《By Chance 《Chanlix》》~ 25 ~

As the 8 boys were walking out the door, Chan heard a familiar voice. "Going somewhere boys?" his father called out. He turned around to see his him standing behind the crowd, paperwork in hand, wearing glasses held by his nose bridge.
"Yes." Chan answered emotionlessly. Strange he even asked, usually he never payed attention to what Chan did, or really anyone. Ahhhh, so this was what he meant by 'trying'.
He gestured to Felix, "take care of him for me will you." Chan nodded, feeling slightly happy that he now had an excuse to stay by Felix's side, this behaviour was so unfamiliar to him, his father really did sound sincere. "Yourself too."
Upon hearing this, Chans heart fluttered, he felt warm, was this what having parents care for you was like? It wasn't like he'd never experienced it before, but it wasn't so often that his father was so openly affectionate towards him. It had caught him off guard.
"I will." He answered, lips playing a small smile.
The 8 stood outside the doors trying to figure out who went in which car. They decided Chan would drive one, and were trying to find another driver. It was difficult since half the boys didn't even have their license.
"I'll drive one!" Minho pitched in over the loud chatter, eyeing the white Mercedes.
"No way. I don't trust you." Chan answered, earning a pout from the boy.
Chan looked at the few who could drive and decided that none of them were fit. Except for one.
"You," he said, pointing at the boy who's name he didn't know, "can you drive?"
"Yes."
"Okay good, you look trustworthy you're driving. Now who's coming with me and who's going with him."
No one spoke at first, all trying to guess who was a better driver. To Chans surprise, Felix was the first to say something.
"I'll go with him." He voiced and walked towards the Mercedes. Chan was disappointed, but not surprised. Next to speak was Jisung, "I'll go with Felix."
Next was Minho, "I'll go with Jisung."
Dang that hurt but whatever.
"Okay you three with me." He said, pointing to the little circle Hyunjin, Seungmin and Jeongin stood in, a little disappointed that he wouldn't get to ride with Felix. Scratch that, really disappointed.
They all climbed into the two separate cars, Chan taking notice of the way they all hesitated to get into the passenger seat. He rolled his eyes, "okay Jeongin get in the front seat." Chan spoke abruptly, sick of their tardiness.

He rested one hand on the wheel and impatiently sighed, waiting for all the passengers to get in. Meanwhile, the other car had already left the drive way and was on the way to their destination. Chan was jealous.
Once he had heard all of the doors shut closed, he asked "are we all ready?" But speeding off, not giving a chance for them to answer.
The car ride was quiet, chan sensed tension in the car and he didn't like it, he fought his mouth that wanted to say something throughout the whole drive. Until the last two minutes approached and he could not stand it any longer. "Look," he said, breaking the silence and starling Jeongin next to him, "i dont know what's happening with you guys but please, sort your shit out. You're making other people uncomfortable."
And they had arrived.
The words hit Jeongin like a ton of bricks. "Sort your shit out." He didn't realise that it was that noticeable, actually, he had been quite conflicted ever since last night. This group of three friends haven't been acting normal, but Jeongin didn't realise how bad it had actually gotten.
He feared that he had started this, he was the reason they were like this. He thought back to the night before when he had confessed to Hyunjin infront of Seungmin. Seungmin bounced into a mood and Hyunjin just stayed quiet. It wasn't the right time, why did he do it?
He was just confused at this point. Why was Seungmin acting the way he was, he hadn't done so much as to just look at them today and the three were usually like peas in a pod. Hyunjin had also been acting a bit strange, he was usually extremely outgoing but instead he was fairly quiet to the whole group. The three hadn't talked to one another the whole day.
Jeongin opened his side of the car door and walked out with his head down, passing the other boys he drove with and happily making his way to Felix's side, who looked dazed, feeling more comfortable. He only listened to everyone's small chats as the group entered the building, not up to talking.
Felix felt as though he wasn't fully 'there'. He was in the bowling alley, with eight other people, but everything felt surreal to him.
In a matter of just a few days, he felt as though his life had taken a 360 turn. He was out of the house, with people, friends, about to enjoy a simple day out. Just a little while ago, he was experiencing one of the worst breakdowns he had ever, and just before that, he had heard fake news of Bang Chan's death. And now here he was, grabbing his size 255mm shoes off of the counter and about to break into teams for bowling.

It was quite overwhelming to think about, but Felix just couldn't stop.
Felix focus on the game
He hadn't even told Jisung what had happened that night, or the next morning, heck he didn't even know what Jisung was doing at the Bang residence in the first place.
Calm down felix it's only been a day
Only a day? Felix didn't believe it, everything seemed so far away. It couldn't have been this morning that Felix woke up with- he suddenly felt his cheeks warming up thinking about the memory. But no, he couldn't think like this. He shouldn't have liked it, don't you dare get used to this feeling lee felix.
He snapped out of his mind and walked over to where the group was discussing teams near the lanes.
He saw Jinyoung and happily skipped to his side, only to look to his other side and find none other than Bang Chan. Felix screamed internally, his luck was not very high today.
For some reason he couldn't look away. He loved the way his blonde hair looked a light yellow against his pale skin, how his dark eyes matched with his earrings and his pink lips worked so well with his light blue thin button up shirt, rolled at the sleeves and paired with black, tight, oh so tight, jeans. Felix had to admit, Chan was eye candy today.
All of a sudden, Chan leaned down toward Felix "quit staring baby boy, you're making it obvious."
He turned a bright shade of red as he wiped the drool off the corner of his mouth and immediately spun to his other side, hiding himself in a confused Jinyoung's shirt.
"What's wrong," he asked, sounding both amused and concerned.
Felix pulled away, "nothing. Nothing at all." Felix spoke, poison in his tone, dripped in only for the tease of a man on his other side.
Jinyoung gave him a little laugh and turned to pay his attention back to the circle.
The group decided on teams and played for a while. Turned out Felix had a natural talent for bowling. While Chan, on the other hand, was worse than a blind ape. Because of this, Felix's team ended up winning and now, Chan's team was paying for their lunch.
The nine boys walked to a fancy looking restaurant, completely unfamiliar to Felix. Chan was leading the way since he knew the area the best, it seemed like he had picked an expensive place.
As they walked in, waiters greeted them by the door. Okay, that was fine, that was something Felix was used to from company dinners and what not, but what was strange was that they first had said "welcome mr Bang Chan" and bowed to him. Pfft like he even deserved the respect.
Anyway that's beside the point, he walked into the place acting like he owned it. Maybe he just came here a lot? But that wouldn't explain why the waiters felt the need to treat him like he was their boss.
Oh well, drop it felix, it's not important. You've got other things to think about, like what expensive ass meal to buy.
Almost immediately after the group had ordered, their food came to them, seemingly fresh. Felix would rate this restaurant five stars, he was quite impressed.
The table was filled with eight hungry pigs surrounding Felix.
All he could hear was slurping of food, no scratch that, inhaling of food, jeez no one had manners. Until someone spoke up.
"Jisung switch with me." It was Chan. He had finished his food, a real pig over here.
Felix's slow brain finally realised that jisung was sitting next to him. Noo, noooooo. "No jisung stay." He whispered to him.
"But Minho's over there." Jisung said, louder than he should've. Felix lifted his head to see if Chan had heard, and judging by the smirk he held, he would take that as a definite yes. Felix mentally face palmed.
Jisung stood up and walked to the other side of the table, where his boyfriend awaited him. All while Chan never broke eye contact with Felix, who was currently contemplating life.
He comfortably took a seat beside him. "Hi baby boy, I missed you too much." He whispered in his ear.
