《Hillbilly x Reader [A Dead By Daylight Fanfiction]》Chapter 10: Edgy Escape!

Being legless was agonising. Being trapped with a psychotic boy inside a vengeful man's body was absolutely terrifying. But the worse part was not being able to do anything about the shitty situation you were in. Billy was nibbling your neck affectionately whilst cuddling you and you were completely helpless.
"Please... Stop..." You begged despairingly; even wishing for death at this point.
"" He asked quietly, genuinely confused as he snuggled into you like a child would to a mother.
Tears sliding down your face, you stared at the bloody wooden ceiling of the basement wondering where you went wrong. What did you do in life that made you deserve this? You didn't hate him, in fact you pitied him because he was so alone. But now he's latched himself onto you and will never let you go! He growled suddenly as he stood up and grabbed his weapons.
"" Billy snarled angrily, shaking with rage.
"Wh...at?" You whispered confused, looking up at him with tired eyes.
"" He promised passionately, kneeling down to give you one last kiss before running off.
"I'm outta this bitch!" You mumbled weakly; feeling hope for the first time. This was the only time he's left you, so you have to take this chance!!
With an agonising moan, you began to pull yourself towards the stairs and crawl up them. You got to the top and left the house completely, crawling into some tall grass. You tensed up as Billy stormed past, chasing a survivor. You knew he went to check the basement to see if you were alright because a minute later you heard a yell of anger.
But you couldn't stop feeling sorry for him.
His family hated him.
He had no one.
And now he's lost you.
"But he chopped my fucking legs off! I've got to go." You argued with yourself fiercely, pulling yourself further away.

"Hey!" A voice called to you nervously and you looked up to see a girl.
"Hello." You greeted shyly, your cheeks reddening from embarrassment.
"What happened to you?!" The girl gasped, seeing your legless state.
"The unnamed son chopped them off, so I would stay with him forever." You explained tearfully and her mouth dropped.
"That's so awful! How can I help you?" The girl replied sympathetically as she bent down.
"Please, help me get away from this house. He'll look for me." You pleaded exhaustedly and she nodded.
"I'll do the best I can. My name's Clarissa." Clarissa promised kindly, wrapping your arm around her neck and hoisting you into the air.
"Thank you so much! My name's (Y/n)." You replied gratefully, touched by her help.
"How come you're here?" You asked curiously and she sighed.
"Our bus broke down and we were looking for help. We didn't know this was an abandoned place." She explained lightly, panting slightly from carrying you.
" 'Our' ?" You quoted confusedly.
"Yeah. I came here with other survivors: Nalissa, Jay, Mel and Dwayne." Clarissa introduced her group to you and your eyes widened.
"So similar." You mumbled puzzled and she frowned.
"What are you talking about-?" She questioned bemused as she set you down on a wooden box.
"My group before they were all killed had very similar names: Nea, Jake, Meg, Claudette and Dwight." You told her nervously, watching her eyes narrow.
"Weird." She muttered and stretched, flipping her dark hair back.
"Thanks for helping me, I really appreciate it." You said graciously, and she gave a breezy laugh.
"Don't worry about it! We have to help each other to get out right?" She smiled warmly and you nodded.

"Shit! The psycho's coming! You said you didn't want him to find you right?" Clarissa remarked urgently and you nodded suspiciously.
"Yeah-"
"Okay! Really sorry about this!" She bit her lip and shoved you off the box, you landing back in grass.
"Come get me!" She yelled at him and proceeded to run away, throwing pallets down.
Billy growled at her and sprinted after her; intending to kill. You groaned in pain, the blood coming out of your legs increasing. If you don't escape soon, you'll die from blood loss. Taking a deep breath, you heaved yourself forwards and carried on crawling. Hot tears swam down your face along with sweat but you ignored it as you kept moving.
Whoosh! What was that? You tilted your head to the right and heard the airy sound more clearly. Gazing that way, you saw a strange looking hatch, open on the floor.
"Could that...be...?" You trailed off hopefully, and began to move in that direction.
Could it be the escape?! You stopped anxiously as you saw Billy walk past it and gritted your teeth when he stopped. He stared at it for a minute - as if remembering where it was - and continued to chase Clarissa. Making your move, you continued to move incredibly slowly until you were two inches away from the hatch. Billy shouted in worry as he saw you were there and immediately rushed back, but you had already crawled on top of it.
"I...Did...It..." You wheezed victoriously as you fell into it, leaving an infuriated Billy behind.

"Miss? Miss?" A voice called calmly. Bright light burned in your vision and you winced painfully.
"Miss?" The voice repeated as your vision cleared and you opened your eyes.
"Where...am...I?" You croaked sleepily.
"St.David's Hospital. Do you remember anything (Y/n)?" The nurse asked gently and you blinked a few times.
"I...I..." You sighed weakly, sitting up.
"Someone found you on the side of the road, by the abandoned farmland. Do you remember how you got there?" She explained softly, flipping her hair back as she wrote down some notes.
"I fell down a hatch that must've led me to outside." You mumbled timidly.
"Can you tell me from the beginning?" The nurse asked kindly and you took a deep breath.

Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.

Mc's not part of the story

Inside this place, he met people that would help him reach his goal: to return back on Earth and meet his family. (note: this is my first novel. If you see any errors just tell me and I'll edit it. It grew stronger with every scream, it’s corruption instilling absolute bedlam and madness.
