"Hi, Ms. Stanley. I'm here." Silence was all I can hear. "Hello?" I checked the living room. She wasn't there.
"Ms. Stanley!"
No response. I checked the kitchen.
Nothing. The bathroom was empty.
I searched everywhere.
Finally, I came to her bedroom. She is in her bed. Assuming she was sleeping, I waited in the living room.
Hours passed as I anticipated for Ms. Stanley to be awake. I returned to her room. Ms. Stanley's laying very still. I checked her pulse. Horror came for a call. "No, no! Ms. Stanley, wake up! Get up!"
