Out of nowhere he dropped his weapons and tackled you to the ground, hugging you instead?! You were frozen in disbelief so you just let him hug you awkwardly, wondering what the fuck just happened. A few minutes later he stopped hugging you and gazed into you eyes again, almost curiously - like a child would. Wait a minute...oh no... Has he attached himself to you, like a small child would to a parent?
"O...kay...kinda... creeping me out..." You admitted with a nervous laugh.
"Um so-WOAH!" You yelped as he grabbed your hand and started leading you somewhere.
"Wait!" You insisted weakly, but he ignored you and eventually he stopped. He pointed eagerly at this giant tree; where dead cows were being hung on the branches.
"H-How...um...lovely..." You tried to keep the sarcasm out of your voice, but it was difficult. He beamed as the smell of the dead animals hit you, and you tried not to vomit at the putrid smell.
"So does this mean...you're not going to kill me?" You asked slowly, confused. He nodded shyly and took your hand again, this time showing you decapitated pigs.
"Can you please stop showing me dead things?" You asked with a sigh and hurt flitted across his features.
"People don't really like being showed corpses." You told him hastily and he nodded again.
"Not much of a talker are you?" You said kindly as he shook his head.
"I know your parents didn't give you a name, but what should I...call you?" You inquired delicately as he held your hand and went back to the place you were before, to collect his weapons. He shrugged as he picked up his chainsaw and hammer.
"Hmm...Rick?" You suggested but he immediately shook his head.

"Chris?"
"Tom?"
"Henry?"
"Billy?" The last one got a happy nod and you smiled; satisfied.
"Okay Billy...do you promise not to kill any of my friends?" You asked hopefully and he shook his head determinedly.
"Please don't...please." You begged and he shook his head again stubbornly.
"Well if you don't promise, I guess I'll just go." You decided to press his buttons, feeling bad as he hugged you and kept shaking his head frantically. He really IS just like a child...
"Look I'll make you a deal, I'll stay if you let my friends go...and-" You paused, thinking,"-I'll let you kill the next people who come here."
He thought about it and was about to nod in defeat when a loud sound echoed across the farmland, sending Billy into a frenzied rage. He must not want the generators fixed...
"No Billy wait-!" You tried to stop him when he revved the chainsaw and sped away.
"Shit, shit, shit!" You swore in alarm and broke out in a sprint, running to that generator.
"Meg!" You cried in shock as you saw a stone hammer lodged in her back. She was crawling on the ground and Billy picked her up effortlessly.
"Billy don't you dare!" You snapped panicking and he stared at you - as if confused.
"Put her down!" You ordered coldly, shaking with fright.
"Put me down you disfigured freak!" She screamed furiously and that sent him over the edge.
"No she didn't mean it! Please!" You pleaded fearfully as he carried her away.
"Meg!" Dwight came out of his hiding place and stared with horror.
"We have to rescue her!" He exclaimed frantically as he started to run.
"I know, I know." You agreed - alarmed - and followed Dwight. You got there just in time to see Billy slam her on a hook savagely, hitting her with the stone hammer again.

"No!" You yelped loudly as you sped towards her. You went to unhook her safely when Billy pulled you away from Meg and threw you over his shoulder.
"What the-?!" You thrashed around wildly and with a grunt of pain he dropped you on the floor.
"(Y/N) RUN!" Dwight yelled, holding flashlight and you realised he had temporarily blinded Billy. The killer raised his hammer and was about to hit Dwight in rage when you staggered in front of Dwight and took the hit. Blood poured out from your shoulder and you whimpered in pain; sparkling tears rolling down your cheeks.
"No (Y/n)!" Dwight groaned guiltily as he lifted Meg off of the hook and started to stagger off with Meg.
"I'm sorry (Y/n)!" Meg wailed regretfully as they left.
They left you!! You fell to your knees and clutched your shoulder, trying to hold back cries. Black dots danced across your vision and you started to feel very, very dizzy. Billy shook your shoulders - almost nervously, as if he was feeling ashamed - and you passed out from blood loss and exhaustion.

Pain was all you could feel. Light burned your eyes and you blinked, making your vision clear a little. It was still pretty dark, but luckily your eyes adjusted and you looked around your surroundings. You were in a small basement, which had a big post with four meat hooks hanging off of them. Your shoulder had been bandaged up and you were lying on some kind of old mattress.
"Huh?" You wondered puzzled as you stood up. Pain engulfed your body and you gritted your teeth, tears still wet on your face. Billy came into the basement, a look of worry plastered across his features. You backed away from him slightly, nervous of what he would do.
"." He croaked slowly, as if he didn't know how to speak.
"You...know my name-?" You asked bemused and he nodded timidly.
"Billy apologised gruffly, and came closer to you.
"It's...okay..." You replied gently, feeling awkward as he caressed your face. He must've picked up your name and how to say sorry from Dwight and the others. He hugged you tenderly before going to change your bandages, and you felt surprise at the warm action.Maybe he's just been alone and needed someone to understand him...

Statless
Summary Alexander Weiss, an intelligent and slightly unusual man, always dreamt of becoming a mage. Sadly, reality is harsh and even his best efforts never allowed him to achieve his goal during his lifetime... or did they? One has to be careful what they wish for, lest they might live to see it fulfilled. Description Follow Alex, a man whose pursuit of magic could not even be stopped by his non-magical reality, going as far as to create it himself, only to encounter an unsurmountable obstacle shortly before achieving his lifes goal, denying him all access to these powers. His journey will take him through a miraculous world, full of wonders, magic and manic beasts trying to devour him! He will learn much about this world during his adventures, exploring individual aspects of the System and the various monsters that came from it... or did they? Strong points What you'll get from this novel is the following (read with overly enthusiastic salesman-voice) : • An ending! I'll complete it, no matter what. Well, not "no matter what", but as long as I don't unexpectedly end, this novel won't either! • Good grammar! Might not be perfect, but it's definitely good enough to not detract from the story in the slightest. I'll also fix any reported mistakes as soon as possible, be they grammatical, syntactical or just inconsistencies. • No plot-armor! Or plot-weapons! Or plot-... potions? And no plot-holes! If you see some, it's most likely information that is being witheld for future revelations! But in the (hopefully) very unlikely case of such a vile beast being encountered, please inform me immediately and I'll see to slaying it without grace! (Translation: If you see plot-holes, tell me and I'll fix them) • Logic! [Hidden : Spoilers][Hidden : More Spoilers] [Moved to Chapter [Hidden Spoiler]'s Author's Note] Marvelous, I know! • Blue Boxes! And maybe something more! • Sensible retroactive edits! Not to be confused with radioactive edits! You'll not have to re-read previous chapters, even if they get some major edits. If they were to receive new information, I'll add that very information to the newly released chapters too, in a reasonable way. • Realism! Shocking, I know! Especially considering the tag related to that and the point about "Logic!". This also means that the story will be... well, realistically depicting a pretty messed up world. Don't expect bunnies... at least not cute ones. • Relatively faster paced! No long and boring descriptions of irrelevant stuff. There will be some longer descriptions about important things, but that's gonna be necessary world- and/or character-building! • Short action! Might not be a plus for some, but you won't have to look at a whole (or, god forbit, multiple) chapter describing a fight against the same enemy... • Strategy and hard progression! It's a dog-eat-dog world! No grinding/power-creep! If you're up against three enemies of your level at once, you've already lost! • Understanding! It will be mostly about discovering the wonders of this new world and how it became like that, all while trying to survive. So there will be enough action nonetheless! • Humor! Sometimes dark, sometimes light, always at the worst moment! • Constructive critics, welcome! Destructive critics, nope... I can handle criticism though, so don't go easy on me! Just make sure it's really a mistake when complaining about something. • Will add more in the future! If I can think of more stuff...
