Felix looked in his clothes draw, contemplating whether on not he was mentally strong enough to wear his new skirt. He wanted to, a part of him also wanted him to see how Chan would react. In the end, he decided to go with it. He paired it with a casual t-shirt but also wore one of his silver earrings, making the outfit look somewhat fancy in a way.

He didn't know where they were going but since it was Chan, he guessed it was probably somewhere nice.

He noticed that he still had ten spare minutes so he decided to look for Chan. However as soon as he opened the door, the man was standing right in front of him. And damn he looked good. He took in every detail of Chan's outfit. He looked like a model. Except even better looking than what a model was supposed to look like.

He didn't realise, but Chan must have been looking at him too, as they were interrupted by Changbin. "Are you two just going to keep looking at eachother or..?" He then walked off.

He once again, flushed a deep red, and looked at the ground trying to hide it.

He heard Chan clear his throat and ask "ready to go?"

He was too embarrassed to speak, he could only nod his head. He suddenly felt Chan get closer to him, his heart started to race. He kissed him on the forehead, then leaned close to his ear, "you look beautiful, baby boy."

Well, time to go jump out of a window.

"T-thanks. You look handsome."

Chan laughed, "thank you."

My lord his laugh is so heavenly.

They got in the car and started their drive, Felix asked where they were going, and to no surprise, it was some fancy restaurant.

"Chan?"

"Yeah baby boy."

"Can we go to the park after dinner?"

"Sure can baby boy, but why?"

Felix panicked, "uhm i want to play."

Chan laughed "How cute."

Felix slapped chan across the arm. "Stop it."

"Owww stop what."

"Stop calling me cute. I am not cute."

"That's what cute people say."

They bickered like this for the rest of the drive. It was light and happy. Felix enjoyed Chan's company. A lot.

He'd realised that he was starting to forget the pain of his past. He had things to look forward to. He didn't feel as lost as a person. This was something he hadn't noticed until recent. It was as if Chan was his saviour. Chan was pulling him out of the ditch that he had dug himself. And he was grateful.

They got to the restaurant after the playful drive and took their seats across from eachother. Felix saw the foods on the menu and was instantly able to pick out his favourites, he'd always attended business meetings at fancy places with his f- the man. So it wasn't too difficult.

He'd decided and was waiting for Chan to order when he caught the eyes of the boy across from him. Chan rested his elbows on the table with his face in his palms, a small smile played on his face and his eyes were squinted. He looked so cute.

"Ready to order?"

"Hm? Oh yeah." He immediately looked away and sat upright, calling the waiter over.

He was embarrassed to be caught. How adorable. Felix laughed to himself which earned a small glare from Chan who was ordering.

He realised the waiter had walked away after taking Chan's order. "Hey! You didn't let me order!"

"Silly boy." He reached over and ruffled the hair on Felix's head. "I ordered for you."

"But- but what if I don't like what you ordered."

Chan smirked. "Don't worry, I know allll your favourites."

"Humph."

When the food was brought out, Felix realised that it was exactly what he had originally wanted to order. How did he know? No way, he can't read minds can he?

Thinking about this, Felix blushed.

"What's wrong?"

"Huh, oh, nothing!"

Stop it Felix, stop it with your embarrassing thoughts!

"Seriously though, how did you know my favourite?"

"A little birdie told me some things..."

He slammed his hand on the table, "Jisung!!"

They enjoyed the meal and chatted for a while before taking off to the park. Felix was almost shaking from fear as they neared the playground.

"Here we are." Chan called as he started running. "I call dibs on the swing!"

Felix shook his head. What a child.

Felix had also wanted the swing, but it was fine. He didn't mind all too much.

He stepped onto the ground filled with bark and stood in front of the baby swing, would I fit in this?

Before he could try and squeeze himself into the seat, he felt hands on his waist and he was pulled onto someone's lap.

Somehow he had managed to put him in a position which Felix was facing him, sitting on his upper thighs. "Doubt you'd fit on that swing baby boy."

The air was cool and refreshing, no one was around and it was just light enough to make out each others features. The atmosphere was calm and a slight wind blew.

Felix secretly loved how close they were. Chan swung the swing the tiniest bit, and Felix was pushed forward, straight into his arms.

His head was placed in the crook of Chan's neck. Oh god, this was embarrassing. He immediately took action to get up, yet he was pulled straight back down by strong hands on his back. "Can we...stay like this for a while?"

Felix only nodded his head, he too, loved the way they were sitting. Safe, his mind told him.

Yes, he was safe.

"Chan?" He mustered up the courage after being in his thoughts for a while.

"Yeah Felix?

"I have.. something to tell you."

Chan was preparing himself for the worst. "Okay, but please can we stay like this while you tell me. I don't want to let go of you yet."

"Chan that's not-" Felix sighed. "Chan i- i think, i most definitely like you. And I said I'd give you a week to prove your feelings. I know it hasn't exactly been a week yet. But I can't wait anymore, I've seen your feelings. And you're such a genuine person, I don't believe you'd lie or joke or play someone like this. Chan you are one of the best people I know and you've proved more than enough, that you deserve the world. Thank you for supporting me.. and choosing to like me even though my background isn't great, and I'm not that great looking like you.. and-"

Fire.

Fire exploded all over his body, chan had pulled away from the hug, and roughly placed his lips over Felix's. He kissed back, matching the emotion and passion felt through the kiss. It was strong and filled with love, not lust.

He placed his hands lightly on Felix's waist and looked deeply into his eyes. "Never, NEVER, say anything bad about yourself again."

"Chan i- that wasn't the message-"

Chan leaned in and gave Felix a light peck. "I know."

Chan reached into his pocket and pulled out a box, with two silver rings inside of it. "Will you, Felix lee, give me the honours of being my boyfriend."

Felix teared up. His throat felt scratchy and the water in his eyes were filled to the brims. He never knew it would feel this relieving to have the struggle of trying to resist vanish. The struggle of fearing everything, the struggle of trying to not fall in love.

"Stupid. Why did you get rings. We're not getting married." He choked out while putting his head into Chan's chest. He cried. Hard. Tears of joy, though.

Chan put his arms around him and held him tightly. He finally had him, his life, his love.
