Jeff has been classmates with her since the third grade and now that they're in freshman year of high school, he realizes that he is slowly falling for his best friend. But it seems like she is falling for the new guy in class and the latter happens to be good friends with both of them.

What does a guy do when the girl he loves, loves someone else?

I wrote this after writing The Boy with the Chestnut Brown Hair. This is a short story but each chapter is more like a compilation of events so there will be less narration for each scene, but it'll give you a glimpse of the gang's high school life.

This can be read as a standalone short story but it is best to read after TBwtCBH. So if you haven't already, I suggest you read that before starting this. If you won't, it's okay, but expect major spoilers about TBwtCBH here.
