《By Chance 《Chanlix》》~ 10 ~

Felix gripped onto the rock of the cliff with his small hands, the pain of the sharp bits piercing was nothing compared to the fear he felt.
He slowly angled his head to look downward, he gulped. It was a long way down.
He struggled and tried to get himself up, but every time his legs made it up to the top, the mountain would crack more.
Felix was terrified.
"HELP!!!"
Suddenly, the sky turned light and the clouds dissolved.
He felt warmth cover the top of his hands and was being dragged carefully up into someone's arms.
Chan?
Chan held him close to his chest and smiled that big, bright, beautiful smile that he always had when he was around Felix.
"Its all good now. I got you baby boy."
Chan leaned closer and closer to Felix's lips, Felix didn't move away. Instead, he closed his eyes and waited for the impact.
And then he felt it.
Chan's soft lips matched with his perfectly, he loved the taste of him.
Chan held Felix's face carefully and turned his head to deepen the kiss.
— —
Chan was gone.
Felix had woken up this morning to an empty bed and still sleeping roommates who wouldn't have know what happened to him either.
He thought that he might have just gone to the bathroom, but after he hadn't arrived after 15 whole minutes, Felix had decided to check his phone, only to realise that it was gone, along with his backpack and a few of his clothes.
He needed to find him, he didn't know why, but he had to know he was safe.
Later that day, Minho, Jisung's boyfriend, had come to the cabin, also looking for Chan. Felix had to explain the situation to him and now he, Felix, jisung, jeongin, seungmin and hyunjin sat in Felix's cabin, Changbin and Woojin gone to who knows where, trying to come up with where he could've disappeared to.
"Maybe he went home?" Seungmin suggested.
Felix was grateful for his friends being there, despite not knowing Chan. Without them, Felix would be a mess at the moment.

"Not likely." Minho answered, biting his nails.
"Why hyung? Why is it not likely?" Felix answered, curious as to how Minho could know so fast.
"I'm sorry, I don't think Chan would want me to tell you," he looked around the room, "or anyone."
This only made Felix's curiosity grow further.
What was going on at home?
Felix was now more worried, he sat on Chan's bed, legs couched to his chest with his arms wrapped around them, what was he to do?
Chan needed to be safe. Nothing could happen to him. But what if something did? What if he was not okay? What if he was...being blackmailed...
"Felix, are you okay?" Jisung asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Felix looked up at Jisung and only then, did he feel the salty tears rapidly sliding down his face as his vision blurred more and more.
"He- he needs to b- be oka-ay" Felix choked out, putting his face into Jisungs shoulder.
- time skip -
After a while of crying and his friends comforting him and telling Felix lies like 'he'll be okay', Minho spoke up and suggested that to get their minds off the situation, they all go to the club on Charles street. He had pointed out that there was no solution to this problem, and there was no point being upset because 'he'll surely be fine'.
So now they all sat at the club, having fun. Except for Felix, who was sitting in the corner biting his nails.
The loud music that blasted through the speakers did nothing to take his mind off Chan.
Felix had seen blond hair numerous times and immediately stood up from his seat, only to realise that it wasn't him.
He felt like he was going crazy.
He would snap his head to any sound that was similar to 'Chan,' he couldn't stop thinking about him...
Wow...he was beautiful.
Seungmin watched Jeongin through the rainbow lights as he danced happily in the body consuming music.
His shiny smile blocked everything else from his view.
"Come dance with me Minnie!!"

Seungmin almost exploded, he was adorable, 'Minnie', he thinked he liked that nickname.
Felix's friends had dragged him onto the dance floor, they had said that he looked upset and should try to have fun. But after dancing for around two minutes, he realised that he still wasn't having fun.
It was also extremely hot inside and Felix needed air, so now, he stood outside in the chilled air leaning his arms against the railing.
He sighed, how was he going to ever get Chan off his mind. He didn't even know why he was there in the first place. Chan was confusing Felix more and more with every passing day.
"Hey Felix, what's wrong?"
Felix snapped his head to the sound of the voice of the one and only Changbin. "Changbin?"
Looking at him, Felix could only think about what he had said in the cabin. He didn't want to be alone with him anymore.
"Hey um...I'm going to go back inside now." He spoke with a shaky voice. He felt a little bit bad for sounding like he was avoiding him, but to be honest, he was and that was something he couldn't deny.
"Why?" Changbin answered him, slowly inching forward to him. "I asked you a question," he kept walking closer until he had a trembling Felix backed up against a wall "you have to answer me."
Felix was scared to say the least, he didn't know what to do in a situation like this.
"I- I uh, it's n-nothing?" He spouted out as more a question, not meeting changbins eyes.
"LOOK AT ME GODDAMNIT"
Felix flinched and obeyed directly out of fear. What was wrong with Changbin?
He didn't have time to think anymore as he felt rough lips connect to his. He tried to pull away but Changbin had his hand placed on Felix's jaw. Felix didn't want this. He couldn't believe Changbin had stolen his first kiss.
Changbin kept the hand on Felix's jaw but he had pulled away, "why does it always have to be him? I thought we agreed that you were going to sleep with me? Why were you in his bed? Felix I tried to get rid of these feelings I get whenever I look at you, but I can't. Can you give me a chance?"
"No." Felix spat out in pure anger.
Changbin had stolen something that he was waiting to give away, now he couldn't forgive him.
"WHY NOT" Changbin screamed as he pushed his lips back onto Felix's, who was now crying.
Suddenly, he felt his jaw be released and almost immediately, he slid down the wall, just like his tears slid down his face.
Through the blue of his vision, he saw a hooded guy beating Changbin up. He heard screams and punches being thrown. Between who? He wouldn't have a clue. He was sobbing louder than any of the surrounding sounds.
The hooded guy stepped near him and the only thing he could see was his uncovered hand. It was pale and there was a small scar near his thumb.
Felix couldn't bare to watch all the violence anymore, it made his head hurt, so he closed his eyes.
After a few minutes of sitting against the wall, Felix stopped crying and opened his eyes to see no one there. His saviour would never be known, but he would be forever grateful.
"YOU ASSHOLE" Chan yelled as he threw a punch at Changbin's face. He held him up by the collar as he looked at Felix who was shaking against the wall, sobbing.
He continuously sent punches flying at Changbin until his face was bloody everywhere.
"You're coming with me and you're never going to lay a single one of your dirty hands on my baby boy ever again." he seethed through his teeth.
Seeing Felix like this broke his heart. He just wanted to hug him and tell him it was alright.
But he couldn't.
And that was the saddest thing of all.
He dragged Changbin away with him and chucked him into the black SUV, hopping in after him.
