《Hillbilly x Reader [A Dead By Daylight Fanfiction]》Chapter 3: Sticky Situation

You shivered as you stealthily moved through the cornfield. How were you going to find help? Or find out what to do? You only said those things to calm Claudette, but now you're really stuck.
"I left my bag next to the house." You realised disappointedly, as you slowed down. It had your phone in, as well as some books, a sleeping bag, your sketch pad and some other essentials.
"I should go get it, it might come in helpful." You decided aloud and started walking back to the house. Clenching your fists uncomfortably, you made yourself go into the house and out onto the porch, searching for your bag.
"Oh thank god it's here." You said in relief and went to grab it when-
"(Y/n)......" A voice moaned in agony and you gasped.
"Jake!" You exclaimed in horror, seeing him crawling towards you. The stench of blood and flesh filled your nose and you clapped a hand over your mouth hurriedly.
"Help meeeeeee..." He begged feebly and you gagged at the sight of him. His shoulder and the side of his body were bleeding heavily, whilst his organs seemed to be coming out of his back.
"Oh god!" You mumbled miserably and clutched at your head, trying to think.
"How do I help you? You're organs aren't even in your body anymore Jake! I'm...so sorry." You said regretfully and snatched your bag up.
"Yo....u... B...itch..." He whispered hatefully and then died.
"Nononono!" You whimpered, tears sliding down your cheeks. There was nothing you could do. Even if he was a prick, he didn't deserve to die...The smell was too much so you started to move away when you heard Nea scream.
"Nea!" Your eyes widened and you immediately followed the yells.

"NO! NO! NO! LEAVE ME ALOOONE!" Nea howled, holding her side as blood poured out.
"Nea, are you okay?" You asked hurriedly as you both ran together; Nea limping.
"Do I look fucking okay to you (Y/n)?!" She hissed in pain and bit her lip to hold back the screams.
"Sorry! Where is he?" You asked nervously, not even wanting to look back.
"Still thinks I'm around that shitty ass pile of rocks." She panted as you two stopped for a second.
"You're bleeding so much! Here let me help you." You stumbled over your words and dug through your bag, hoping there was something to help with Nea's wounds.
"T-Thanks." She said gratefully and waited whilst you panicked.
"Um...Hmm...oh!" You found one of your tops and used some scissors in your bag to rip it into strips. You used the make-shift bandages and patched her up as much as you could.
"That's feels better." She sighed blearily, all the drinks and adrenaline making her sleepy.
"Go find a hiding place and sleep it off. We can figure out what to do in the morning." You planned firmly and pushed her a little.
"Right. Thanks (Y/n)." Nea thanked again warmly and wandered off.
"Why is all this happening?" You held your arms, trying not to cry. The chainsaw sounded and someone sprinted past you, narrowly avoiding you as they hit a tree.
"Oh fuck!" You yelped, as the unnamed son pulled the chainsaw out of the tree and ran towards you.
You backed away - and for a split second it felt like he slowed down. However you weren't taking any chances so you turned around and ran. Where were you meant to go?! You pulled down a barricade and you sped up when you heard him breaking it. Seeing the blimp, you darted into it and saw Claudette missing.

"Claudette-?" You called in a hushed tone urgently and turned around to see him already catching up to you. Jumping in fear you hopped through the window and went around the side, hoping to juke him. Luckily it worked and you breathed a shaky sigh of relief as he stormed off somewhere else.
"My phone!" You exclaimed as you took out your iPhone 6 from your bag and tried calling 911.
[Error: Could not connect]
Source of problem: No signal❌📶
"No signal?!" You read your phone's error message in horror and tried calling them again.
"Shit..." You swore bitterly and looked through the rest of your bag.
You had:
•Your makeshift bandages.
•A bottle of water.
•A sleeping bag.
•You iPhone 6.
•Your Sketching Pad/Pens.
•Some scissors.
•Some books.
Only four of those items would help you; the makeshift bandages, the bottle of water, the sleeping bag and the scissors. Everything else was useless!
"This is such a mess." You sighed exhaustedly and zipped your bag up, before hoisting it on one shoulder.
"I should find the others. There's no time to waste!" You said aloud and started moving tiredly towards a large barn. It had bales of hay in large rows and there was another generator. Should you start doing it?You hesitated but after not hearing any screams you started fixing it, learning that fixing generators isn't that hard after all. But then you fucked it up.
"Ah no! I didn't mean to do that." Your voice trembled and yelled in fright as the unnamed man rammed his chainsaw into the generator. You tripped backwards in shock and tried to back away/crawl slowly. His milky white eyes gazed into yours deeply and silence fell as you stared at each other.
"I-I...I..." You stuttered, trying to come up something to say; to break this terrifying awkward silence.
But then he...simply...walked away...

Journey of my Core
I have a hard time referring anything that I write to as 'Original'. The longer we as a species exist the harder it is to be truly original, I am certainly influenced by all that I read and watch Including but not limited to J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, and all of the stories here on Royal Road. From the start the MC is only able to comprehend the most basic of what is impacting it with very little to no understanding of the MC's surroundings. There may be updates in the future, but I am in no way a consistant writer. I will never claim to be the best artist, but I drew a representation for my story. Procrastination... Procrastination...
