Sleep is no longer something I try to do. When I close my eyes I see Tyeer, and then Mythe. Every day since that went down, people trying to find out who killed him have asked me things like "Tell me what is it you saw exactly." Or "Did you notice any movement?" It's rather tiring.
The I'd say something like "No."
Then there was the funeral, and will reading. It's two weeks behind me, and I can not get the image out of my mind. I know Mythe did something or another to provoke him, but still.... I walk up the steps, and into the house. Sebastian wasn't as upset as I was expecting. But he and his father weren't that close. He grabs my hand as I sit down at the table. His aggressive grip is quite painful. But he smiles, wider than I've ever seen him smile.
"Why are you so happy?" I ask.
"Just happy." He replies. But his hand is crushing mine.
"Then why are you upset?" I ask quietly.
"Why would I be?" He asks, I hold up my hand, his still clinging to it.
"My hand is almost purple." I reply, and he realises his grip.
"They elected the new president today." He answers. Meaning, he is happy he doesn't have to do it and mad about the choice.
The second in control, are known as the court, when a president is removed from office, it is there job to elect the new one. Most of the time, they are either killed or died of old age. The phone then rings.
After speaking to whoever is on the other end, Sebastian says.
"You are needed at Jacobs." I nod.
"I need to get my stitches removed anyway." I tell him, I'll stop on the way back." I add, and am out the door before anything else can be said. I run to Jacobs medium sized home, and let myself in. I try to push my fear of Bishop out of my head.

"Jennifer, hurry! I NEED your help!" Bishop yells. I run into his hideously painted living room, and follow her voice up the stairs.
Jacob lay passed out on the floor.
"Why didn't you call the healers or something?!" I ask.
"I did, no one answered!" She yells. "Do you think you could manage to ride a horse into town, and I can get him?" She asks.
"YES! GO!" In a minute she's out front with two horses. "Where did the other one come from?" I ask. She half smiles at me.
"Jacob has horses." She yells. I jump on the one that she is not already on, and we race down the dirt road to the healers.
I dismount, and we carry Jacob in. A familiar face greets us.
"Jennifer," Tyeer says. "Time your stitches were removed?" He asks.
"You needed stitches?" Bishop asks, and I nod.
"Um... no, something happened to Jacob here." I reply. He nods, and lifts Jacob from Bishops arms.
After about ten minutes, Tyeer look up from the patient. "He's had a heart attack, but will make a full recovery." Bishop sighs. "I'm going to keep him here over night, and take the stitches out of your friends face. You can leave if you'd like."He adss. Bishop exits the room, and then I hear her thunder away on her horse.
"I sure didn't expect to see you here." I say, as he is removing the last stitch.
"Thank you, for not turning me in. I hope you can get over being scared of me and we can be friends." He say.
"I'm not scared, and you're welcome." I say. "I figured you have your reasons, that and I wasn't particularly fond of Mythe myself." I add. He smiles and pulls a bottle of flower petals from his pocket.

"This is for you." He says. I take it and instantly become mesmerized by them.
"Thank you." I say, and slip out of the healers building.
I run down the short cut, and back to the large yellow house.
"Well?" Sebastian asks as I walk in.
"Jacob had a heart attack." I reply. I let him continue to be shocked, and walk out the back door. I climb the willow tree again, and stare at the bottle.
"For the happiness of Sebastian, Bishop, Jacob, Tyeer, and myself." Then something happens I wasn't planning on happening. The petals begin to move, they create a five petaled flower, and then everything is still. One petal drops.
