.

"That will be all. We will keep you up to date" the transmission ends. Heather sighs as she spins on her swivel chair to where her back is facing the left side. "This means we have to start raiding planets. But I can't just send the players under my command into combat without at least trainings I mean we are in a video game. But they still need training" Heather talks to herself. She puts her right arm in front of her in a 90 degree form, with that she presses a few buttons on her A.R.C wrist controls and calls Max.

"Yea?" Max says in a normal tone. "Max, I want for all the players on this ship to start going through at least weekly training, even if it's 2 hours a week. Even though this is a video game and a lot of people know how to place FPS's, they still need to hone their skills. Got it?" She tells her second-in-command. "Yea sure. But what if they don't want too?" Max asks. "Then they have to leave the guild and have to float their way home." Heather says, even though she knows that space in this game still has no oxygen. The properties of space is more like a swimming pool. It won't explode your brain but if you don't have a helmet with some source of oxygen, you will die once you stop holding your breath. "That's very thorough" Max says. "Well, I'm sure no one would mind training against each other and try to make it to the leaderboard" Heather thinks up of a motivation for the other players to start training. "And the prize is?" The red hair second-in-command asks, his curiosity peeked. "How about 100 credits bonus every week" The commander says. "Then sign me up to training as well" Max says as he ends the call and starts telling everyone in the ship about the scoreboard and training. And with that, they now have a reason to train and a way to free themselves from the reality they are in.
