"Oh god...Nea no..." You saw Billy grin viciously before swinging his hammer straight at her head, splattering the ground with bits of blood, flesh and bone. You forced yourself to stand up hurriedly and ran to her side, shaking.
"Nononono! Nea! Oh Nene, no!" You moaned hysterically, grabbing her shoulders and beginning to cry.
"" Billy asked slowly, confused as why you were so upset.
"I can't believe you'd do this." You sobbed sorrowfully and stood up, letting go of Nea.
"I'm leaving." You purposely tried to hurt him spitefully and he shook his head quickly, reaching out for your hand.
You knocked his aside and started walking away, realising that you didn't have your bag. Billy must have it. Crap. You yelped as he suddenly pinned you against the outer brick wall tightly, hurting you.
"" Billy growled fiercely, his voice low and cold.
"O-Oww...you're hurting me!" You whimpered anxiously, squeezing your eyes shut. A sudden rush of pain filled your head, shoulder and neck area strongly.
"" He released you softly and your body shook with pain.
"No it wasn't...I mean...I should've..." You trailed off sadly.
What could you have done to prevent this? You jumped nervously as he picked you up bridal style and in defeat you rested your head against his muscular chest. He was so warm. You found his heartbeat soothing for some reason and just gave up; letting him carry you off somewhere. He laid you back down on the dirty mattress in the basement and used your sleeping bag as a blanket.
"Thank...you..." You thanked him weakly before feeling exhaustion wash over your body. Your eyes unwillingly closed and you slept, leaving reality behind.

You opened one eye blearily and shrieked in surprise as you saw two white ones watching you. Billy poked your cheek playfully as you sat up. It was only then that you noticed that he had your sketchbook in his hands.

"Did you get that out of my bag...?" You asked faintly, smiling a little as he tried to hide the fact that he had looked through it.
"It's alright, I don't mind you seeing it." You remarked sleepily and he grinned as he flicked to a certain page. You'd drawn a black and white sunflower, outlining it in black ink.
"Oh the flower...do you like it?" You asked casually, feeling a little proud as he nodded.
"Well...here." You ripped it out of the sketchpad carefully and handed it to him.
"" He responded happily, literally beaming as he held it.
You woke up a little bit more and then remembered how Meg and Nea were dead. You gulped and tried not to cry as you missed them terribly. Billy noticed and pulled you onto his lap, tenderly cuddling you. You started to sob in his arms and he rocked you back and forth, trying to be helpful. They were gone. Meg...Nea...They weren't coming back. An hour passed and eventually you couldn't cry anymore, so you wiped your eyes and stood up miserably.
"Why did you kill Meg and Nea?" You decided to ask him, curious as to his reasoning behind it. You have to understand him before you can help him. He pursed his lips, as if trying to figure out the right words.
"" He told you darkly and your cheeks went pink in embarrassment. He killed them because he thought you'd just up and leave? Billy must be really lonely...
"I'm not going anywhere. So don't worry yourself okay?" You assured him kindly and he nestled into the crook of your neck affectionately. You didn't know if that was a lie or not, but you decided to just go with it. Your cheeks burnt deeply as you awkwardly rubbed his back.

"" Billy stumbled over his words as he quietly said them into your chest.
"I...I know..." You replied shyly. You didn't know if you even liked him, let alone loved him.
A lot has happened...And he killed two of your best friends! But it wasn't his fault. He was just...mentally scarred from his childhood...and was really unstable. You broke away from the hug and went to grab the bottle of water from your bag. Thirstily, you drank half of it and offered the rest to Billy, who shook his head.
"When was the last time you had water? Or food for that matter?" You asked puzzled and to your utter bemusement he pointed to the hook, black smoke wafting around.
"I...don't understand..." You remarked stupidly, and he just shook his head, telling you it doesn't matter. You wondered where Claudette and Dwight were, shivering at the image of their dead bodies infiltrating your mind. You hoped they were okay...Stretching, you went to go leave when Billy stood in front of you; blocking you from leaving.
"Billy, please move." You sighed impatiently and he shook his head.
"Please! I have to go see if my other friends are alive." You insisted pleadingly, but he still stopped you - pointing at your shoulder.
"I know I'm hurt...but that doesn't matter." You persisted urgently and tried to simply walk past him. You gasped as he seized you around your waist and hugged you, using his strength to bring you back effortlessly.
"Are you for real...?" You muttered helplessly and let him sit you back down like a child.
"Can you at least pass me my bag?" You asked in despair as he nodded and brought it over. You picked up your favourite book [insert title here] and began to read; trying to take your mind off of all this madness. But your mind kept travelling back to your friends, and so you decided to make a plan to go find them.
