Cyrus's pov

The rest of the night was kind of a blur.

Vanessa ended up finishing her song, but she said she wouldn't sing it yet until tomorrow.

I don't even know anymore. I had no clue Vanessa was friends with Kira. There's nothing wrong with it of course, but really? Kira? Why her.

Vanessa could be friends with anyone she wants and she decided to befriend a girl who only wanted to manipulate people? I feel like I'm overthinking this but, am I really?

As my eyes were slowly beginning to shut, I heard someone starting to get up.

I looked to my left and saw Tj getting up.

"Tj?" I said while yawning

"Oh sorry, did I wake you up?" He said looking down at me.

"No. I couldn't sleep anyways." I said sighing

"Oh, neither could I" He said while beginning to sit down again.

It was silent for a few minutes, and Tj began laying back down. When he did, he turned to his right and faced me.

"hi" he said smiling at me.

"hi" I said giggling a little.

god why do I always giggle when I'm around him?

It was silent again, but it was a nice silence. We stared at each other for a few minutes, smiling like idiots.

"Well, goodnight" Tj said closing his eyes.

I turned to my left side and finally said something.

"Goodnight Tj." I said while closing my eyes, and drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

I woke up hearing pictures being taken. I opened my eyes slightly and saw everyone in the room looking down at me.

I was so confused and started looking around. My eyes landed on Tj, who had his arms around my torso. my face suddenly became hot, and I wanted to get out of this situation, but I didn't wanna wake Tj up. He just looked so cute.

"Oh look cyrus is up" Vanessa said while still taking pictures with her phone.

"What are you guys doing?" I said whispering, and looking at Tj every second to make sure he wasn't up yet.

"What does it look like we're doing?" Andi said.

I stayed silent and Vanessa rolled her eyes and started talking. Oh lord.

"We're taking pictures of..." she started saying

I was confused, and suddenly became nervous.

She better not start yelling.

She smirked slightly and looked at the others.

"TYRUS!" They all screamed.

If my face wasn't already red, it was now.

I slowly looked to my left and saw that Tj was up. Of course he was. They screamed so loud that they could wake the dead.

me and Tj looked at each other, our faces both as red as a tomato.

"Oh stop it. You guys are so overdramatic." Vanessa said while putting her phone in her back pocket.

"We have to get to school." Andi said pointing at the clock that was sitting on her light yellow side table.

I looked at the clock and it said 7:20

oh god. I only have 20 minutes to get to school

"I'm gonna go get ready" I said while I untangled myself from TJ's arms.

When we left to walk to school, it was 7:30, so we only had 10 minutes to get there.

As we got closer to the school, i got more excited when I soon realized that Vanessa would be singing her song today.

When we got to the oddly tall building, I heard kids talking so loud that my ears began to hurt.

When the bell rang I walked to my first class, and sat down in a seat.

"That was awkward" I heard someone say from beside me.

I turned my head in confusion and saw Tj looking at me and smiling.

"Oh. Yeah it was" I said laughing nervously and looking back down at the desk.

"I'm sorry for that. I didn't mean to rap my arms around you, I think I must've done it in my sleep" Tj said his smile disappearing.

"No it's ok. I kinda liked it" I said smiling like an idiot.

I got nervous, but suddenly became calm when TJ's smile appeared once again.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, until lunch time came. I ran to where I normally sit, and saw Andi and Buffy sitting over there.

"Where's Vanessa?" I said while sitting down.

"Oh she's getting ready to preform" Andi said smiling widely.

"But I thought her performance was after school" I said in confusion

"Oh it is. She just needs to prepare her outfit, and she has to rehearse her song so she doesn't mess up when she's singing. It's a lot of work to preform a live song on stage." Buffy said.

"Oh" I said

"Where's Tj?" Andi said while smirking at me.

"Andi stop. We are just friends. Nothing more. And it won't be anything more. Ok? Why would we even date? We can't date." I said with a stern tone.

Andi and Buffy both shared a look of annoyance, and started laughing.

I started laughing with them, and was about to say something else, until the expressions on their faces turned from happy to frightened.

"What's wrong?" I said looking at them both.

They were looking behind me, and I was so confused. I turned around and saw Tj standing there. He looked like he was about to cry, and I wanted nothing more then to just hug him.

"Oh um hey Tj" I said trying to start a conversation with him.

he started backing away from us, and shaking his head. He turned around and started walking away.

"Tj wait" I said while getting up and running towards him.

I grabbed his arm and didn't let go. I can't lose him again. Not again. Please not again.

He turned around and looked me in the eyes. I didn't know what to do. He tried pulling away again but I can't let go. I don't want to.

I did the only thing that came to my mind.

I hugged him.

"Please don't leave me" I said on the verge of tears.

"I can't lose you again. Please" I said while burying my head into his chest.

I felt his arms rap around me, and I suddenly felt safe again. Thank god.

We stayed like that for a few minutes, until we finally pulled apart.

The tears in my eyes had stopped, but I noticed his hasn't. I lifted my hand up to his face and wiped his tears away.

"I'm sorry" I said and I meant it. But I didn't know why he was so upset.

"It's fine." He said while frowning slightly

The bell rang, and everyone started leaving to their next class. I started walking away until someone pulled my arm. I turned around and saw Tj smiling slightly.

"What?" I said giggling.

"Do you wanna go to the park after Vanessa's performance?" He said not letting go of my hand.

"Sure. Why not" I said smiling.

"Ok. It's a date" he said while walking away.

I was left in the lunchroom standing there shocked.

I was going on a date with TJ Kippen.
