Last part of Always There! Enjoy!

The art festival finally came. I have a big cloth covering my painting. Jem was impatient to peek. However, I slipped off. As soon as I left, I found Dawn reserving an empty easel for me.

I placed my covered painting on it. The sheet stayed put. When Jem found me, she was like, "C'mon. When can we see it?"

"You will see it."

"Can I have a sneak peek?"

"No. You'll ruin your surprise."

Mom, Rylee, and Henry came up. Mom said, "Jemina, leave her alone."

"Okay."

The other adults and kids show up at last. One kid spoke. "Why is your painting white?" My hand stretched out. I pulled the sheet off. Everyone gasped.

It was a painting of a meadow. It's different from the last one. Among the flowers are my parents, Jem, Rylee, Henry, and me. Golly's on my shoulder. In the background, the sun is setting.

"Wow, that looks great!" some adults said.

Others beamed with delight. Mom rewarded me with a hug. Jem said, "I'm sure Ms. Stanley and Dad would be thrilled by this." I smiled as I know they are with me and will be. Always.
