We came back home and my mom gave us hot chocolate to warm us up since we were outside for a long time. George grabbed his cup and sat really close to me on the couch and snuggled close to me to try to warm up.
"How was the park?" My mom asked cleaning up the kitchen.
"It was fun," I say taking a sip from my cup.
"Very." George adds on with a smile. I start to blush a bit, and so does George.
"I'm so glad all of you came over this Christmas."
"Thank you for having us over, we really appreciate it." Sapnap says.
"Of course Nick, and Clay," I lift up my head. "Please bring them over more often."
"I'll try my best." I say sighing.
After we all finished our cocoa, I washed all the plates and loaded them into the dish washer. I looked at the time, 9:00 pm. I head to the front door and start to put on my coat.
"Okay mom, I think it's time for us to head home."
"Already?"
"Yeah, it's starting to get late."
"Well you all can just stay the night, just tonight and you all can leave the next morning." I look at Sapnap and George and they nod their head.
"Okay, but you have to find us tooth brushes, pjs, and toothpaste."
"I'm on it."
"Thanks momma." I hug her and she heads to her room and starts to gather everything for us.
"Man, your mom loves us." Sapnap says moving right next to me.
"She's missed you guys, I guess she also misses when we were in high school and had sleepovers like every weekend."
"It was nice to see her." George say moving on the other side of me and hugs my arm. Sapnap pretends not to notice, but he's eyeing us.

"Okay, I'm not sure if these fit you, but I remember that they were a little big in you when you guys were last here." My mom says handing George and Sapnap their pajamas. "And Clay you can just wear your dad's clothes." I walk to my parents' room and into their closet. I grab a random shirt and some pajama pants. I head to the basement and see that it hasn't changed much besides a few things that were moved around to make more room. I walk into my old room, it was kind of empty with everything moved to my new house. I get dressed and go out to see where George and Sapnap are.
"WHAT THE HELL GEORGE." Found them.
I walk into the hangout room to see George and Sapnap playing Monopoly. Sapnap landed on a very expensive lot that George owned.
"George can we please trade? I don't have enough money to pay for rent."
"I don't want your trashy rail road." George scoffs.
"Please George. I'm begging you."
"Pay the rent."
Sapnap sighs and the screen pops up with the words "bankrupted" popped on the screen.
"Intense game of Monopoly?"
"Well if George didn't spend all of this money on lots I would actually have a chance."
"Three years later and you still can beat George in Monopoly."
"Shut up Dream." I stick my tongue at him to poke fun at him. George invites me to play a few games against him and Sapnap.
Once Sapnap wins a different game; he starts to brag about how he won. It was starting to late and I decided to go to bed, Sapnap was sleeping in the guest bedroom, George was going to sleep on the couch, and I slept in my old room. We all got ready for bed, said goodnight and went into rooms. Once I got into the bed, I was restless. I kept tossing and turning, I stared at the ceiling and the dim light around the ceiling. How the hell am I going to sleep? I was on my side when I heard a faint knock, I look over and see George peering around the corner.

"Oh, hey George." I sit up.
"Hey Dream, were you sleeping?"
"No, I can't sleep."
"Neither can I. Can I talk to you for a bit?"
"Sure," I move over and lift up the comforter. He sits where I previously was and he sat down and put the comforter on himself.
"What's on your mind?"
"I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about our," He stops and smiles to himself and blushes a little bit.
"Our kiss?" He looks at me and nods his head. "What about it?"
"I dunno, just it being so perfect."
"Perfect?"
"Yeah, perfect." I smile and so does he.
"I'm sorry if you didn't want to do it, I completely understand if you didn't-"
"No, no, no. It's completely fine."
What the hell. Why am I like this.
"I need to get something off my chest."
"What's that?"
"Remember when I said I like someone?"
"Yeah," He takes a breath.
"It's a he. I like a guy."
"A guy." I smile.
"Yeah, I'm kinda embarrassed."
"There's no need to be embarrassed, I'm glad you told me."
He looks at me with a relived look.
"Can I sleep here tonight? This is a little bit more comfortable than the couch."
"Yeah, it's not anything different from what we do at my house."
I lay my head on my pillow and he does while he faces me. I think he knows by now I like him. I put my hand on his cheek and stroke his face with my thumb. I give him a light kiss on the forehead.
"Goodnight George,"
"Goodnight Dream,"

Becoming The Wolfman
Hello everyone. I’m an avid reader but I’ve never tried writing my own novel to be published. So I’m going for it on Royal Road and let's see what happens. Prologue My story begins while working as a Security Officer. I’m Bill501 aka the Wolfman as I have about 15 different Wolf tattoos. Not that you would know it since I have to cover them all for work. I’m sitting at my desk waiting for lunchtime and greeting all the employees in the building as they walk by. All the sudden I have a splitting headache and I’m trying not to show it because I don’t have sick time and I don’t want to go home sick and lose money. Suddenly a screen comes up but it just looks like floating text. It says Welcome to the System. Hell I read at least 5 novels a week that start that way so I’m like hell yeah so worth the headache. I’m over here saying status and character screen and anything else I can think of to bring up my stats and it doesn’t do shit…. 15 minutes later I get a message that says loading…..

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
